Aww, I have this mental image of Danse sitting in a lawn chair by the river and drinking down a lukewarm nukacola while he tries fishing. He's totally the type, too.
It's actually pretty simple to give soda a light chill to it. Simply keeping it low to the ground and in the dark (like in a box under a bed) is enough to keep is pleasantly cold. Not ice-cold obviously, but it's a lot better then it being warm.
me who has ice cold nuka cola from the DLC, their so RARE. like i only got 2 of them, and i have hunted my way across the wasteland looking for them, i think the only other way to cool them is via the robot but i haven't figured out how yet

This is the most normal statement I've ever heard from Danse. I'm curious too are there any good fishing spot in the world? Far Harbor might be an interesting choice.

There's fish in the shallow water in far harbour.
There's a guy living outside Covenant who is fishing outside the Compound.
There is mention made by an NPC in Far Harbor of a mythical ghoul whale, and a cut side-quest entitled 20 Leagues Under The Sea would suggest other undersea life was going to be included at some point (the quest would seemingly have involved the player going to an underwater vault).
I think it’s possible in far harbor, I’ve seen animations where the NPC is gutting fish from a net

I'm surprised the rats and radroaches didn't just eat all that fish 200 years ago; and even if they hadn't, you'd think it all would've rotted away into nothing but bones by this point. I mean, the houses and cars and canned food I can understand surviving for 210 years because of lead-based paints and preservatives, but this was a factory full of freshly dead fish. How is there even a stink left after more than two centuries of sitting around in the open?

Radroaches managed to get into vault 101 before james did a dick move and escape.
Fallout 4 is very inconsistent, it says it takes place 200 years ago yet several things in the game such as the fish factory you see hear point yo it being not too long after the bombs fell, yet other things such as the brotherhood and the institute couldn't be built overnight, but it's a game, a very inconsistent game but a game nevertheless

Then the Sole Survivor and their family were in cryostasis for around 160 years give or take, until the Institute discovered Shaun’s existence. They broke into the vault, unfroze the occupied pods in the room, and quickly found the pod Shaun was in. The Sole Survivor is unfrozen a second time 10 years after the events of FO3. The Brotherhood of Steel was formed directly after the bombs fell by the remnants of the American Army, and the Railroad was formed 21 years before the events of FO3.

+Zomb Iedrd You know, I've played sneaky too, and have found that certain companions don't majorly impede stealth and some have actually prevented me from getting caught. Dogmeat is generally the most useful, since he's somewhat hard to detect and his first action when caught is usually to hold the nearest enemy in place for an easy headshot or backstab. As long as you're not with robotic or FEV companions you should be reasonably safe from detection.
And this guy Preston Garvey of course would eat soup inside of a 200 year old fish packing building

I never stop being amazed by how rich the Fallout world is. How much details they put everywhere: notes, terminals, little stories, so much varieties of dialogues, random encounters.. I can't even count it all. It literally feels like a real huge world as I'm still discovering a lot
