The Thief is by far the most enjoyable character to play. I would like to see the develops make a game built around her. Unlike most sidescrolls where you shoot straight to the end of the screen. In Trine, you have to aim and adjust the power of each shot to get the desired arch, such as shooting into the air lightly so that it can arch down to a skeleton on the other side of an obstacle.

I've owned Trine on Steam since the day it came out. And I didn't know it was Nvidia 3D Vision Ready! So now im playing it in 3D now and its amazing. I wish it had online co-op! Hopefully Trine 2 has ONLINE co-op (not just local co-op)

its a really fun and enjoyable game, mind you if your left with the wizard he is pretty much naff in combat as trying to drop boxes on multiple enemies suck. finding treasure chests with stat boosting rewards is always good :D i would pick it up or try it at a friends house.
Yes I agree, Braid is $20, its fully 2d, 2 hours gameplay with no replay value, no multiplayer, and Trine have a great replay value and the coop is really cool. Trine is a lot better than Braid
Great game, I'm actually enjoying both the atmosphere *and* gameplay very much ATM. It's different, so the opinions on the game are going to be even more polarised than usual, but I haven't had as much fun with a platformer for a long while. I'd definitely at least give the demo a shot if you haven't already.
i'm keeping my psp slim. it's got a 32 gb memory stick, so i'm good lol. mgs on the psp is great. there are no graphical or gameplay problems at all. FFVII also really shines on the psp.
I was positively surprised, it was a really decent game! The very best platformer I've ever played. It was very short, yeah, but the replay value is quite high. Price is a bit too much, but I grabbed it from Steam's summer sales and I got it for 10e, so that wasn't an issue in my case. Excellent, excellent game, loved every bit of it! =)
nether the less even if i am a 'uncoordinated turd' he is not my play style and i tended to use the thief and warrior the majority of times. dragging a boulder or drawing a square was to time consuming for me. when i could just spam click bow
If you think this game is the first to use boxes you didn't play prince of persia 3d back in the day--- in fact a lot of the pop games in general even going back to the original J. Mechner days.
I bought this game when it was for sale on Steam for $5. It was worth it. The game was enjoyable except for the end level, which is "timed", and I hate that shit. But even that was well made. But I think it's back up to $20...I wouldn't pay $20 for it just because it's got no replay value really.
@RedofYellow Not everything that's illegal is immoral, though. Until recently being homosexual was illegal. That being said, I buy games to support the people who make them. I don't care about the laws, more the common decency of paying for services rendered. Even if free downloads became legal, I'd still buy games (that are reasonably priced).

Personally, I think they have really lazy, stupid or bad reporters/editors. I would have expected more from GS... it's like doing a World of Warcraft review and using some lord of the rings music behind it.

This has been one of my fav puzzle platformers.. the crispy sounds of skeleton bones crushing was truly enchanting

yeah, you can put a good 200 hours into each game, not to mention there are 3 expansions, but get the first game first, you'll love it.

Maybe 5 hrs with three people. I'm playing solo and have easily passed the 5 hr mark. Bought this recently for $10 on PSN and was worth every penny.
everytime i heard the narrator in trine or trine 2, the line "have you forgotten how to sit mr. miles? sit down on the animus!" came to my head :p
