I live next to Brazil, I'm studying medicine and I met a lot of Brazilian studying here because is cheaper, they do 3 or 4 semesters and then they go back to Brazil and open "beauty clinics" and the horror stories I have heard 😬
A 27 year old man died in a beauty clinic a couple of months ago here in Brazil after doing a fenol peeling. The aesthetician that did the procedure finished an online fenol peeling course 1 day after his death. His boyfriend was with him and they did everything to delay calling an ambulance. Those cases arent THAT common here tbf, but they do happen.
@@luancosta199 there is a lot of cases that aren't that extreme that happen a lot and are very well know in our circles, no news worthy. Very sad. BTW the use PMMA is illegal here, idk how it is in Brazil.
FYI Filler doesn’t completely stay. Like before when it was said it completely gets metabolized, some metabolizes, some may migrate, and some (more than we would expect) doesn’t resorb over time. Migrations happen, yes, but it depends on the area, the filler, the technique, the individual, etc. This is just another reason to not shop around for these services. Nonsurgical treatments still can have severe complications, which your provider should be discussing with you prior to treatment. Filler in *small amounts* can still be artfully placed. It may need touched up in 6 months or a year, or could not need touched up for several years. If filler is migrating, this also should be addressed *By your provider* prior to adding any more. Hope this helps anyone interested in these treatments. PS The lymphnodes can be blocked but is typically with under eye filler. * Well this is all for educated, skilled, qualified, and ethical medical professionals so take this all with a grain of salt.
Did Anjelika say it completely stays? I thought she just said it doesn't completely disappear through reabsorption, like most people used to think, or still believe.
I really don't want to victim-shame, but the girl who went to Spain and wasn't given English consent form, why didn't she leave? Why would you want to do it in a country when you don't speak that language? That's as if I was going to France to get a haircut, I wouldn't do that and that isn't even harmful to my body? I feel sad for the mother who has passed away and had to leave 5 children behind.

Every time I hear someone gets a cosmetic procedure, that wasn’t brought on because of an accident.. such as a fire or a car accident. My heart shatters. Listen I am so supportive in the front of do what you want. It’s your body, and girl do what you need. But I cry because I just wish everyone could love themselves as they are. I feel like we all deserve that peace and self love. Once again I’m not shaming anyone for getting procedures. It just breaks my heart that probably a lot of them get it because they have insecurities. Because of all these bs beauty standards. I myself struggle to love myself I truly do. I can’t imagine the pain of those who are desperate to change. This world is so hard on us already. And some times we are our biggest enemy. I’m wishing love to everyone.
I was a 90lb teenage girl with H cup breasts, sorry but getting a reduction wasn't about not loving myself lol. I'm against the makeup and plastic surgery industry selling our own insecurity back to us (never will buy make up, it's just a tool to triangulate us against ourselves for the approval of men, used against us or else we're not "professional" or we don't care about "putting in an effort" etc.) but there's other reasons than insecurity for some of this.
Very strange to think that you, a stranger, are going to cry for me having had some cosmetic procedures and am now happy with my body. Please get some therapy to get over your over-attachment to my body.
I know that people make mistakes and all, but genuinely who the fuck is paying someone to do cosmetic procedures on them IN A HOUSE???? How do you fall so far 😭
I don't know a delicate way of saying but unintelligent people fall for the lies that they are getting a discount when the procedure / surgery is done in their house (or other dodgy none sanitized place) as they aren't paying for overheads and other costs. So I don't think the necessarily fell, unless they were dropped on their head as a baby!
I’m so sorry to say this because obviously I’m aware that this woman died, BUT, she’s a mother. She had 5 little lives depending on her and she went to this person who lets be real, looks like he shouldn’t be anywhere near anything cosmetic ever! And she asked him to do one of the world’s deadliest procedures. This is completely and utterly irresponsible on her part. When you have children, you don’t put yourself at greater risk for anything. Example: I’m a mother of 2. And I Hike. I climb mountains for fun. My favourite is Snowdon. I’ve done it several times. Snowdon has 7 different routes up it and 1 of them is super high risk. People die doing it all the time. Someone I know died this year doing it. And because of that I will NEVER. Because as much as I’d love to do all of the routes to the summit, I’m not going to do something that could potentially kill me because I have my babies to think of. This woman didn’t do any research, she went to someone that is clearly not good at what he does, look at him for god sake. And she did it all in the name of vanity. And now her babies don’t have a mother. It’s super sad that she’s dead, but can we please people stop pumping our bodies full of rubbish or putting ourselves at risk in pursuit of something that lets me real, won’t be a thing in a year or 2’s time. Go to therapy and work on your insecurities. Learn to love the skin you’re in. It’s more authentic and attractive.
Yeha and you got people here saying go to therapy as an insult for not praising this shit cause they were happy with their own procedure. Seems kind of odd to me to want( or even care about it at all) everyone to never say anything critical or question it. So everyone gotta to pretend it's all always fine and dandy cause of your procedure working out for you? Why the need,to control that narrative ?people are allowed to talk about the bad side , like dying , so its like mind your own business and let people talk about the cosmetic industry however they want.
I’m all for people doing whatever procedure they want to make themselves feel confident, it’s your body and your choice. HOWEVER, no procedure is worth leaving behind your loved ones and your life.
I’m all for people being able to increase their self esteem with safe options. BUT It absolutely breaks my heart that some people are willing to risk death because their self esteem is so low.
you should cover the eye changing surgery many plastic surgeons are talking about it like Dr. Gary. It’s insane that people are getting this done when you can potentially go blind all to get blue eyes.

The problem is that so many people are being made to think they need a bigger butt. Can we normalize butts of all shapes and sizes and stop being so obsessed with having the perfectly shaped fart delivery equipment?
It’s terrible how plastic surgeons are unfortunately seen as being trustworthy like a medical doctor and that they would have your best interest at heart and your health would be their upmost concern, when actually plastic surgeons are the shady car sales men for the human body.
I've never been under the knife for cosmetic reasons only for surgical reasons. The only "cosmetic" surgery I'm ever going to get is a breast reduction because while I worked retail one of my breasts grew at least two cup sizes. Meaning, I can't even find a bra or clothes that fits me comfortably. Because of that I also got severe body dysmorphia, which led me into a workout addiction and depriving myself of food, which then led me to gaining weight and repeating the cycle... I'll be very happy when I get the surgery and a lot more confident
I’m an EMT in America and BBLs are terrifiying to me. Please, if you are doing ANY medical procedure please do your research and check the credentials of your provider
Also interestingly enough Coronation street is covering a storyline like this atm which I think is fantastic. Those who are lucky to survive end up very badly injured, some needing life long care like stoma bags because of bowel obstructions. Its really tragic.
That is good to hear, storylines in soaps can really help warn people and get the message out to people who are more likely to fall for such scams and dangerous practices.
Filler does wear out. In areas with a lot of movement 6-12 months. I have 6ml in my knee joint every 6 months. By my orthopaedic surgeon. It's identical to lip filler
This is sad and crazy. I actually saw this type of BBL done before on another UA-camr. She got it because she got shot, almost died, but survived and lost a lot of muscle/fat in one of her buttocks. So she gets it to bring back the muscle/fat she lost, but she got it done by someone who is actually licensed to do this type of procedure.
People are literally getting them done awake, a lot of black women who even if the trend for y’all is gone will always feel the pressure to have a big butt
For years I was going to get lip filler (just a small amount on my top lip as it’s small, my mom had to have surgery done years ago in the 80’s/90’s because she hardly had lips at all. I don’t know what the procedure was and she passed when I was 22 so I can’t ask but I know it wasn’t fillers, it was a surgery) and now I’m so so glad I never got the filler. I’m 36 now and honestly my lips look fine. I was just young and insecure. I’ll use plumping gloss (omg I miss DuWop soooo much) on my top lip but not often. And I wear lipstick daily 🤷🏻♀️.
I kind of have that ”patch” too, but I’ve never had any filler in my entire life 😅 (With that said, I’m not saying Kylie isn’t looking “lumpy” in some places, I’m just saying those patches could be a genetic/aging thing too.)
liquid bbl are so dangerous and are advertised like it’s completely risk free due to being non invasive . Most time it’s advertised like it that is just like getting topped up on lip filler and can be done on your lunch break. I get them advertised all my Facebook most times it’s done by beauty therapist.
No not even just obvious common Sense thing you are supposed to be more mindful of stuff and the things you do when you have kids to care for very obvious she only cared about herself
I can’t understand why women put themselves through elective surgery. Maybe having six brothers I don’t feel that kind of pressure and I always had the impression men are not in short supply. I always said I’d think about it if I couldn’t stand looking at myself in the mirror but although I’m older, I’m not there yet. We shouldn’t have to work this hard surely, if a man has clean fingernails and smells good we think he’s fine. Am I going mad or completely missing something? X
Though some of the procedures were only done with a needle. The other ones, surgery is surgery, there's always a risk for complications and death. Surgery for me, would only for life saving measures or due to injuries.
Here in Brasil in the last couple of years, these types of plastic surgeries are becoming more popular, it wasn't before. The goal of the surgery is to get the stereotypical Brazilian butt, and although many people already have the body, plastic surgery is in, so "I have to have one". As far as I know, the "brazilian" in the BBL name is more of the inspiration for the result than the origin of the procedure.
If they are actually using conventional face filler, that will wear off and need top ups at least every year. It would take 100s of mls of filler to do it. Most are probably using silicone & not disclosed it.
It’s a thicker type of filler and generally the smallest amount is 1000ml for a non surgical bbl but definitely depending on situation it can be 2000ml
Kylies unfiltered face is just normal though, my face has never have filler and I have the same skin as her under my eyes and my smile lines. I am not defending her obviously but it is actually hard to figure out where filler can migrate as its not just all surface level. Also theres many new types of filler so if you do decide to get filler please research which one is actually going to disolve and which are full of "artificial fillers" which will not disolve completely and migrate to cause that puffy look.
Why is "maybe she didn't know" an excuse? We have access to every information possible on our fingertips, it should be our responsibility to do at least some research before getting surgery

The only case that ik was international news was one with a brazilian girl who did 4 semesters here in Paraguay, she left and opened a beauty clinic, she injected PMMA to an influencer called Aline Marie and ualived her. Very sad. BTW the use PMMA is illegal here, idk how it is in Brazil.
@@luancosta199 when I say no news worthy I mean more like botched stuff
Me: oh the uk has a “botched” show, too!
The Uk Botched: it’s just Botched lol
What I find mad that people get fillers and Botox to look younger but end up looking older
I don't understand how people can throw all their morals and integrity out the window for a buck. RIP Alice 🤍
8:16 I almost cannot recognise Kylie in the picture on the right... that is insane.
Seriously. Not trying to shame her but she honestly looks like she is about 45 years old (if not older. I’m trying to be nice)
Sad to see people not using their common sense, it's been years since we all know these procedures are dangerous
Well it's natural selection at this point
I’m so over people literally dying to get bbls. They look awful! It never looks natural and in my personal opinion I think it’s extremely ugly and definitely not worth dying over.
Now her children don’t have a mother because she wanted a bigger butt. That’s insane.
@@appalachiabrauchfrau They aren't talking about you then...
Very strange to think that you, a stranger, are going to cry for me having had some cosmetic procedures and am now happy with my body. Please get some therapy to get over your over-attachment to my body.
You haven’t been on my feed for an age for some reason so was pleased when this popped up! 😊 Great video!
So I don't think the necessarily fell, unless they were dropped on their head as a baby!
how about we blame the manipulative and greedy villains taking advantage of people’s insecurities and desperation instead of the actual victims here?
Oh please 🙄. Do they not have a dad?
I’m all for people doing whatever procedure they want to make themselves feel confident, it’s your body and your choice. HOWEVER, no procedure is worth leaving behind your loved ones and your life.
A good esthetician or plastic surgeon knows when to say no to a client. His face shows how well he is able to do that.
angelika’s makeup is so fresh looking in this video… love it sm!
Also Kylie is younger then me and looks 20 years older.. Why are people still getting mass amounts of filler at such young ages!
The issue is you absolutely SHOULD look into any surgery you have done. Elective or otherwise.
I’m so sick of the damn cosmetic procedures istg
I wouldn’t want to be with a man that feels the need to perform plastic surgery on me. That’s crazy to me
So sad but the worst part was that it was almost expected with these BS cosmetic procedures.
Love this series!! I hope it raises some awareness for this under the radar procedures.
I’m all for people being able to increase their self esteem with safe options. BUT It absolutely breaks my heart that some people are willing to risk death because their self esteem is so low.
I waited to watch this cause I didn't know how I'd feel. But you handled insecurities so well, that why I love watching you 😘❤️❤️❤️
you should cover the eye changing surgery many plastic surgeons are talking about it like Dr. Gary. It’s insane that people are getting this done when you can potentially go blind all to get blue eyes.
she put that BBL over those babies
hi Angelika, can you please do a video the IV vitamin drip trend, because as a healthcare professional I find it so weird and troubling that unlicensed people are offering this in beauty salons
This video made me 100000% certain I will never ever be getting any type of filler. And very thankful for the face I have. I can’t imagine the feeling of knowing you permanently damaged your face voluntarily.
Having Angelika refer to something that happened in the county I live in was not on my 2024 bingo card 😅
Kylie ruined her face, she started doing too much to her face while she was so young. She didn't need all of that.
That’s really awful and all I can think of is that one meme song “these BBl’s killing y’all” 😭😭😭
Those poor kids, they’re going to resent her for life and I don’t blame them one bit.
i just feel like "safe" and "cheap" aren't usually things that go hand in hand
As ugly as I am, I would never under go anything like this, I’d rather be naturally ugly that botched.
Wow - excellent and informative video.
Great job!
recently ive been thinking about botox, but i always remember how bad botox can affect you (literal botulism toxin after all lol), and suddenly im fine with my fine lines 😂
I’ve seen botox go SO BAD! It scares me 😭
@@angelikamakeupcould you do a video on that!! a friend is wanting to get preventative botox and that honestly sounds like nonsense the industry made up to me
It’s so sad that people go through these procedures… apart from the risks involved.. it’s morphing everyone into similar looking avatars.
What happened to just being happy with what you’ve got?
This is tragic 😭
I’m an EMT in America and BBLs are terrifiying to me. Please, if you are doing ANY medical procedure please do your research and check the credentials of your provider
i watched cosmetic cowboys and it blew my mind how unregulated things are not just in the us
omg you covering the mother and daughter in houston!! which is where i’m from
Also interestingly enough Coronation street is covering a storyline like this atm which I think is fantastic. Those who are lucky to survive end up very badly injured, some needing life long care like stoma bags because of bowel obstructions. Its really tragic.
That is good to hear, storylines in soaps can really help warn people and get the message out to people who are more likely to fall for such scams and dangerous practices.
I feel sorry for NONE of them !!!! How many times do we heard about some who died from this foolishness!!! Chile boo!!!
Phoebe walking away at the beginning of the video, like 'that enough Internet for me today'
So sad, she was so pretty too. Breaks my heart how many women don't see that they are perfect without it. 💔
Filler does wear out. In areas with a lot of movement 6-12 months. I have 6ml in my knee joint every 6 months. By my orthopaedic surgeon. It's identical to lip filler
I’m Brazilian and we don’t call it that here, I don’t even know how they call it, because I don’t follow anyone who did it lol
It would be so much better if these girls just learned to love themselves. ❤
I need to know where to get your hoodie 😭
Not the “discover Majorca” ad 11:44
I kind of have that ”patch” too, but I’ve never had any filler in my entire life 😅
(With that said, I’m not saying Kylie isn’t looking “lumpy” in some places, I’m just saying those patches could be a genetic/aging thing too.)
NEVER BEEN SO EARLY!!
We have botched in the US too i think.
Well it was only a matter of time sadly
liquid bbl are so dangerous and are advertised like it’s completely risk free due to being non invasive .
It’s irresponsible on your part if you don’t do your own research
"everybody wants what the others working" Orange juice -Melanie Martinez
People are litteraly dying and yet there are still people taking these treatments.
"it's gone into her nose" 😂 No dear.
Is your camera mounted on the ceiling?
I can’t understand why women put themselves through elective surgery. Maybe having six brothers I don’t feel that kind of pressure and I always had the impression men are not in short supply. I always said I’d think about it if I couldn’t stand looking at myself in the mirror but although I’m older, I’m not there yet. We shouldn’t have to work this hard surely, if a man has clean fingernails and smells good we think he’s fine. Am I going mad or completely missing something? X
Just commenting for the algorithm 💙
Though some of the procedures were only done with a needle. The other ones, surgery is surgery, there's always a risk for complications and death. Surgery for me, would only for life saving measures or due to injuries.
Here early OMG!!! ❤🎉
♥️♥️♥️
Here in Brasil in the last couple of years, these types of plastic surgeries are becoming more popular, it wasn't before.
The goal of the surgery is to get the stereotypical Brazilian butt, and although many people already have the body, plastic surgery is in, so "I have to have one".
As far as I know, the "brazilian" in the BBL name is more of the inspiration for the result than the origin of the procedure.
It has less to do with the filler but where the filler was placed.
Does anyone have the link to the study about filler migrating and not dissolving?
If they are actually using conventional face filler, that will wear off and need top ups at least every year. It would take 100s of mls of filler to do it. Most are probably using silicone & not disclosed it.
It’s a thicker type of filler and generally the smallest amount is 1000ml for a non surgical bbl but definitely depending on situation it can be 2000ml
You would make a great Annie cosplay from Attack on Titan 😭🫶🏼
Elders are going to look very , very weird in the future that's for sure 🙃 i pray it doesn't cause anyone pain , illnesses or mobility issues

Its cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery is a medically needed procedure such as skin grafts
Do you have lip fillers ?
