Brandon, I just recently discovered you in the last 6 months. I binged the first three Mistborn books and I'm hooked. I watched your entire creative writing class, and it has inspired me to finally begin my own writing journey. I hold two Master's Degrees (neither relevant to English or the Arts), and when writing the dozens of papers I was required to create, I received many compliments on my writing. I always had this feeling in the back of my head that I should pursue it, but I never have. Watching those UA-cam videos gave me the info and the push I needed to begin my journey so I just came here to say THANK YOU! I am a 30 year old man who looks up to you and hopes to one day work with you on something. I am currently working on my first novel, and following in your footsteps, have launched a blog where I post short stories every couple of weeks. @@DraugoAs much as I love Sanderson, he wouldn’t be right to finish ASOIAF. Joe Abercrombie would be the obvious choice, but there are numerous authors that fit Martin’s style better. Sanderson has plenty to write on his own lol.

You don't HAVE to do swag in a crowdfund. Run it more like a pre-order. Add on MAYBE a free sticker and bookmark. But crowdfunding is great for stuff like leatherbounds. And I know y'all are learning new stuff and how to handle crowdfunding better.
I've been planning to redo our book room for years with the center piece being a vanity style book shelf wide enough to fit the wheel of time books with juniper dust jackets. I just started building the carcasses for the vanity this year and planned for the book room to be one of my summer projects. I cannot wait for the leather bounds. I might also be panicking just slightly that my shelf won't fit them. I guess I've got around 16 years before I'd need to make a new shelf though. Anyways thanks for making this a thing I'm stoked to see them
