holy shit. been listening to the fetus version for almost 20 years and never knew it was a cover. I must say, i will be looking into the rest of Intergrity's catalog now. fuckin badass band
Ha! Im not the only one! I got to know integrity through the dying fetus version, and it took me a few years to realize that it was a cover song. And actually now i prefere the integrity version, cause its more " Raw and from the heart" . Dying fetus did a good job on this, but its not the same.
lyrics: Worlds caving in around you Thought you had it easy 'til they found you What can I say it's in your face You were the one who did the crime You'll be the one to pay Your backs against the wall Will you stand or will you fall Judgement day!

To anyone looking for the lyrics. I bet if you send Dwid a Hawaiian shirt he'll hook you up with a lyric sheet. To the people trying to define the band's genre. They're a hardcore band, they incorporated metal riffs and solos and dark imagery. Bands who would later be dubbed metalcore (Hatebreed, All Out War, etc) often cite them as an influence. The term metalcore didn't even exist during Integrity's heyday.
How do you explain people have seen metalcore at 90s? I could agree with you but there is an interview who talk about metalcore term at 80s in bands like chumbuckers dri leeway in magazine thethankslist.com/mike-score-all-out-war-below-the-frost/
You could really say the same about progenitors of any genre. Just because it wasn't properly defined when they were laying the groundwork doesn't mean can't be called that genre. I'd say they were still mostly hardcore, but calling them metalcore wouldn't be inaccurate.
@@rohitchaoji I have conflicts in how people confuse between metalcore and hardcore, of course there may be another alternative name (metallic hardcore) but my problem is, these types of bands cannot partially hardcore, lets take account the main influences, same as emo powerviolence crossover but obviusly bands like integrity converge or hatebreed theyre mixture between metal and hardcore punk, it does matter i dont know if is metalcore an official genre?? You could say a simple hardcore band but when listen those type of bands it isnt irrelevant and debately
@@michaeledward5201 I had a similar discussion with someone on Facebook about how emo started much earlier than late 90s and the dude wasn't ready to consider DC emocore bands to be real emo.
When Integrity started getting popular, people called them "terror core" and "murder core" to differentiate them from the youth crew and Go '89 SxE bands FWIW
Boner jams it is the cover of judges 7" "newyork crew" and to all of you arguers on here.integrity started in the late 80's too. This was on the album they stopped being straightedge. the best integrity era with the Melnick brother's. tom front was in the band on early singles though.
@VictoryDonuts ooooh ok that clears tings up a bit. so integrity is the original metalcore and dying fetus and born of osiris and them are the new metalcore
they are a hardcore band all the way, but people label them as the first matalcore band because they're the first hardcore band to have such guitar solos... That's what i think at least
@noclassevan ok im getting 2 diffrent view points here. your saying that its not the original metalcore and the other guy a couple comments below are saying that it is. im really confused now so im just gonna say that the original metalcore is the same thing as modern hardcore
Not trying to be an ass or start an argument, but this is practically the dictionary definition of metalcore. The dictionary definition of hardcore would be something more like early Slapshot or SSD. That said, everyone's got their own definitions of ______core, so to each his own. This just coming from someone who was there for the births (and deaths) of just about every ______core out there :) Peace out!
"those who fear tomorrow" was and is still the real stuff, cheers from Serbia.
dabome
Fuck yeah!
I got into this band during Basic Training, my drill sergeant used to play integrity while on CQ good times

old times - best times. The Melnick brothers & the Jam, true Integrity!!!
I heard DF version first and it brought me to this band. New fan.
THIS is what metalcore was all about.

The last great seance has been on repeat in one of their playlists I e got on in the car for days now
That haircut is what it was all about in the midwest in the 90's....
lyrics:
Worlds caving in around you
Thought you had it easy 'til they found you
What can I say it's in your face
You were the one who did the crime
You'll be the one to pay
Your backs against the wall
Will you stand or will you fall
Judgement day!
Ha! Baby Dwid with his shirt off!? Gotta show off that Judge tattoo! ^_^
Hello im from indonesia
Will you stand or will you Fall.....
Worlds caving in around you
Thought you had it easy until we found you
What can you say?
It's in your face
You were the one who did the crime
You'll be the one to pay
Your backs against the wall
Will you stand or will you fall
Judgement Day
You're on the line
Gotta pay the price
Somewhere out there
Someone had to die
Living a lie
Trying to survive
Reaching out - no grip
In your face
Judgement day
What can you say
Judgement day
Caving in - devouring
Nowhere to run
Nowhere to hide
Now your souls against the wall
Worlds caving in around you
Thought you had it easy until we found you
What can you say?
It's in your face
You were the one who did the crime
You'll be the one to pay
Your backs against the wall
Will you stand or will you fall
Judgement Day

Judgement Day lyrics © Concord Music Publishing LLC
Rotting stench of my corroding remains
I'll never be the same
Distribution, disillusioned
I gotta lean to balance out the pain
Separation of state and mind
I cannot, I will not die
Locked away inside my mind
I am guilty, I am the crime
You gotta let me out
You gotta help me survive
In this world of pain
Icepick through the face
Bloodsoaked existence
Don't get in my way
A chain is only
As strong as it's weakest link
Flesh so durable
My razor is my only release
As your blood pours you inside out
All this time i thought this was an original Dying Fetus song
DF did amazing covers throught!
Cant beat Integrity's original though, DF's cover is still good!
Vintage-core.
This band influenced SO many bands... And I'm just finding them

@super8hell dude this is from Those Who Fear Tomorrow, which is widely considered the first 'metalcore', as in 'metallic hardcore', record.
such a sick ass song!
@MikioBo
I call them hardcore, too. I would say the Cro-Mags were the first big crossover band, but D.R.I. and Anthrax were at it too in the 80s.
dying fetus covered this fucking yeah, love hardcore and brutal death metal!!!!
@popsicle589
I would say that this is the real metalcore, what metalcore's supposed to be. It's today's bands that give the genre an abysmal name.
Damn, Dwid used to be beautiful asf
When Integrity started getting popular, people called them "terror core" and "murder core" to differentiate them from the youth crew and Go '89 SxE bands FWIW
Pretty cool fact. Kind of reminds me how there's horrorcore for rap/hip-hop (Big L).
MOTLEY CRUE - "Come on & dance" . Ah ! Ah ! Ah !
saw them in their prime time Never heard that song were covered by Dying Fetus
hardcore stil live foreever
@DomnulSarb@ I think it's a judge tat, Theres a pretty good late 80's-90's hardcore band called judge .

hardcore! straight up! no argument!
Dying Fetus covered this :DD
Dying Fetus brought me here
the fucking best!!!
Слушать, канеш, можно
только после кавера в исполнении DF, оригинал воспринимается не слишком целостно и гармонично😉😆

Como olvidar cuando el Miklo era vocalista de Integrity
Does anyone have the lyrics for this song?

@popsicle589 Hardcore at his best !!!
Is that dude phil anselmo? Great band
@popsicle589 yeah this is some straight up crossover
Dying fetus cover are best.
dying fetus are for pussies

That haircut is 90s as fuck

Dying Fetus brought me here...
@laget

That’s my cousin Dwid Hellion .
question, not that i care or anything but this band broke edge right?
yeah 20 years ago
@popsicle589 Sorry bro, Integrity invented metallic hardcore. Hardcore is Minor Threat and Black Flag. Integrity slays though, fuck today's sissy metalcore.
@laget pff yeah deathcore8-)
@RisingRev0luTi0n well thats not nice

@deathmetalhead9 i like the dying fetus version better too but this is still pretty sick

@dilutinginertia ^^^^^ !!!!!!!

Why the singer look like a manly version of Shane Dawson
This is emo.
