DC don't know what to do with him. DC hasn't fully fleshed out the magic side of their universe.

His helmet can be seen in the house of mystery. That’s all we see in the movie about him though

For me, Kent Nelson will always be Dr. Fate. He's in my top 10 of having the coolest uniform.
The same you could say how Johnny Blaze will always be the true Ghost Rider because he's the original and nothing beats the original.

@@UniversalMushroom me too. I like dc and Marvel because of their potrayal of superheroes. Or heroes in general. In dc the super hero is almost a mystical being, a pedastal god. Even if they themselves don't want to be such. Dc also has surprisingly good humanised heroes. Marvel on the other hand excels in the human aspect of heroes. That no matter how strong or prepared or great you are there is a chance you'll fail. That even after all the good you do you won't have a happy ending. It's all about the human. I'm not saying dc doesn't show humanised heroes, but Marvel does it better. Marvel had better time to compose themselves. Dc has been running since the 40s And it eas mainly created to give birth to larger than life heroes. People of that time needed that.

They should redo his history of events so as to reduce his age to probably mid-50s? And it'll be great!
Based on the history Dr. Fate could be a man or woman or both at the same time. Whenever the actor they cast decides to stop playing the role the studio could easily recast the role and it could be part of the character.
Finally he's getting his due in the upcoming Black Adam movie with Pierce Brosnan

The role of Kent Nelson/ Dr. Faith should have gone to Gerard Butler, and role of his father should have been Pierce Bronson.
Fate is so underrated.. maybe because this costume resemble supermans. The should get him a new suit, since he is one of the big guns who could take down superman, darkseid and beings like that!
Dr Fate hasn't had a good comic series, ever. That's why most people don't care about him.

MK ULTRA SOLDIER II Countdown to Mystery was great, but it's a shame the writer passed away before he could finish it. Kent V. Nelson had a lot of potential, and he had some decent moments in the JSA series, but they didn't really do anything with him...
Humm….when has Dr. Fates' costume EVER look like Supermans' costume? I have NEVER seen Dr. Fate wearing red, blue and yellow. His costume was always yellow/gold and blue.

For those of you who don't know Constantine was an amazing show, and the fact that NBC canceled it after 1 season is still a sore spot.
I loved the show. I think people were comparing it to the movie. It just needed another season to keep fans interest

Awesome episode. This character is one of my all time favorite mystical characters in all of comics.

Well for me the whole mystical thing. For me personally i have always been fascinated with Mythology, mysticism and stuff like this. And this character pretty much brings all of that together.

It isn’t likely because the general public aren’t well known about the comic continuity and are worried the audience will confuse Dr Fate as a carbon imitation of Dr Strange. Warner Bros isn’t going to buy that maybe Phantom Stranger would be a fantastic substitution.
