Reuben Rasmussen Totally agree- I literally just got my first fpv and it’s WAY harder than people think. Requires a crazy amount of skill to pull the tricks they do
That's a fact. I lasted about 5 seconds on my first flight and broke 2 props. Immediately invested in a flight simulator and its helped me as a beginner to drones exponentially. Still struggle on dives and small holes but getting cozy with flips and turns.
I can't wait to get my quad, I have a lot to learn, but I am confident I will catch on. Just remember Drew and Steele have hundreds of hours of flight time under their belts to pull off what they do. I will conquer the skies, and hope to be as good as these legends! Drone On!™
Awesome to see another trick series. I remember being brand new and totally learning technique from the RR guys. Thanks Drew/Steele, you guys do a great job of remembering everyone is not at your skill level and being encouraging to them while they learn.
The Rotor Riot boys make it look soooo easy! Definitely harder than it looks and it takes A LOT of practice. In fact that is a great place to practice. Much easier on the quad and surroundings. I remember my first building dive... it didn't end well for the building!
Totally biased but that's the best RR episode ever. Thank you Ledrib/Steele for the turbo confidence to push harder and fly in ways I didn't know I could. To all of you out there in youtube land, dive that gap you've always wanted too. Powerloop those trees. Don't be afraid, yeah it's hard but when you get it..... hello ecstasy!
Ledrib is just making these Europe videos amazing. I keep watching them all just to see him and take in all his positivity! Great guy and a perfect addition to rotor riot
9 months in to FPV... how to land. I am totally serious. I think more people have issues with landing then has been discussed. Mine can be a bit rough. I can dive, swing around things, tricks, etc. But my landings are a little rough. I have noticed on the days where I practice orbits around a pole or tree I land way better? Perhaps its a throttle/mental control issue?
"Completely different personalities " is for sure. Both different. Both awesome. It's all about the "float" with 5 & 6 in. quads. Been getting into 3 in. lately, but they don't float as well with less weight. Those Irish guys didn't seem to get that if you would get a little height you can point it right where you want it at min. throttle. Entertaining as always.
Le Drib cheers man. It's the leveling out, sighting the exit, whilst remaining smooth on the throttle (avoiding propwash) I need to work on. The fear of getting stuck up a tree is off-putting too 😁
Roald Zijsling I'll agree to an extent, but for someone learning, acro right out of the box is a bad action plan...I mean unless you like exploding quads and crying! I learned on horizon mode then am now switching to acro...it's a challenge, so I'm assuming your next level at flying?
Roald Zijsling I feel you, I had zero flight time...so I literally have worked my self up each mode...3 months I feel very smooth in acro now. Just need bigger quads for more power now. Thanks though for some info!!
just got my props i ordered from yall.... actually liked the vek 5x4.3x3, untill i crashed and an esc cought on fuego and a motor came off... but but but... the props??? No damage... wtf!!! So what do yall think on upgrading... have a wizard... and yes, i love it !!
Dudes beard has three colors. I shall call him Calico.(Just google it. lol) Really enjoyed my visit as always. Thanks guys for all your hard work. I believe the hardest work is in the editing. Am I right???? I've only used Windows Movie Maker. LOL
Hey, does anybody know how the bearded guy with the green cord was able to power the fan on his fatsharks? I'd love to know how that setup works. Thanks!
Josh Sarchet sorry for the delay in answering you. It's a custom cable I made. Just xt60 at battery end, simple switch then split the cable and run a barrel connector to the power in on the goggles and a regular 2s balance lead to the fan connector. I run it all off a 3s battery. The fan is insanely fast then and keeps the goggles unfogged all day. Follow me on @thoraxsraceshed on facebook for weekly live streams. Thanks.
It almost looks like you have 2 fans on your goggles. I too was very intrigued by the switchable power cable to keep the battery weight off your head. I want to make one, now. Subbed your channel just because that awesome cable, but love your Ibiza vids! :)
So I am looking for a little advise.... My son and myself have been flying drones (i.e. Typhoon, parrots, etc.) and after watching some of yours and the crews videos decided to try fpv. We have ordered parts for a build and are waiting on them to arrive so we decided to try a rtf and after watching a few reviews decided on a JJRC JJPRO P130 from gearbest (Worst decision ever). After arriving followed their (gearbest) paid reviewers instructions to the letter would not spin motors. Also b3 charger that came with it was doa so if I hadn't had a charger would still be waiting to charge. Have tried everything I can find on here and still won't come up. In betaflight it won't even recognize the remote and let me see movement even though it will do everything else. We were going to start a retirement fpv vlog and wanted first to be happy and fun now am so frustrated. Please help some noobies out. Thanks a lot and happy flying to all!
Le Drib oh shit a direct reply from Le Drib himself! Lol. I am doing so much browsing for a good pair of goggles to upgrade from my spotty eachine VR2. These ones were a great starter cheap goggle but very unreliable as they frequently freeze or black out.
haha well I highly recommend the Skyzone goggles. They are a bit pricey but I think you get a ton of features and great performance. I have two videos about them on my channel actually
For people who do acro, diving is part of every move, but racers train to keep low and fast, so the finger muscle memory for pulling out of a dive is really hard to learn when it hasn't been trained for.
AirCannonChannel me neither, maybe its me playing video games all day, but this shit is so natural to me, and i think dives are one of the easiest things to learn (of course it depends on what your diving on or around)
I understand why you didn't dive a building somewhere, but you can't dive a tree, its not a long enough fall to be a dive, it will always look like a split-s unless you went way up higher and managed to hit the hole in between the trees at 0 throttle. Isn't the whole point of a dive to be parallel to the structure you are diving with little to no throttle and then come out of it at the bottom? That was not shown once in the video IMO. Not being mean, but the trick Drib was showing these guys was way closer to a split-s then a dive.
you don't really notice the pure talent of steele and drew ( and more pilots) until you have just started flying quads FPV
Reuben Rasmussen Totally agree- I literally just got my first fpv and it’s WAY harder than people think. Requires a crazy amount of skill to pull the tricks they do
True, its indescribable how hard it is to fly exactly where you want to and through gaps and stuff in acro / air mode
That's a fact. I lasted about 5 seconds on my first flight and broke 2 props. Immediately invested in a flight simulator and its helped me as a beginner to drones exponentially. Still struggle on dives and small holes but getting cozy with flips and turns.
Watching normal pilots try to do what Steele and drib do all the time makes you appreciate the skill these guys have
wow this video illustrates just how much better Mr Steele is as a pilot!
This was 5 years ago? Damn, now you can do anything! This video is precious¡!!!
I can't wait to get my quad, I have a lot to learn, but I am confident I will catch on. Just remember Drew and Steele have hundreds of hours of flight time under their belts to pull off what they do. I will conquer the skies, and hope to be as good as these legends! Drone On!™
Steele: "Im cold im shaking" that's called shivering welcome to the UK :) brilliant dives!
Come chill out in Canada Steele, and feel a real cold. Mind you a wet chill will get you to the bone.
Ireland is not part of the UK.
Awesome to see another trick series. I remember being brand new and totally learning technique from the RR guys. Thanks Drew/Steele, you guys do a great job of remembering everyone is not at your skill level and being encouraging to them while they learn.
I love OG videos like this, Mr Steele dive was super smooth..
The Rotor Riot boys make it look soooo easy! Definitely harder than it looks and it takes A LOT of practice. In fact that is a great place to practice. Much easier on the quad and surroundings. I remember my first building dive... it didn't end well for the building!
ALRIGHT More ROTOR RIOT! These two are so funny together haha completely different personalities.
TURRRRBOOOOOOO
A split S into a muff dive are generally my go to dive's, and everybody's happy.
Thanks for another great trick series video to teach those of us who are still learning.
One of the best RR videos for sure....Thanks guys!!!
Ledrib is just making these Europe videos amazing. I keep watching them all just to see him and take in all his positivity! Great guy and a perfect addition to rotor riot
This is just pure joy of flight. can't argue with that
I feel ALIVE when I DIVE!
That's a nice little confidence booster 😎👊
Yess!!! Trick Series is the best :) thank you guys
knowing drib is driving steele crazy makes me LOOOOVE him!! eyeliner squaaaad!!!!!!
Steele looked pissed when that guy took over on his question
Stephan Garate poor Steele.
Lovin the RR shows and learning a lot!! Keep it up guys.
FINALLY more tutorials!
what else you wanna see? :)

try enabling angle mode for landings until you learn what your view should look like at level?
David Burkhart
DITTO!!!:)
I'll give it a try :)
3:00 - that feel when you are pro and you even have lucky !
Steele makes everything look smooth
"Completely different personalities " is for sure. Both different. Both awesome. It's all about the "float" with 5 & 6 in. quads. Nice to see the trick series back
More of this, it's so helpful!
6:10
i like the way you encourage your partner..
i like the way you teach them..
it must be so happy have a flight with you..
I've been trying to learn to dive for a week or so now. Those trees are a perfect spot to practice 👍
hope this vid helps! Let us know how it goes :)
Le Drib cheers man. It's the leveling out, sighting the exit, whilst remaining smooth on the throttle (avoiding propwash) I need to work on.
The fear of getting stuck up a tree is off-putting too 😁
These tutorials are definitely the best vids! Thanks
Tree dives are awesome
you guys are AMAZING!
Good stuff! It's nice to see y'all helping out us minions!
I’m from Ireland lol it is actually quite warm now in the summer
Thank you, I am gonna try this now. Great inspiration.
crashed early :D
forgot the spare (carbon)blades but learned allot
great tutorial guys, I want to try this. any idea when FPV will have HD live feed? the technology is there right?
Good one!!
Killin it guys , love it
The dive is the best most in my opinion
love these Irish videos. :)
Thanks guy! Definitely have to be in acro mode because I'd assume in horizon it would try to correct and it would be very glitchy?
you dont need anything other than acro...
Roald Zijsling I'll agree to an extent, but for someone learning, acro right out of the box is a bad action plan...I mean unless you like exploding quads and crying! I learned on horizon mode then am now switching to acro...it's a challenge, so I'm assuming your next level at flying?
when you're starting FPV, i'd recommend straight to acro. for LOS, horizon/angle may be good to start with. thats how i did it
Roald Zijsling I feel you, I had zero flight time...so I literally have worked my self up each mode...3 months I feel very smooth in acro now. Just need bigger quads for more power now. Thanks though for some info!!
Steele is still the best Pilot i know!
that's coz you don't know me ;)
love this keep them coming😄😄😄😄👍👍👍👍
Whoever edited this is a smart ass, and it's hilarious !
Hoho how much time I've been waiting for this episode!!!
awesome! I wanna have my own rotor riot coach!!!!
Hey could you guys do a review with the vortex mini ? You guy are always teasing us with it.
I want to be with these guys
just got my props i ordered from yall.... actually liked the vek 5x4.3x3, untill i crashed and an esc cought on fuego and a motor came off... but but but... the props??? No damage... wtf!!! So what do yall think on upgrading... have a wizard... and yes, i love it !!
Sorry I’m late on this but what times should I be getting out of a 1300mah 3s
Dudes beard has three colors. I shall call him Calico.(Just google it. lol) Really enjoyed my visit as always. Thanks guys for all your hard work. I believe the hardest work is in the editing. Am I right???? I've only used Windows Movie Maker. LOL
I'd be stoked as hell to meet Steel let alone fly with them...

7:16 Are you guys flying on windows 98 wallpaper location? 😅
Dave's goggle and radio wraps are on point 😀 if anyone else needs. let me know ;)
Please do more trick tutorials. It saves me the crashes haha
If you guys ever go to Asia again, you'll have to fly Haesindang Park.
What do you guys use to mount your gopro session 5?
Mr. Steele you are my religion~~!! 🤩
Finally you uploaded some footage from the Euro trip
Do more of this series!
I saw one actual dive and a lot of power loops and split-s's through that hole...
I've never done that through a hole before. Might be dangerous, but might be rewarding at the same time. LOL
steel gets beardblocked at the end)
Гольт Э more facial hair, more cool.
Peter Griffin with Birds!!
oh my I've been waiting for this
What goggle was drew using?
Super drone training .... in Irish Drone english ....

What goggles is drib running? Are those black aomway commanders?
Dylan Sims skyzones if Im not mistaken
QurttoRco they must be decent I guess. Eh?
Skyzone goggles :)
Le Drib oh shit a direct reply from Le Drib himself! Lol. I am doing so much browsing for a good pair of goggles to upgrade from my spotty eachine VR2. These ones were a great starter cheap goggle but very unreliable as they frequently freeze or black out.

Why Steele isnt fly with Drew anymore ?

you can see why they call it the Emerald Isle
5:30 That dude with a 50$ Goggle :D
Yo rotor riot come down under and see us at Australia
For next sight see
Please do more tutorials!!!
what tricks would you like to see covered??
I don't even know, I'm new to the hobby and just want to learn more. One thing is I wish you had a stick camera so I could see what you're doing.
low and smooth. maintain a few inches off the ground with minimum corrections:)
almost there..
"Please edit that out" = code for "must be included no matter what"
yup lmao
You need to get out the way 🤔
I don't get what is so difficult about diving?

dive baby dive, make your mother cry,
firefly reference??
All dives matter
Thanks RR!
The one time I'm early, I don't know what to comment
Ey saw this on reddit
never tell them not to use that clip, cuz of course it's gonna make the edit bro :P hah
Cool
Oh, look, Steel talking over someone's intro. Shocker.
ryan day: lol, They only complain if Drew does it! 😜
I can't take that moustache anymoooore.
*Early*
Great video guys
