Degassi Base - is the in Deep Grand Reef or as you call it the "Anchor Pod Area" - in fact is probably within a few hundred metres of your Cyclops. A cyclops upgrade is here AND the Orange Tablet AND something special. Your cyclops can currently go to 1200m - Have you installed ANY depth modules on your Pressure Reactive Armored Waterproof Nano Suit (PRAWN)? This was a fantastic episode. You found the destroyed lab in the Lost River - you have all the tools to finish the game (except degassi base LOL). Go get that Kyanite (and the Degassi base) and explore the "Bad place" and the "worse place" and the "OMGWTF" place. You might not have built anything but you got so much done in this episode. You learned a lot more Lore and your explorations are building a picture in your mind of this new subterranean aquatic environment - don't forget FOBs - for recharging your powercells and to grow bioreactor fuel and water - You can also have an indoor garden on the Cyclops. This just keeps getting better and better 😁 edit: Scan, scan and scan again - its starts to get important, there are things below you don't want to miss .

I'll be out in my shift soon, Subnautica playthrough is a good pass time. also @ 1,200M, there's an entrance in a mountain/rock in the Volcanic region, an Alien facility is there w/ scannables lots of ion cubes, a sealed door way needed 2 purple tablets. try that before leaving for the 1.4Km facility
great maneuvering on the prawn suit. other streamers play Subnautica use the Seamoth scouring the Lost River, realizing the maximum 900m depth hits them with reality.. and then that's the only time they use the Prawn suit, trapped and don't know how to maneuver the grappling arm and jet boosters, collecting crystalline sulfur. Then upgrading with the jet booster module and thermal energy efficiency module; both for the prawn suit and the Cyclops as well.. yeah all the good stuff!😅
well when you're not the "THE AVERAGE PLAYER" reap the benefits. Also, please scan before you collect though. Nickel Ore drop one piece, scan then store, same for Kyanite, scan for Alien stuff,fishes, creatures. new biome, new fish. Though similar in appearance. The Biological data shows different readings on the creatures in your PDA. The lore goes on and on. the thought behind Subnautica goes even DEEPER 🤔🧐

In rhe deep sea bases, you may farm plant plants like acid mushrooms, creep vine seeds, why the seeds? you have the option for both creep vine seed clusters ot the sample
LOL @ 59.00 that "f***ker that skulks around the Aurora" is actually skulking just in that area. One of the other 25 Reaper leviathans is skulking around the Aurora along with 8 of its mates - you've probably encountered at least 5 different reapers so far 🤣

If you want, you grind resources back and forth shallows then the deep area. and build a little of a base near the giant cove tree. It's safe and in case you die in the volcanic rock biome, you'll respawn nearer.. Thermal energy plant goes well when you build on the vents.. and then use power transmitters to extend power lines.. it's glows blue and thin line show it connects the thermal power to your base, sunlight does not work in the depths so yeah.. plant indoor growbeds with food trees, like the Bobba trees and lantern fruit for sustainable food in your Cyclops and bases
There's a few pieces of individual Kyanite around to scan and collect entering the volcanic. But, the safe go to would be the 1200 M Alien base,; make sure to bring 2 purple tablets with you though. you can fabricate another if you have none left, it's diamond and energy cubes I believe. Good luck
Do please scan before you collect though. you may drop a piece of Nickel Ore or Kyanite, then scan, then collect and store. new biome, new fish and Alien stuff. it may look similar, but new fish survive the depths. new information on the creatures and Lore goes on and on.. the Lore of Subnautica goes DEEPER.. Subnautica Below Zero continues the story, its good on it's own, but a great follow up on the franchise. half of the community are divided by wether its a good sequel or wether it was not.. but yeah , It's up to you to decide. It's your gameplay

The scanner room at 900 down with 4 range upgrades is a huge bonus, In so many ways.

Orange tablet, go to the 500M Degassi proposed habitat. It's near the balloon pods with the crab squids @1:42:47

The Leviathan respawns so no amount of killing will desimate the eco system.. sadly your on the middle prey side
Hate to say it but you may want to get your cyclops down into the bone zone (lost river) as you may want your cyclops for that lava bit you went into

@CraigTheBrit yes I lts not nessecary but it's very usefull. Also don't forget it acts like a base so you also respawn there
im pretty sure that silent running on the cyclops drains more power. Just thought id let you know because i dont think you knew alredy
