Making a Lipless Crankbait
Вставка

- For this 3d printed Fishing lure, I wanted to make a lipless crankbait. This is not a regular crankbait though. This is 4" and painted in salt water colors. I wanted to make a lipless crankbait for striped bass fishing. This bait is still small enough so it should still work for some freshwater species as well. I originally wanted to go with a 5" or 6" version but I decided to make this smaller bait as a proof of concept. This is bait is free to download so please make them yourselves and let me know how it works. Id be happy to tweak it if people have suggestions.

Genius level skill set. It's like you do all the R+D work, and we get to have all the fun! Thanks bro.
Glad you like it and no problem
I can imagine them doing well at Lake Biwa in Japan (or somewhere in Texas/California), for Largemouth. I really have to get going on my SLA.
These baits can be printed on a resin printer but they wont be too efficent. Im working on two new hardbaits developed specificly for resin printing
@@HandCraftedAngling awesome 💯👍
Idk if your still taking recommendations on soft plastic baits but if you are. what about a fluke style jerk bait with the slit cavity on the bottom to hide the hook. Making it less likely to snag.
Sorry for the late reply. Im always looking for new ideas when I get around to them is another story though. Too many projexts to keep up with. Ill deffinitly keep this in mind. I did hook slots on a very large eel bait i made but that never got passed the proto type phase.
What do you think about PC-7 for bonding?
I dont see any reson why that woundt work
@@HandCraftedAngling it's the strongest that I've seen, and sticks to anything. Also a bit pricey.
I haven't had any issues with the cheaper less strong epoxy. Any force of the lure should be pulling directly inline with the body through the hook hangers. There really shouldn't be much rotational force to split the bodies in half.
