Love this video. It is very thorough and definitely one of the best tours I have seen. One question for you, for the theme dress night, was it 80s or White Party? I saw 80s on the itinerary but I wasn’t sure if this was a show?
I just got off this ship yesterday and I ported at grand Turk. While the information online said they would check vaccine status, they did not ask about it at all. Neither did they ask at Amber Cove. Nobody ever asked us about vaccination status at any point of the trip except for the carnival lady checking our documents at port Canaveral. She said you needed to show them proof at Grand Turk but nobody asked anyone for that, you just presented your sign and sail card to get off the ship and back on.
So would you say the Cheers package was worth it? I sail in 9 days and I’m still back and forth about it. This was a very thorough review btw so thank you!
Will be on this one Feb. 18-23 for my first cruise ever. My hubby is a pro cruiser. Taking all 3 kids too. One will be 3 weeks from turning 13. My concern is that he can just wander right out of the teen club area and we wouldn't be able to find him or something happening to him. Our 2 girls will be signed in and out but our son doesn't. Any tips for helping combat this or words of wisdom to help calm the anxiety?
This is probably the most thorough video I have seen on the Carnival Freedom, and very digestible. I love being informed before doing things, and this certainly helped out a ton. We're going in June! Looking forward to it!
Just got off this ship, the decor is ass ugly. The red snake skin wall paper in the posh dining room we felt was so strange. Besides the pizza on the pool deck and Guy's burgers, the food was pretty bad.

I have done Carnival cruises in December and they normally do a Christmas show in the theater,Christmas Carol singalongs in the atrium & some decorations.
I am planning on a cruise in January on this ship. Was there a lot of lines for food, was there always food available? How was the ship overall? I heard the smell of sewage in hallways, im getting nervous!
The only time I thought food lines were long was for pizza after 11 PM (the only free late night food option). Breakfast buffets probably had a couple minutes line. I had a blast on the ship overall, there were a few spot here and there with the sewage smell.

There is normally seafood options on the buffet and main dining room.

Very similar ships. Carnival Sunshine has better waterslides & a more modern feel, Carnival Freedom has more bars & lounges.

For me it definitely is. It’s all about how much you plan on drinking while on board

We are on this cruise. All our kids are over 13 but I still will worry. Getting wifi so we can text. And they are to stay together at all times.
This ship looks a little dated. The Mardi Gras and Sunshine look great!
