Who is Ruth Paine? How was she involved with Lee Harvey Oswald and JFK?

  • Ruth Paine was a friend of Marina Oswald, wife of Lee Harvey Oswald, who was living with her at the time of the JFK assassination. According to four government investigations, Lee Harvey Oswald stored the 6.5 mm caliber Carcano rifle that he used to assassinate U.S. President John F. Kennedy in Ruth Paine's garage, unbeknownst to her and her husband, Michael Paine.
This is the "official" story but is there more to her involvement?

    Editor's Note:
Werner von Braun and Slave Labor at Dora - Mittelbau Camp
The Dora-Mittelbau camp was originally a subcamp of Buchenwald. Allied air raids on German industrial complexes pushed Nazi authorities to use concentration camp prisoners to construct underground tunnels to house factories and development facilities for the V-2 missile program and other experimental weapons. In October 1944, the SS made Dora-Mittelbau an independent concentration camp with more than 30 subcamps of its own. The secret, underground portion of the factory complex was operated by using a slave labor force of concentration camp prisoners. The prisoners were forced to construct the rockets along an improvised assembly line made of railroad tracks. The mortality rate was higher than at most other concentration camps. Many of the prisoners were massacred by the Germans as they camp was evacuated in the spring of 1945. The camp was liberated by American forces in April. Chester Boone was a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army detachment that took command of the factory after the liberation. Chester’s group oversaw the removal of the 120 remaining V-2 rockets and the preliminary dismantling of the factory for six months, until it came under Soviet control, with the postwar partition of Germany between allied forces.
The inmates at Dora-Mittelbau were treated in a brutal and inhumane manner, working 14-hour days and being denied access to basic hygiene, beds, and adequate rations. Around one in three of the roughly 60,000 prisoners who were sent to Dora-Mittelbau died.
At the end of 1943, the Dora work squads had "the highest death rate in the entire concentration camp system".

My father was a black soldier who actually helped liberate some of those concentration camp prisoners in WW2. Ironically, when he came HOME from the war he went to work for an aircraft defense contractor named FAIRCHILD HILLER. That company's President was WERNER VON BRAUN. Yep, my father ended up working for a Nazi. You can't make this stuff up.

My graduate school program director at University of Minnesota bragged in our graduate program newsletter that his "personal mentor" was Werner von Braun. So I pointed out in my University op-ed for the MN Daily that Werner von Braun had personally supervised mass slave labor. So this professor Art Harkin emailed me stating only, "I will personally make sure you are never published in MN Daily again." Strangely he co-organized a JFK assassination conference with U of MN Professor Jim Fetzer (they both were director of Liberal Studies graduate program, Fetzer in Duluth and Harkin in Twin Cities). Peter Dale Scott attended that JFK conference and told me that he and a group of others had to disown Fetzer since the disinfo at that conference was too strong. Dale Scott also told me that "I would be careful if I was you."

I took issue with the comments made at the beginning about Ruth Paine wanting to learn Russian even though she was teaching it at the time. Not only do people often teach languages which are not their native tongue (especially Americans teaching Russian in the US in the 50s or 60s) but not being native makes them want to take every opportunity to increase their knowledge in their field of expertise. What better way of doing that, then living with a native speaker. That would also explain, why they always spoke Russian with each other as Ruth Paine probably saw it as an opportunity to improve. I myself teach three languages, one of which is Italian, which is not one of my native tongues. Despite having lived in Italy for a decade and being fairly fluent in Italian, I still welcome every opportunity to practise my Italian whenever I meet a native speaker.
My comment is not meant as a general criticism of the stream or as a counterarguments to the arguments presented within this stream but merely as food for thought on this one particular issue.

I dont think Ms. Paine was buying a bill of groceries every other day, I think it was just a few items here and there. If I want to go to the store everyday, I will!
May have been uncommon for some people, but not for others. Michael Paine's mother was a $Forbe$. Ruth could afford it. Sure she is strange and lanky, quaker, secretive, etc., whatever , but damn.

So you actually believe the U.S. secret service were at odds with the CIA and FBI ? You have to be joking. Some Secret Service people were in on the plot , and as in Germany if anyone who knew JFK was going to be hit and said nothing half of the U.S. goverment would have been rounded up , but there was no one left in the US goverment not involved. The FBI and CIA were in it up to their necks , they were both principle plotters , the FBI is covering it up till this day. Total scum.

You should def watch the formerly banned/ recently re-released to public controversial film, “Executive Action,” which combined w/ Oliver’s filmography gives you a clear picture. However, the film mentioned takes place from perspective of the “conspirators” and Former Outfitt-connected Chicago officer Richard Cain being the middle man being the mob, millionaires, politicians, and assassin-hit-teams, which included training the recruits and putting the plan together. Shows General Walker’s “fictionalized version, known as “Gen. Keyhoe,” and his major dis-illusionment w/ the situation that he still wore his military uniform throughout the whole training camp, as if his paranoia led him to believe he was some kind of war hero, sectetly protecting his country, from a commie sympathizer!! Crazy accurate for a film made only a decade after the event, leading to Cain’s murder prior to the premier in a suspicious manner. Funny thing was, the assassin(s) set him up by luring him back to Chicago w/ false pretenses of exhanging “the best quality film of the assassination in record” for him and his mentor, former mob-boss Giancana to be allowed back into the US/ hometown Chicago, along w/ re-entry, as they were both in exile in South America for a few years. This was supposedly the film retrieved and sold to the elites that’s POV is from the corner of TSBD facing the knoll, to possibly record Mac Wallace and/or James Files, etc firing the kill shot on request of of Sam Giancana.

A man who done mind control traveled 2000 miles to give Ruby a flu shot, then Ruby died right before testifying. A 100 year old woman who visited Ruby said it was lies, that Ruby was poisoned. All this stuff smells mob. I am 67 years old. I saw live on tv Oswald shot. First live execution on tv. I got out of bed & wanted to see oswald moved on my small tv on fireplace I watched Oswald shot. Fascinating, you made my day, you may be the first one to realize this evidence, I wonder how your evidence escaped the truth seekers. Common sense says check out anything unknown for your kids. Ruth is one smart cookie, she should have checked the gun, maybe Ruth was lying. She lied on tv saying she barely knew Russian. I wonder why Marina would keep silent of the gun to Ruth, or if Marina assumed Ruth knew of gun, but that would make Marina knowing of the gun seem to be unsafe with Ruth's kids. Ruth was hesitant & didnt try to hard to find a lawyer for Oswald, because Ruth had little feelings for him. Then think how Marina feels if Ruth told Marina she had feelings for Marina, but didnt have feelings for Marina & Marina's kids, by not trying too hard to find a lawyer for Oswald. That makes no sense. The guy who made the movie, I believe all he says. But the story of CIA George who knew Paines, I dont find enough evidence to make me believe on. George handed Oswald to Paine,s. George committed suicide the day he was to testify. Ruth wanted Oswald not to talk. A pic with Oswald in army with CIA digging ditches. Bookstore owner knew CIA, & may have known when JFK I am going to arrive to meet Oswald. Ruth got Oswald job, but ignored better job for Oswald. @@JimGlover1I never heard of Paine's until 3 months ago, when the 3 latest videos came out, like they were waiting for witnesses to die to guarantee their safety. One thing odd is exactly how long, why, & when were the Paine's separated, it wasnt long. Ruth Paine's kids were always with her, but not with her the night before the assassination. Camping equipment sounds like a lie. Ruth really knew were the gun was & kept kids out of garage. The cops entered, Marina told cops, Ruth didnt know of gun, the gun was gone. If there was a plan, the gun would have to be put somewhere handy. I bet they knew the gun was there, but it was really put up high for awhile. But any reasonable parent would check all of Oswalds belongings, there could be poison, fishhooks, paint. I think they checked Oswald belongings & kept the kids away from the garage. Oswald had a rooming house, but stayed with Ruth on the weekends for 2 months. Maybe the Paine's knew the gun was gone. I bet Nichael was lying about what was in the bag. I bet nothing was in the bag for too long. Thats why the kids played there. There was also the guy who drove Oswald to work, his sister & people where Iswald worked. The FBI found a file cabinet in Paine garage with hundreds of names of I think of People who liked Castro. I wonder if Paine hated Oswald handing out flyers. And why Paine's were separated at this thrilling time. Trump released information that Oswald probably went to the Cuban Embassy in Mexico. I wonder who taught Oswald all this stuff. There is weak evidence that Marina was in a government sex scandal. Russia helped Castro. Ruby was a gunrunner to Castro haters. Oswald in pic with some CIA in ditch. You have a point that if Ruth & Michael didnt trust Oswald, that surely she'd check his belongings for the kids safety. Marina knew there was a dangerous gun & forgot to tell Ruth is absolutely rediculous & unbelievable. One doesnt leave a rifle unlocked for a thief to break in to shoot one with it. Michael & Ruth stayed close together their whole lives, he died 2 years ago. One would assume they never hid anything from each other & why did they stay together. Ruth had an almost photographic memory. I wonder if Ruth told news she thought Oswald was trouble, if she really wanted him out of the way. Michael Paine was asked to talk to Oswald in jail, but I cant find proof. Cant find proof Ruth in late fifties took in Russians as a quaker. The movie maker says she was kicked out of South America, being accused as a spy.

The Conspirators were beyond a doubt the most incredibly thorough planners the likes of which we have never before or since seen! So many details, literally HUNDREDS (thousands really), both big and small, executed with pure precision and brilliance. And I suspect we don't even know the half of it. Least not yet! Oswald acted alone? Impossible I say! Impossible! 😂

Ditto. I was 10 when it happened. I don’t know if I’m being pulled into or out of a rabbit hole by you two. I would be keenly interested in your critique of Vincent Bugliosi’s “Reclaiming History”, a refutation of conspiracy theories. Did Mr. Bugliosi have some conflict of interests or dark motivations for his staunch pro Warren Commission stance? I know the book came out before the updated autopsy findings. Regardless, Mr. Groubert you are one hell of a raconteur.

Great episode. Ruth and her husband have a backstory/legend that is inconsistent with their family background in intelligence, a hallmark of CIA protocol, and just like.....Lee Oswald!! Ruth Paine got Lee the job at the TSBD and then didn't even tell him when she got another call with a job for Lee that paid almost double?? The husband of the lady and children whom she was so concerned about their well-being and she wanted their dad/sole supporter to have a job making half as much money. Oh, and Lee owned a spy camera with all the extra gimmicks that would have cost Lee over three months gross salary. Clearly given to him by a handler. To make him think he was in an operation to take out Castro perhaps? Lee was a Patsy. He didn't say "I am innocent, I wasn't involved, I don't understand". He said "I am just the Patsy," in a disgusted tone. He knew what had happened and the CIA flipped the script on him. Why didn't the FBI put Lee's call from the jail out to Nag's Head to the retired Army officer who was the head of the false defector program? I don't think he was really Lee's handler, but Lee sure thought he was.

Ruth was what we called back in the day an "FOC", a Friend of the Company......she furnished the "master of the gun" , probably LBJ's boy Wallace, with the Carcano----he wasn't competent enough to be a shooter, his job was to obtain the rifle from Ruth, fire at least 3 rounds, then proceed to the TSB Suppository (PVT Snowball FMJ) , pile some boxes up to look like a sniper's nest, drop the shells on the ground, the "hide" the gun nearby. Wallace's prints were on the boxes, a custodian in the records bldg saw a guy fitting Wallace's description piling up the boxes. He also saw that person leave the TSBD and enter a waiting car. gl

Of course his print would be at the book depository. Oswald worked there.
How could he snuggle the rifle? The package was not to have any oil on it from the rifle. No holes in the paper. The barrel is made of steel. Which would have pierced the paper. Plus he was able to tuck the package under his arm and into his hand. Unless Oswald was an orangutan. The pieces are too long to be tucked under his arm and into his hand. .

@@aaronz7056 you need to watch Jim marrs and Jim fetzer's speeches on the Kennedy assassination. The autopsy also showed photos of Kennedy's head having a huge defect in the right rear. The Dallas doctors all witnessed a huge defect in Kennedy's right rear. And a 3 to 4 millimeter hole in the throat just above the Adam's apple. Plus there were 2 shots into Kennedy's back. And also John Connelly was buried with more lead in his wrist than missing from the magic bullet. John Connelly always said even up to his death. He was not hit by the same bullet as Kennedy. Why would he scream out they're going to kill us all? Did Connelly have prior notice. Probably yes. He was very close to LBJ. Madeline Duncan Brown was one of LBJ's lovers. And she said I'm paraphrasing. LBJ said those Kennedy boys won't be a problem after tomorrow. That's not a threat it's a promise. The Zapruder film itself is proof it was edited. Zapruder himself said he began filming once the limo turned onto Houston street. The movie has crude editing. Jim Fetzer had film professionals look over the film. Their conclusions where the film is heavily edited.
