Merlin debuted in the 30s, Belial debuted in the 50s, Etrigan debuted in 1972, Raven debuted in 1980,Trigon debuted in 1981.
I can see him having his own Netflix series. Also please do a history of detective chimp. Good guy characters with demonic powers in fiction is always badass!

I love Etrigan also. I’ve followed him since the late 80’s. His rhyming is so unique to comic book characters. The best for me is when he’s using olde English. He is such an OP character and most people don’t even know who he is. Him and Lobo could destroy all of the Marvel universe. Including the Cosmic entities.
Kind of disappointed you didn’t go into his always rhyming quirk. My favorite I’ve seen so far is “Why have you summoned me, you sad Merlin wannabe?” When confronting Constantine.
So underrated, one of my favourite DC characters, he's like a cross between Hulk, Wolverine and Hellboy. I'd recommend checking out Kirby's original run on the character, it's a little tricky to follow at first what with how dated it is, but the stories are great, and episodic, like an animated TV series.

Plus when you meet her in MUA3 she's fighting a horde of Mindless ones IN THE DARK DIMENSION! How awesome is she? Plus if not for a family amulet that gives her Captain America level agility and endurance, she's an average human woman. AND IT'S ACTUALLY CENSORED TOO, she has become one of my favorite Marvel characters lately.)
