Since I've played on an Eastman guitar, I just don't want to touch any other guitar. They are well balanced, powerful, delicate and clean sounding guitars.
Thanks for the demo. I appreciate the range of strums and picking used to elicit the tones from each guitar, and also ap[preciate you not turning it into a personal audition tape. Love the clean clarity of the 622. Tired of Martin boominess and Taylor zingy-ness; nice to hear clean, balanced fundamentals. Nice job, and nice job Eastman.
Instead of the sound moving away from the front - it comes straight towards you which makes a huge, I mean a huge difference. You're listening to the actual sound of this beautiful piece of art and at the same time you're able to fine tune this guitar easier. Just puschased the AC622ce today, and it really blows me away This video pulled me definitely over the line. In the music shop I have compared the AC622ce with the 622 KOA and the 722 (and even some Taylors) but the crisp and clear sound of the AC622ce did it for me. Have to get used a little to the 1 3/4 nut (coming from a Spanish Alhambra) but hey .... got tingling and numb fingers after 3 hours of playing but getting there. Thanks a bunch for the effort and comparison.
Beautiful guitars! I've seen other guitars with a soundhole on top like that. For those that have this model...I wonder would the sound coming from it translate to a vocal mic? Very interesting design
That's a great questions. I don't think the volume coming from the top sound hole would be enough for a vocal mic to pick up, especially on stage with other instruments. In the studio you might get a little more bleed, but you'd have that anyway with an acoustic.
One of the best vids out there and had to watch it thrice for effect. Methinks one of these needs to be considered. The maple with Engelmann is what I see in the spec. It should warm up the guitar as it opens over time along with the maple. A great combination for mandolins and no reason a guitar should be any different.
@@Skwid-Lives Well it is maple but I would say no, not mine anyway. I think it's got a nice bass response. All things being subjective to the listener of course.
☑️ my next guitar is sighted on the AC622CE ‼️ 💙 AC622CE is an awesome looking and sounding GA , perfect for 🇨🇦 , so I did buy one after pondering the 522 Mahogany & 722 EIR models _ just wanted the wide open clarity and beauty of the maple in my lap❗️ previously bought the AC308CE and what a gem of balance and chime ‼️🤔 🥸 🤓 😊 Eastman is my go to now _ and will probable sell some of my higher value domestic builds 🤑
Eastman. So many instruments under their roster. THey make violin/cello's. Saxophones. And acoustic guitars. :) Do a decent job at it. Instrument quality most would be (or should) be perfectly happy with. At reasonable prices. Question is does it bother the buyer these are Taiwanese made instruments? Which is different from saying they're made in China...some people actually think Taiwan is part of China. Which isn't to say China can't make good quality instruments (e.g. Jay Haide violins and cello's). Are there better sounding acoustic guitars? Definitely. Would I ever buy an Eastman guitar? Probably not. :) Prefer a Huss & Dalton or Collings. dread...even a custom Martin over an Eastman...But Eastman guitars wouldnt be a bad choice for some. Maybe because that shop only carries Eastman as their "big name"...
Eastman guitars are not made in Taiwan are made in Beijing China China uses slave labor for many of their products not these guitars but many other products China is a communist state with nothing but contempt for America Etc they want world domination would not knowingly buy any products made in China accept my medications and other things which is a thought of our government not promoting made in America and trying to keep companies here Bourgeois guitars have teamed up with Eastman would not buy any food you are guitars even those made in America now knowing this even if I had the money Taiwan Good China bad
Flipping back between 3:31 and 5:23 is pretty good for tone comparison.

my sentiments exactly

I like the warmer sound of the 822. 622 looks prettier. Great choices!
Hi. Can you please compare AC722CE DF AND AC822CE PLS? It is hard to tell by listening two different clips.

does it come with a plug for that hole incase you, for whatever reason, don't want to hear it at the moment?
Like your videos sir 👍
I miss this guy
I have a new AC622, it's not only beautiful but sounds fantastic....buy yourself one people!
I’m struggling between ordering yours or the 822. The 622 isn’t too bright is it. It’s beautiful to look at

@@WysteriaGuitar cool thanks and Yea I’m sure it sounds great, if it was a Taylor it would cost $4000 so it has me intrigued
@@Skwid-Lives The sound port on the top is awesome BTW, great for the player.
What is the neck like on the 622? Thin profile or bat?
You wait!!!

These demo vids should have a spoiler alert: NO WAY CAN YOU AFFORD ANY OF THESE INSTRUMENTS
Speak up.

Eastman’s absolutely rock it. They beat guitars double and triple the cost. Your qualm seems to be with Taiwan. Porque?!
Eastman instruments are made in their factory in Beijing China.
