Brian and I had many wonderful discussions from opposite sides of the world (I’m a golf pro in Australia and of similar vintage to Brian) but we were clearly of the same mindset in regard to the golf swing and coaching. I tell my students that everyone already has their own unique golf swing within and I’m not going to teach them to swing but to coach them in a manner that will allow their own swing to come out and be found.

Hi to you in Australia and great to hear from you!! So good to come across coaches who share our ideas. Are you still coaching or have you retired? Would love to know more about you and your coaching perhaps you could email us at team@easiestswing.club so we can communicate a little easier. Philip

Hello, new subscriber here. This video is perfect timing for me. I haven't played golf in several years due to chronic lower back issues. Just about to give golf another try. This time I want to start fresh with a new perspective. I was an ok player (around 8 handicap) but got caught up in trying to copy tour players, which put a lot of torque and pressure on my body. My swing was forced and not comfortable at all. Too many swing thoughts which made my swing worse. I just started trying the Easiest Swing. Just hitting wedges so far but I like it already. Thanks so much!!

I’m trying to keep playing whilst waiting for back surgery. The easiest swing lets me play without having to rest up for days after each round or range session... and I’m hitting the ball better than I have for ages. Thank you for keeping me sane!

What happens if you are given a Ferrari as a gift? I could never afford one but would hate to turn down an offer for fear of my golf game! ;-)

It is actually fewer yards, yards are countable.
Fewer and less are quantifiers that compare quantities, amounts and degree1. Fewer is used for countable things, such as pages, rocks, lions, or tigers21. Less is used for uncountable things, such as sugar, water, confidence, or sympathy21
On to golf this swing system has transformed my game, as it was coming around. but the consistency of explanations in every aspect without technical, or position explanations, which I always found to be confusing and counterproductive. works for me.
Although people are no longer impressed by a shot 3 ft from the pin from 200 yds, which was probably my best shot from that range.
A couple birdies a rd., and no double bogies and the scores come down, but more importantly it just feels great.
Plus, it helps all aspects of your game up and down the bag. Remember that shot you made it felt like you did nothing, and ball went a long way and landed in the middle of the fairway. Do what these guys say, and you will hit a lot more of those.
I am a big fan. Won money every week for the last 3, and one closest to the pin. I missed the birdie putt.

Of course you are right but most golfers can’t get that inside attack because of the restrictions they BELIEVE they must incorporate into their swings…. enjoyed your comment though 😂

Another great video . I bought the book back in 2014 and never looked back . I like the swinging legs exercise , I just needed to change my mindset to swing the whole club ( as Manuel de la Torre suggested) not just the club head , in a totally free motion.
Thank you for keeping Brian's work going.

A teacher that I much admire said that the golf swing is invisible. He said that the video analysis of the “perfect” swing ruined the professional golf teachers who teach all these perfect positions. There are so many forces on the club and body during the swing (gravity, momentum, centripetal force, etc.). The positions that show up in the picture are a combination of the forces that you impart to the club in reaction to those invisible forces. Practicing static positions for a dynamic swinging action is a fool’s errand. Sorry Phillip, I’m a golf nerd. The bottom line is that most of us hackers can’t swing like the soup de jour ideal pro swing. What you teach is achievable by 99.9% of us. I’m a big fan and believe in the ES principals.

Hi Barry what a fabulous post. It is comments like yours that encourages us to keep wanting to get our message to all those golfers who find it impossible to conform to this unattainable ideal. As you say we must allow ourselves to sense all the forces in play and let our body naturally respond to them. Most golfers have so much more ability than they know but are limited by trying to find these “positions” keep enjoying your swing!

I played one course but can’t remember which one now. Which course do you play at? Have great memories of driving up to Sedona in time for Dawn to break when we drove up into the mountains just beautiful! I want to testify a bit. I just got back from my first round of golf in 4 years. I didn't even get a chance to warm up at the range. Only practice I had was a swing caddy I got last week and doing la danse du golf. See, I've decided to fully commit myself to easiest swing, because I first got into it around six years ago, but then I fell into the trap of watching endless videos and getting bogged down in technical stuff and I abandoned easiest swing. This time around I wanted to be free of all that stuff. I did really well today. All I focused on was recreating the feel of la danse du golf, and getting that nice relaxed turn and making sure I reached that end position nice and balanced. Many shots were straight as an arrow with a lovely ball flight. My best shots were when I was aware of having a light grip. It was really nice to be basically totally free of swing thoughts. So yeah, I'm very pleased and I'm even more convinced that this is the right approach for me. Thank you guys!
