I just ordered a set today and am anxious for them to arrive. I have been a strict headphone user over the years and am looking forward to enjoying a whole new listening experience.
@@dennism1919 enjoy!
I'm interested to see some graphs of this iem. While the frequency response doesn't tell the whole story (quality of the driver(s), configuration, and even materials used for the shell come into play) it can give a nice visual of the general tonality. Thank you for another great review! 👍
I’d be interested to see this too! DHRME might do this on their review?
Thank you for reviewing this product. Can you review Earfun EH100? Thank you
Cheers, yes I am trying to get hold of the Earfun 🙏🏻
Earfun won’t send them, maybe if I get some Super Thanks towards I might be able to order them in
I wonder how these compare to chifi iems. I’ve got a ton and they sound fantastic, even the cheap ones sound pretty good.
Does anyone know which Comply foam tips will work with these headphones? On another note, what cable would be best if the need arises to replace the stock cables?
The P50 vs the quad driver?
Sorry don't have the quad
Out of the box, I find that the Pentas are significantly brighter and crisper, almost excessively treble-heavy after listening to the warmer Quads. They seem to lack the deep, rumbling bass that is characteristic of, for instance, thunder sounds. However, the detail is present, allowing one to perceive it without experiencing a pronounced impact and rumble in their head. The sound currently appears somewhat tinny, so I intend to provide them with extensive burn-in hours and reassess their performance once they have become more open. The ear tips are exceptionally flimsy and will likely require an upgrade. Voices are reproduced with greater clarity, crispiness and presence compared to the Quads, which exhibit a more V-shaped sound signature. If the Pentas do not exhibit significant improvement after burn-in, I will likely return them and keep the Quads.
I have Etymotic ER2XR and foam tips also work best for me. I wonder If these 1more get similar isolation to Etymotics when using foam tips.
Sounds likely! It was a significant improvement for me, struggled to achieve a proper seal with the silicone ones.
@@RicherTechReviews Do they leak sound at all when listening at high volumes, when using foam tips? I see they have a bass port?
Will these properly play 24bit 196Hz Hi-Res Lossless music files? Will I need an external DAC even if the native files are already 24bit 196Hz Hi-Res Lossless?
Yes via the included USB C adapter
@@RicherTechReviews Thanks 🙏
If you want more no pun, what size or compatibility for the foam?
Sorry can't understand the message
@@RicherTechReviews I want to buy large tips foam what size and where? For these particular earbuds interested in buying this

No leakage as far as I'm aware
Vents normally don’t leak much sound. It would have to be really loud.
Bluetooth and good sound quality dont go together. Get wired IEM if you want great sound quality!!! Youll also save a ton of money as wired are much cheaper and last way longer. Most bluetooth IEM dont make over a year before crappingout. Theyre designed to fail cuz theres just too much money to be made selling you new models every year.
Bluetooth tws have come a long way this year. Status between 3ANC I prefer over a lot of my iems. Also Bluetooth amps are great too, like the btr7 or qudelix 5k.
@Hijynx87
Save your money til they perfect the technology. Right now you have to use wifi in order to stream the massive lossless files. Bluetooth is simply too slow cuz it doesnt have the bandwidth. You will not get what they over charge you for on those btr7 Dac amp.
Right now you can get an awesome hifiman Ananda for $399. Same price as what they charge for an inferior Bluetooth bang and olufson IEM. Blows away the best bluetooth headphones from focal, bang and olufson that cost twice as much.
not a fan of the mcmx as a cable option, they are a 🐖remove prefer 0.78mm 2 pin a la Moondrop and Truthears
I’m just getting into IEMs. Regardless of the cable I think these are a solid entry level (but premium) product to make high end / Hi-Res IEMs more accessible.
Yeah, it’s best to use an mmcx remover tool, or using your nails to pinch pry them loose.
At least it’s removable, I believe their other iems don’t, so if anything happens to the cable you’ll only get 1 channel or nothing….like the good old days lol.
