Thanks for posting that. It was bugging me too. Having watched your video, I was able to pop the spring back in without dismantling it. Wouldn’t have known where to find the receiver without seeing it dismantled here though. Nice1 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks for all your t5 videos! They help a lot! Do you have any suggestions about when and how to clean/empty the diesel particle filter?
Yes I do :) What are the symptoms ? Glow plug light or engine light coming on or is it going into limp mode and you have to turn off and on to clear it etc ?
Thanks for the feedback on the vids. You can do it.
@@youcandoit1828 Thanks for the reply! So far there is nothing. But I have 150.000 km in the clock and I want to do something before it is stuffed. Also there is some kind of airflow noise. Very quiet, but it wasn't there before. Maybe the AGR valve?
@@simonb3280 Ok don’t worry about the mileage. The main culprit for blocking the Particle Filter is not getting the engine and exhaust hot . Eg when you do lots of shorts runs. If you’ve done 150k and no issues you must be doing long runs which is great. Don’t worry about it.
Have you VCDS Software? If you are serious about sticking with VAG vehicles buy it. You need it to read the ECU and make changes. With the software you can also make the engine do a Particle Filter clean out. So you never have to worry about clogging the PF. Trust me I had a Touareg 3.0 V6 PF completely stuffed. VCDS allowed me to run an auto regenerate of the filter and clear it out. Dealers will always tell you you need a new PF but you can always clean them out with VCDS.
Airflow noise. I can’t really help here could be anything. Check to see if it’s when you are pressing the accelerator as it could be a leak in the pressured air flow pipes from the Turbo.
You can do it .
