This is the true definition of a Homage. Don’t get me wrong, I love my San Martin Clomages, but this is what a Homage is supposed to be. Although I think I can pull off the 42, I still prefer the 39. It’s a great watch at either size. Thanks for the great review.
Yeah I’ll keep my eyes on the 39 on 3Bay. Hopefully one in a color I like comes up for sell

Thanks so much! It's a broad price point - for around $300/£250, I like pre-owned Nodus, or other micros like Revelot, Boldr, Lorier, RZE even. Then maybe San Martin if you want the specs but not necessarily any original design. But then if looking at closer to $1000, pre-owned Oris, Christopher Ward, Certina, Hamilton. There's a lot of choice in that price bracket so I hope that helps in some way!
299.00 40mm or 42mm choice Zelos Swordfish. Sapphire crystal, NH35. SS bracelet with screws in links, quick release bracelet with female end links with on the fly quick adjust clasp. I understand "best value" like anything else is subject.
I think they are 399 now but nevertheless they still make some really great watches for the money :)

It looks much like a submariner would if someone went for a jaunt on a time machine and accidentally stepped on a beetle 200 million years ago, among other subtle changes like square pupils for humans and our prehensile tails remaining developed for continued travel in forests

From midsize to 42mm. It got worse 🤣 (just kidding I know large wrists need options too). These watches are a really cool twist on submariner homages, and sadly, the smaller variants are never available.
The 48mm lug 2 lug actually makes it very wearable :)
I've been in this watch hobby too long to know better. A watch of that size will give me wrist pain. Looking forward to the 39. @@Revelot_Official
