Great video. Thank you! The issue I see with some of the more reputable wholesalers is that you need a brick and mortar store in order to buy from them. So for an online only store presence, you're stuck with chinese made cheap tackle from places like aliexpress, etc.
There's really four kinds: spinning, spin-casting, bait-casting and fly rods. You should have them all on the website, but most people like to buy kits. I hope that answers your question. Best, Adella

Also, it’s s about a 4-month process to get your excise tax permit (at least, that’s what it was for me), so apply for that FIRST before starting your fishing tackle business. One more thing. Many tax professionals may not even realize you need an excise tax permit to sell fishing tackle. My accountant, for instance, was clueless. So don’t rely on them for information. Go straight to the IRS, and they are actually really easy to work with for this. However, it does take several months to go through the permitting process. Ralph

Yes you can! Im assuming you have a wix ecommerce plan? You would need to take 3-4 pictures of your fly fishing flies, write the description and decide on the price. Then go into the wix eCommerce shop, add the products into your store for sale. Wix has a customer service line and a help section on their blog that can get you setup. Many people just register a "DBA" (also known as a "Doing Business As") to operate an additional business under a different name. You'll be required to report revenue for all of them under the one LLC, so make sure you keep a track of what's coming in. Hi! If you are already using another webhost, You have 2 options: 1) keep them and find a website developer to create the site on your platform. 2) tell your webhost you want to transfer to bluehost. From their they will give you the steps. Sometimes it’s free, and sometimes it’s $50-$100.

Hi Ahmed, Yes, you can do both. Shopify has their own plugins that allow you to setup a shop. I don't personally build websites on Shopify, only through the method mentioned here in the video. However, anyone from Fiverr ( as mentioned ) can build you a dropship fishing tackle store on Shopify. You or them will need to find you a reliable supplier. If there is not an out of the box integration, you can have them build the dropship store from scratch ( which usually takes more time and money ). Try out wholesale2b, www.pasosdeals.com/wholesale2b If you haven't already they have a large catalog of drosphip products and integrate into Shopify, Woocommerce, and the other eCommerce platforms. In the early stages of dropshipping, an Employer Identification Number (EIN) is not required, but it becomes necessary later for tax purposes. Because you are a legit business, selling to legit customers, accepting real payments and want to be able to report your revenue adequately. ( if you are serious about business ).
