      @@MrPirateking619 The Bose QC20 are over-the-ear style, so they're in a completely different category. Generally speaking, you'll get much better sound quality and volume from something like the QC20, but the tradeoff is the higher price and the extra bulk/weight. I'm usually physically active while wearing earphones, so I prefer the smaller & lighter ear bud style as opposed the something like the QC20. It's a personal preference thing. Nothing wrong with the QC20 though, a friend has them and he loves them.

    I own these and they really do sound great!! However, while I appreciate the presentation/packaging, I wish they had given more thought and effort to the cable quality. After two years of very light use (about 10 to 12 hours per WEEK -- not per day) , the cable going into the right earbud began to fray and now they're useless to me. I would expect that to happen in a cheap pair of earbuds. But in this price range, that should not be an issue. I'm going to replace these with a different brand with a detachable/replaceable cable.

    I have the same complaint about the cable pinching and find I'm constantly untangling them. But sound is just outstanding. One curious note: not sure if I was just lucky, but these headphones survived both, a washing and a drying cycle when I left them by accident in some shorts pocket! I don't recommend you trying that but that says something about the durability.

    I have had these earbuds for almost two years. They have great sound, and I have really enjoyed them. The only complaint I have is the wiring which crumples, pinches and doesn’t stay straight. I’m constantly pulling the cables to make them longer. Would love to hear them with an amp. The only other complaint is that they are made in China, wish Japan or US could make something that competes.

    Hello, I have questions about the amps.
    Do I really need them?
    Im considering buying the earphones but should I also buy the amps? I don’t exactly know what they do. But from watching your video, I assume that it is needed for the triple drivers to be somewhat activated? Im not familiar with those.
    Also, if I use the earphones without the amps, does the quality degrade to a normal earphone?
    Thanks! Just a non-techy person passing through

    • @JDubb
      @JDubb  3 роки тому

      Let me try and break it down simply. An amp adds more power, basically when you have a device that has multiple drivers, the normal output from something like a cell phone unless you're using a phone from LG that has a specific power output for music, phones can't quite get the power required to fully activate all three of the drivers which would really allow them to work at full capacity. Getting a small amp to either use of your phone , or one that you can use with your PC or other audio equipment will allow you to fully take advantage of the triple drivers to really get the best quality sound and to be able to get the volume high enough to really experience the sound. In my testing and in this video I mentioned that using it on my phone, worked, but I was unable to get a very high amount of volume. Adding the small amp that I recommended allowed me to get that volume which gives me the full experience of the triple drivers.
      In short an amp gives the headphones the fuel they need to actually produce the highest quality sound. Without it, they will work, but they might not be performing at their optimal abilities

I'm in virtual school so I spend most of my time on a windows 10 pc. I would also like a device I could use on the go, and when I'm excersicing. As long as they stay firm in the ear I don't mind the wire. As said I would be using these for about 8 hrs straight. I need a very comfortable earbud that stays in, (if wireless has like 6 hours of battery life, I can charge em at lunch), and had little to no lag latency. Sound quality is a bonus, but as long as it isn't trash it's ok. Max 200 dollars, though under 150 would be very preferable. If there are any other devices I could use I'd be open to that.
