This is a MONSTER of a one bar pvp build for the newly released Arcanist class in Elder Scrolls Online. You can play it as Stamina or Magicka, Battlegrounds and CP Overworld PVP, and it uses a very different set up than what is "normal." It's also VERY easy to play and new player friendly! You have to check this one out!

Coming from PvE to PvP is a big difference in toon building etc. Only been at it a cpl wks so I'm mainly in a support role but after using a very close version of this build I'm playing a more active part so thx for putting in the time and research I don't have.

nice one dooma, i like how yes u still have the beam but the build isnt focused around it like the vast majority atm, this looks very interesting and pvp noob friendly to my very pve eyes lol, cheers for this its much appreciated

I don't think Steed is super hot here personally, especially since so much of the health recovery is lost in pvp and the sustain loss from atronach means less ability spam when needed, but dude I'd also say if it works for you it works for you and don't let anyone tell you any different. ESO is a play how you want game and if moving faster is making you better at pvp than having more resources to use, then that's what works for you and thats both totally okay and awesome.

Very nice! I am pretty new to the game (just hit CP 160, mostly thanks to the XP buff event lol) and I'm trying to get sorted with all the crafting etc to try and get sets. It's damn hard work, and along with my low CP rank it's hard to find builds that even work for a newbie. That said, I still wanna give this a go as soon as I can get the gear in order.

@@Dooma I have started working on it now, but the grind is killing me. I tried searching for the gear sets to buy, but no one is selling them. After doing all the public dungeons in Vvardenfell a couple of times I got the War Maiden shoulders, but just the thought of doing all this for the rest of that set, and grinding dungeons for the others has really killed the hype for me... for my stamina build I could either craft or just buy all the set pieces no problem, got that done in like a day. Even getting Oakensoul was an easier grind than getting these sets lol
Dahsweep. Join a guild. Tell them you want to farm for warmaiden and draugurkin - you’ll get it real quick.

Check out this version: ua-cam.com/video/V042mCoTejY/v-deo.html I invested several weeks into this build play testing it everywhere and really min/maxing it to a very high level. The final version is one of the strongest pvp builds I've played, especially for 1 bar. I was just playing it on stream today haha. I plan to stream and teach it to players for the pvp event coming up as well!
Nice build, it works really well! For the one ring and neck why do you use infused vs bloodthirsty ? Oakensoul is ofc infused
Hi Jacob! Thank you, I am glad you like it! BT can work as well, but I typically prefer infused on most of my pvp set ups. I like to have the full power of my enchants all the time vs just a little more vs. low hp targets. I believe infused will be better for more people who would use a build like this than BT, especially since you end up with less scramble to stay alive moments as your HP can stay topped off a bit easier. This is particularly useful because we don't have a full defensive back bar to lean on when in trouble. I hope this helps and thank you for watching!
with the innate axiom set as an alternative to set 2, do you think it works better as light or heavy armor?
Hi Felipe! You want a mix of Light and Medium with enough light pieces to not have sustain issues.
What sets, would be optimal, if i wanted to use this setup, but focus a bit more on the beam damage?
Hi Lamb! This is exactly that! Deadly Strike is your best set to buff your beam. There isnt another set in the game (that I've found) that is going to elevate beam high enough where it put's out more dps than having Nirn for a second non-trial set.
To say it differently, Nirn's 5 set added a little over 7.5k dps on this set up. There isnt another non-trial set that will add on anything near 7.5k dps to your beam, so its better to have Nirn. You can boost your beam higher with another set, but you'll ultimate do less total damage.

For stamina, all parts of the crafting set must be medium, am I right? It's just that a lot of abilities consume mana.

Hi Matt! Thank you for watching and your patience! I just got back from an unexpected vacation of sorts haha. I am looking to have all of the changes sorted and updated on the website around this coming weekend or during the following week. It's possible as of now that we just swap to a Lighting staff, but I have a bit of testing to do.

That is a good question! I am not sure. I will keep an eye out on it and try to post it in Discord/UA-cam Community tab if I see it. I know the Stream Team will be getting Necrom codes for giveaways this quarter.
Does the 600 from war maiden work into class abilities too?
WM will apply to any abilities, from any skill tree, that deals magic damage
Thanks for the build.... unlike most builds that fail the moment I try to engage the enemy, this one is working well and is my new favorite for Cyrodiil. I used innate axiom because I don't feel like farming a set for 2 weeks. And Breton because the female toons look hotter LOL. Balorgh for head because I already had it. And I swapped out the beam for Cephaliarch's Flail because that hits way harder and everyone just dodges the beam.

@@Dooma Actually the flail isn't working out, seems it's immobilize feature rarely works on players, not sure why. I'll experiment with maybe caltrops, or whatever that fear skill is called to slow them down, or maybe silver bolts for damage to several at once, or another heal/shield type of skill.

I have a question you said inferno sharpened? The written guide says lighting? And what enchant?
Hi Voltron! The written guide is most up to date. The staff change to lightning is from Update 39’s change to destruction staff passives making lightning the ideal choice here. Also for your enchant, check out a short explanation at 7:10 in the video. When you use a poison, it negates your enchant, so it won’t ever be active. Thank you for watching!
Thank you well damn, I guess I have an inferno for when I PVE
Hitting the reset and parking my two fresh gold inferno staffs in the bank (ouch) I crafted and golded a lighting plaguebreak and lighting deadly. I use deadly set in PVE and swap out the flail for the ruin shield and I hit like a truck spamming ruinblades and beam and heavy attack for resource sustain I even got last night in a group “good god at the dps.”
Now for pvp I’m running war maiden and exact skill you listed, I find my mixing in heavy lighting attacks I can full gas on unsuspecting players with a few heavy attacks landing while I close in to ruinblade them into the after life. Thank you I’m having sooooo much fun I ran BGs 5 hours straight and rarely dying unless I just get outnumbered.
Is that build playable with sorcerer?
Hi Cordia! That is both a good idea and great question.😂 I honestly don't know. But just eyeballing it, if you used Crushing Shock + Double Dot Poisons, I can see it doing work. But I would have to play test it. Ill try to play some games with it this week. Thank you!

Double dot poison…? Could you explain that to a new player?
Hi Chris! This is a great question and also a good reminder for myself to go a bit more in depth when explaining this in the future. "Double Dot" is just "ESO Slang" for a certain poison that has 2 damage over time effects. There are 2 options. You can craft or buy them. The crafted name is "Damage Health Poison IX." The other option is "Crown Lethal Poison" which you can get from crates, various in game things, and bought in the crown store. I wouldn't ever buy them with IRL money though. They can be crafted with gold or made with in game materials.
They used to be used a bit in PVE bit and in PVP but now they are mainly just used in PVP for certain builds where you need extra DOT pressure.

Sorry…, no I’m not on pc I’m on an Xbox. The only thing I don’t have is a fire staff everything else is up too par with you build. I’m running war maiden and drauger in all light with a heavy helm (rng). Feeling very squishy atm.
What's the point of using Champion Points in these builds if they don't work in Battleground Arena?
For players who want to play in overworld pvp.
I hate it when PVP stuff is Trials gear.

Hi Gade! Haha, I wasn't trying to hide any info. I just meant in general. How to move around Arcanists, dodge rolls away, using line of sight, running circles around them, etc. People in general are just wising up to "not eating five seconds of Goku's Kamehameha into the face." Now the second beam goes out, people are dodging away and avoiding the damage.
Lags makes it so if they are moving at all it barely hits
