    I am a 23 yr old guy in Saudi Arabia and I have been very unhappy since i was about 19. Im too afraid to come out.Keeping this to myself my whole life has taken its toll on me, the last 5 yrs especially.Im getting to a point where I don't even want to be around ppl at all anymore, I hate my life, I hate myself, and most of all I hate being so lonely. Ever sense I found out I was gay I had to hide it, which has turned me into a meaningless empty shell, I feel dead inside...I don't know what to do

      Abid, I am seeing your comment eight years later. How are you? Are you alive? Are you OK?

    It may not seem so now, but someone will come to help you. Please know that love will find you and you will be safe. I know you must feel trapped, but you are not alone.

    Thank you so much for this! This has helped me on so many levels. What a great perspective from such a diverse and motivating group of people from different backgrounds. Thank you to Yale, Professor Chauncey and all the others who collaborated in making this video.
    P.S. The song at the end great. I would really like to hear the entire piece. I highly recommend that the artist post a video or try to be put on iTunes even if just for that one song!

    I've seen many of these videos and while I think they are really good and proper to be done, I'm surprised at one thing. Why has no one done a video, and I can't do one or I would have, about those of us who literally can't come out because we're in a physical impossibility like being physically disabled, for example, and literally stuck living with people who would never approve unless there's a medical miracle or we win the lottery? How is someone supposed to live with that prospect forever?

    I'm confused. What's the difference in Yale College and Yale University? Are they the same school?

    He can't. Saudi Arabia is hell in every single way you can imagine. When a person leaves it you need permission and an excuse to leave. My sister lives in Saudi Arabia and i can't even go and see her, NOT EVEN HER MOTHER CAN. They just don't allow it. Homosexuality is a death sentance in Saudi Arabia and Iran. It's not as easy as you think.

    Move out of Saudi Arabia.

    People who say that they "Go by God" and yet they condemn homosexuality are actually hypocrites. For one, they're judging. Isn't that warned against in the Bible? People have no religious authority to speak for God, so that means, you cannot say "God hates you". You also do not have the religious authority to condemn people to hell on God's behalf. There was no word for "Homosexual" in old Greek and Hebrew. There are some popular mistranslations that use homosexual in place of these words.

    I just sent you a message. Since it proves homosexuality to not be sinful (with STRONG evidence in favour of it not being a sin) you are making a grave mistake by saying it is. Do not disregard it.
    By the way, those quotes you have posted were proven to be not anti-homophobic. There's a link in the message to a huge post.

    Being GAY Never Gets Better

  • @brha2367
    @brha2367 11 років тому

    The truth is that homosexuality is wrong. God is the authority. Such has been previously acknowledged, by law, that we are a nation which “Trusts In God”. A just and pure God cannot and will not let “wrong (homosexuality)” go on forever, especially when a nation condones wrong. People make their own choices, but also know that God is not mocked. Please read it for yourself, and follow what is truly right, and don’t be deceived into believing what is wrong…Romans 1:26-27; 1 COR 6:9-11.
