Brand new, never used drivers need to "loosen" up. However all that means is that playing sound will make them loosen up you don't need some software to do it. It's like warming up a car before driving
If I purchased 3.5mm 1more triple drive Is it compatible with iphone 7 plus ??? when i use the adapter that came with my phone is the controller in this earbuds will work ??? Because there is a difference in price close to 50dollar
If u have the regular 1More triple driver with 3.5 auxiliary connector which sounds incredible, would it be worth it to upgrade to the lightning version. I have the iPhone 7 plus n I've using the adapter that came with my phone to use the triple drivers. Is it worth it to get these instead sound wise?
theres a 50 dollar price hike though. plus, on the website, it says that theres a HD DAC on top of the three drivers, thats not in the 3.5mm version. did you notice any difference in sound quality between the two?
Brennan Toh there is a built in DAC that is powered by the lightning connector ... I’ve directly compared the triple drivers (lightning) to the quad drivers (3.5) and the triples with the DAC are in my opinion the better sounding of the two.
Do not buy this item. It has been pulled from production because of mfi issues with apple (incompatibility due to lightning connector). Although the company, knowing this, still sells it on its website. And good luck getting them to exchange or refund the purchase. Buyer beware!!!!
Dave Taylor no i do not. They have not announced this to the public as far as I know (like i said they are still selling the things). When i contacted 1more usa customer service the rep told me this. If you send an email to them i would guess they will tell you the same.
Dave Taylor btw i agree with reviewers in that they sound fantastic and perhaps (likely) the blame is more on the apple side for not playing nice (their MO). I loved my headphones. But they constantly come up with the accessory not supported message and stop playing the track. If you have updated your iphone maybe give them another run and see for yourself.

Very nice review. I'm glad i bought a pair. I was wondering what is the actual benefit of burning in ear buds?
That's a darn good question. I'll ask the vendor and see if they have an explanation. :-)

Zaid Khaled If it's a 3.5mm to lightning cable, then yes. If no then no
The instructions with my new DAC/amp suggested that I use an 'iDevice or better', so I bought an LG V20 ;)
lol, well played!
any other lightning cabled earphone you can recommend?

I don't think there'll be much sound difference. My question is just whether having to use the adapter is annoying to you or not? :-)
The "high quality dac" makes little to no difference. And your loosing volume controls. It's more of a downgrade imo
Its good for misoc but for calls its very bad
is there a difference between these and the 3.5mm version?
Ummm.... the connector? :-) Otherwise, I believe that they're the same unit.

And you have a reference for this, correct? Something you can cite rather than just unsubstantiated accusations? Please leave a link. Thanks.
