That performance is really good. For your question regarding Hetfields signature pickups, The HetSet, you will find it in most of his signature model ESP and LTD guitars. You can also buy them and easily put them into the LTD guitar you have there on the wall. I have a couple guitars with the het set, but I also have an "Old" SnakeByte and an "old" Truckster without the HetSet, because those guitars was made before they made the HetSet. I love the HetSet for many reasons. They are active powerful pickups, but the can also sound a bit warm when using the neck pickup.
My guitar on the wall has English 81 and 85s which is what they used to use before the hey had a signature series at least that’s what I hear

@@ReactionGenX Yes! Those are really good as well. In my old SnakeByte and Truckster there are EMG 81/60.
It's cool seeing Kirk play a Flying V. Usually the Flying V or Explorer style guitars is more a James deal. I don't think I've ever seen Kirk play a Flying V before. Maybe a really early video from the 80's. Mainly see him play Strats/Super Strat style or a Les Paul like "Greeny" .
I found a bunch of picks online with him playing a black and white Flying V from the 90s
