hmmm. im got a similar setup in my jdm forester (its got a gr 6 speed tho) if its at 23 psi i think it will be 280 ish but if its 19-20 psi 240 is more likely
Did you end up having to tuning it for the different gas? I have a 2001 JDM Sti I gotta get it tuned but for now there’s no tune and using Canadian gas
You could use ecutek is the worst Power fc old school but works 450whp in one of my cars back in the days Or you could convert to link g4x pnp You could also get a “chipped” mines or boss ecu , add safc and a meth kit and and be close to 300whp on stock vf 22 or 28 o 30 or 23 they all produce similar power
I messaged cob 7 years ago and got told that there is nothing they can do for me. Maybe with the new JDM stuff coming in they might start doing some work with them but I doubt it
IAG FA24 blocks are a mystery. Press from IAG to be honest sucks. Products from IAG on the other hand is amazing. Lets fix communication with customers and markets.
The FA24 blocks are still in testing and development. Not much news to report there at the moment other than the supply of new cases from Subaru is still quite low, so until Subaru fixes their supply chain it will be difficult to offer these in the way we do other blocks. Once we have testing results to report we will do another video.
Well done Foster. IAG is quickly turning into GC land! That's myself, Randy, and now Adam!
Nothing wrong with more GCs at the shop!
GC8s, so hot right now.
My V8 JDM STi makes 185awkw stock (250whp) which I thought was quite impressive considering the domestic AUDM ones were rated to 195kw (crank output)
I got the same exact ones, with the Fukushima Subaru emblem next to Type R white under taillights if anyone is looking.
Thats bang on the money nice healthy stock jdm power 💪
What version ej207 was the doner out of? Curious what boost. By stock jdm sti bugeye with the vf30 boosts to like 21psi in 4th gear and above.
I miss my 2001 outback impreza 2.5 rs 😔
Foster, you don’t work with Subispeed anymore?
Beautiful GC
i think i saw this car on marketplace
You probably did, it was purchased in the last couple of weeks
That’s perfect
My guess was only 4 off the first pull!

There are a few stock ecu flash options. I got mine done here in Vancouver. I can give you some pointers if you want.
How do you tune a JDM ECU? Tactrix cable and open source? I’ve always heard that you can’t use Cobb with them.

Curious on how much boost?
v5's stock boost around 1.1bar
