how did you calculate how much damage electrocute would have done? Did you count the each time it would have procked and then calculate the damage and keep track of the cooldown? Like... how did you do it?
I've been playing dark harvest on nidalee ever since the release actually I was wondering why people never tried it I had more 1 shot potential with dark harvest compared to electrocute but I only switched to electrocute whenever I'm sure I can snowball the game but if I think it'll go to late game I always use DH

Please can someone tell that darkest harvest be used in lane as well? Mid lane specifically? I saw in past seasons darkest was used of a lot of mid laners.
The way dark harvest worked in this video is a lot different to how it works now. Large monsters and cannons used to give dark harvest stacks. You would then have to hit an enemy to deal the dmg.
remember when riot nerfed dark harvest so that only a few champs use it well, I guess that no longer matters

I switched to dark harvest kha when I first saw it in my ranked game. That was patch 8.15 I'm surprised it's taken that long for people to hop on the DH train. It's v. strong

yes you should, she goes so well in predator, try it you will have much more pressure in ganks and u will still win or lose the 1v1 u would win or lose

Depends,try playing a couple of games with ecute and a couple with DH. See which you like better.
Note : remember that you're used to play with ecute so try to adjust play style while playing with DH.

This is heplful, but what about for Kassadin mid? His late game scaling is already great, and an extra ~450 damage from electrocute helps his burst at full build, but is Dark Harvest ever worth more than that in a lane rather than Jungle?
The video was targeted towards junglers who couldnt utilize the new electrocute. I main mid, and if you'd wanna pickup a rune for kassadin, I would recommend fleet footwork for matchups you go even with. It helps with sustain and that movespeed you get from autoing is going to help you stick to your target until late game. If you are in a matchup vs a burst champion, I would run grasp. It helps you not die after their full combo, and helps you sustain up until late game. I would have preferred summon aery for agressive poke over fleet, but eversince the nerf, it's just not viable anymore. Kassadin never ran electrocute even before patch 8.16 btw lol

I understand who and what the video was targeted towards, I watched it, and I was just curious because Dark Harvest has a different scaling curve in lane compared to jungle where only champs and larger minions drop souls. But yeah, sustain runes would be better now that I think about it. Still probably gonna run electrocute though, I just play Kassadin to have a 1.2 second flash that does ~1000 damage and vaporize people. That, and most of my games don't go past 25 minutes, so I don't hit late game.
Kassadin ran electrocute before the nerfs, you could score a first blood at lvl4 with electrocute+ignite easily, tf you talking about

Mid laners for the most part should keep electrocute. Ranged champs like ahri and leblanc can apply it more often, so if you're playing around the new cooldown well it's a buff

Nah not all are updated on the same day, it depends on what Riot Spiffy's mood is, we were late 2 weeks long time ago.
I've been trying out Dark Harvest Rengar and I found that its really good like I was surprised with how much damage I was doing, I had shit early games in some of the matches but by around 20 mins I could do enough damage to basically 1 shot squishes and be useful and I found that thanks to Dark Harvest I was able to basically stay in the match even if it got to late game because my Damage just kept going up and up as the match went on. When I tried to use Electrocute I found that even if I got it off, the damage wasnt enough and half the time I would leave the enemy on like 20 health which was really annoying so overall I'd say Dark Harvest > Electrocute if youre Jungler
Use fleet on rengar jungle, thats the best rune on him.
Yeh I tried it out earlier was able to do Red Buff, Raptors, Scuttle and Krugs without going below 50% but idk I kinda like the 1 shot burst potential more from Dark Harvest but I guess its what people really prefer I guess if they wanna run for 1 shotting they can if they wanna run for sustain they can it just shows how Flexible Rengar is xd

u actually go aery on zoe dont u? DH is ok in aram but not in the summoners rift, or thats is what i think

He definitely uses it, we spotted multiple high elo players running it. Never mentioned it's more optimal or the go to option.

No problem. We make these with the intent of educating the player base, not with the goal of getting things nerfed. If it does get nerfed, it's likely because riot notices from their data that the rune is too strong, not because a video says so.

They can't and they won't, because Dark Harvest was created with the purpose of one-shotting/snowballing. The rune is precisely for that, and it synergizes really well with champs that can snowball really hard (Rengar, Kha'Zix) or already use Domination.
Nah riot is too busy nerfing Garen and Yorick.( Not implying that DH needs any nerfs, it's surely balanced)

@@Avarice0918 It was a thing in Korea a couple of patches ago but only for that patch. You would also run Ignite + Smite like shaco. And his clearing isnt even that bad when he has tiamat.
