Imo, the neuro’s spirit leech active should be changed to affect all factions’ units, with an extra heal bonus for xenos (like incisus’ active has a bonus for imperials). Then thats allsorted
i think snowprint should shift their focus on chaos or xenos factions, i know that imperium is the most fleshed out of alliances but it would be cool to see Harlequins, Dhrukari, Votann (dunno if they are considered part of the imperium), Emperor's Children and even dedicated daemon armies for all chaos gods.
I think that is hilarious that the Blood Angels, historically a red themed chapter, are speculated to have Dante and sanguinary Guard, both in gold, a priest, in white, and a death company, in black
But see that’s the thing, death korps are an Astra regiment, so would they be a part of the Astra militarum (setting a bigger limit of characters per faction), or be their own faction in the game? Sorry for the long comment

It would a great opportunity to come up with some story mode representing Devastation of Baal (Blood Angels vs Tyranids). This is one of the most epic battles in the Lord. Regarding characters, I agree with you, Dante, Mephiston and Sanguinary Guard almost for sure. Then there are Sanguinary Priest (Corbulo?), Chaplain (Astorath?) or even the mythical Lemartes leading Death Company. The Sanguinor could also be a very interesting option in my opinion.
The real question is if they will they be the next campaign faction? SP says each new campaign should have a new faction but if BA are getting a LRE does that rule them out for a campaign.
I don’t think it would rule them out as much as just delay the mirror campaign release until after LRE #3. Eldar had 2 LRE characters that had to finish up their final events before they became farmable in saim hann mirror
Would be nice if they fixed existing issues first, like: - the lack of missions for saim hann mirror - the abysmal requisition progress requirements - number of requisition scroll one can earn - the lack of campaigns for death guard, tau, tyranids, sororitas, space wolves, admech - missing characters from Admech, tyranids, dark angels - the internet connectivity bug - onslaught replayability - various characters needing a rework Just to name a few
I was looking at lre planner yesterday for Ragnar and and at the top was blood angels upcoming. Not surprised. Awesome but as many said, we need more xenos and chaos. Death company will be great. Would love furioso but don't know if too small for mow and too big. For regular. Maybe raid? Thank you!!

I'm a life long BA player. But seems weird to me that they would release an army so similar back to back with world eaters. Like they easily could have used Kharnes attacking friends trait for death company, tons of similarities. Just hope they have meta characters if they are released so I can use them in our guild raids regularly.
There was stir when they released Azrael as epic and if I remember correctly they couter with phrase that they have already someone as or more worthy for DAs so I expect that final one will be legendary. But since DAs had also been designated as "special" it might not be usual LRE. As for new faction - I just had to be even more picky who I lvl up since resources comes slower than characters and after I got Rotbone in GWs, Kharn from LRE I left Asmodai and all other World Eater at stone 1 rank - I just cant fit "only average" into my lvling queue and with it, a bit sadly, comes absence of thrill for new faction - I most likely not lvl (and thus not play) them hower cool they might be unless they are OP and overshadow existing chars (and here I hope that will not be case or not for more than 1) and even then replacing D2-D3 chars you already have doesnt happen overnight.
Hoping to have at least 3 jump pack marines in the faction, one of them being a chaplain. I think this faction deserves 3 named characters, with Dante Mephiston and Lemartes. Lemartes is rumoured to have a new model released when the BA get updated in the tabletop, so I hope both things overlap. Otherwise we’ll only get Dante and Mephy, which I guess is good enough. Just not as good as if Lemartes is in.
Really hoping we get the Parasite of Mortrex released soon! Seems like they’ll start Blood Angels releases before finishing Dark Angels, so the new legendary event will probably be for BA. I love the faction synergy they’re building with DA though, so it would be nice to see that faction finished soon too.
I think Dante and Mephiston are both good shouts, and at least one of the two will be in. If Dante is in, then maybe a sanguinary guard won’t be a character as they both are fairly similar (golden, flying, elite blood angels). Pretty sure a death company unit is 100% going to be in, whether it be someone that’s actually part of the death company or someone that could summon them like Lemartes.
If we get Dante as Chapter Master as a LRE, then I would wonder why did Snowprint do the Dark Angels and Azrael so dirty? Azrael is also a chapter master, yet he did not get a LRE, cuz he is only Epic...
In my head all LREs have been in preparation for the Mephiston LRE but recently I was thinking he’s OP enough to be a guild raid boss. It would be a shame as I love the character, but he would be fun as an imperial boss.

I am still really bummed that Tyranids get the Parasite of Mortrex rather than Old One eye as a Legendary. Like I know we just got the Biovore, especially when Death Leaper was kinda a bit weird with the rest of the nids play style. Even NeuroTyrant would have been cool. Idk Parasite just isn't as cool as some of the nids other units.

For the Dark Angels, I think Belial is a good candidate but I could see one of the Inner Circle as well to compete with the Black Templar Champion. Dark Angels have no summons. It would be really cool if they gave us a Ravenwing Biker that could summon brothers similar to Bellator, jink incoming fire as long as they moved "x" spaces and charge through enemies such as Tanksmasha.
For this datamining to be more convincing, it would need to show a bunch of items representing pictures of half of the galaxy, all covered in “Horus” and “Killlllll”
I predict either a Jump Pack Intercessor or Death Company marine as the first, a Sanguinary Guard member (maybe with the banner from the kit?), and three named characters: Mephiston (Epic), The Sanguinor (Legendary), and Dante (Legendary). Its great to see them coming to tacticus in the near future tho!

Naaaahhh, I can quite easily see Mephiston's psychic attack being the only ranged attack in the faction, Death Company are thematically strongly melee focused. I'm actually not sure if we'd get Dante AND a Sanguinary guard, since he LEADS the Sanguinary Guard. Maybe he could summon them like Bellator? Or maybe like Celestine, but that would probably make the two too similar. I'd like to submit the idea of a Death Company Chaplain, to channel the Black Rage of the Death Company, maybe again as a summon. Lemartes would also make a good Named Character for the faction.
I would quite enjoy a BA flamer or melta dude, maybe a flamer ability similar to the BT pyreblasters in octarius/ octarius mirror campaign. Or the 1st company captain in terminator armour with a storm bolter and thunder hammer.
As a bit of additional information, the Sanguinor appears to be being removed from the GW website, and will likely be receiving an update in the coming months. GW will likely be pushing for a release of the brand new model in this game, I'd say it's a very safe bet that the Sanguinor is coming to Tacticus fairly soon.
I would really like to see less new character releases and instead SP finish out the existing factions and create mission tracks for the factions that dont have any.
I thought there was already an avatar silhouette for the 5th tyranid in the avatar selection window, making it the default BP card for August 2024, but maybe I've seen wrong... Anyway, looking forward to future LREs as usual, they're my favourite content in the game. EDIT: no, I checked back and it's just Tyrant Guard, which at this point maybe could still be the SP card for August... but nothing to do with Parasite coming soon.
the only logical blood angels legendary character should be Dante... 1000+ years of service to the emperor and probably the only (?) character who has met 2 ( or 3 if u count visions ) primarchs in the 41st millenium.... if no dante then... they shouldnt release blood angels at all

Dante and Mephiston are a good lore wise parallel to Azrael and Asmodai. A Black Knight would be a cool 5th Dark Angel but I would kill for Belial.

I wouldn´t call Dante equivalent to Calgar. Calgar reigns over the realm of Ultramar (or so he did till Papa Smurf returned - praise be!). But that may just be my inner Codex Astartes talking.
Also (at least some) Blood Angels need Jump Packs. A Sanguinary Priest with one would be cool as hell

Jokes aside, I can see potentially 5 flying characters (if they bake in mephiston's wings of fire). The ones you've already mentioned, plus astorath (?) and/or lemartes.
My simple man guess from the mines would be that the next Legendary and the first Blood Angel will be Dante. EDIT: Just watched the video. Seems like I'm very unoriginal.🤷♂
Naaaahhh, I can quite easily see Mephiston's psychic attack being the only ranged attack in the faction, Death Company are thematically strongly melee focused. I'm actually not sure if we'd get Dante AND a Sanguinary guard, since he LEADS the Sanguinary Guard. Maybe he could summon them like Bellator? Or maybe like Celestine, but that would probably make the two too similar.
I'd like to submit the idea of a Death Company Chaplain, to channel the Black Rage of the Death Company, maybe again as a summon. Lemartes would also make a good Named Character for the faction.
I would quite enjoy a BA flamer or melta dude, maybe a flamer ability similar to the BT pyreblasters in octarius/ octarius mirror campaign. Or the 1st company captain in terminator armour with a storm bolter and thunder hammer.

As a bit of additional information, the Sanguinor appears to be being removed from the GW website, and will likely be receiving an update in the coming months. GW will likely be pushing for a release of the brand new model in this game, I'd say it's a very safe bet that the Sanguinor is coming to Tacticus fairly soon.
I would really like to see less new character releases and instead SP finish out the existing factions and create mission tracks for the factions that dont have any.

I thought there was already an avatar silhouette for the 5th tyranid in the avatar selection window, making it the default BP card for August 2024, but maybe I've seen wrong... Anyway, looking forward to future LREs as usual, they're my favourite content in the game.
EDIT: no, I checked back and it's just Tyrant Guard, which at this point maybe could still be the SP card for August... but nothing to do with Parasite coming soon.

the only logical blood angels legendary character should be Dante... 1000+ years of service to the emperor and probably the only (?) character who has met 2 ( or 3 if u count visions ) primarchs in the 41st millenium.... if no dante then... they shouldnt release blood angels at all
Would make sense, since BA are rumored to be one of the next codexes in wh40k
