THANK YOU for watching. This is only the second ever build I felt warranted the "Perfected" title on the channel. It's that good. I hope you enjoy and I appreciate you.
@@DoomaI'm currently in the process of making this build. I'm gonna try it out with stage 4 vamp and replacing recuperative treatise with race against time. The snare immune speed into invisible is gonna let me Regen magic while I get away, hopefully
@@CoolGuy-pn1vm Hi Guy! Vamp stage 4 is going to leave you gassed on sustain more than not for sure with the 4% additional cost to all abilities (when played properly). You are also giving DKs and everyone using the Way of Fire set (which is a very large portion of people) a free 7% damage increase on you to their dots, which you cant shake off, only heal through, further draining your resources. It's going to be 100:1 scenarios where the Vamp 4 pays off over 3 in that context for the sprint cost reduction benefit you would gain. Also, an important component of Treatise is not just the sustain, but the additional damage is provides and the extra penetration you get for having it slotted from the Arcanist Passive: Herald of the Tome - Splintered Secrets, of which either component can often be the difference between a kill or not. Then you have the passive Crux generation aspect of Treatise, which is a huge value over time. Treatise is an incredibly powerful utility ability when you factor in everything it's adding to a build, passives included. Lastly, most of the skill Race Against Time will be redundant as you already get Major Expedition from the Bow Passive - Hasty Retreat and the crit buff you get from it (Minor Force) is the same buff from Oakensoul (named buffs don't stack). Slotting it for what's left over, the snare break/immunity for 4 seconds and the tiny shield from the Psijic passive - Concentrated Barrier definitely isn't worth all that you lose from Treatise. It's a fairly large step down. I absolutely love the out of the box thinking. That's what it's all about right there. I also thank you for sharing your ideas. I hope this gives a bit of context for you to help out as well for general build creation. Thank you for watching!
I'm not a PVP player, but I wanted to have a strong but not so complicated build for the Mayhem-Event. That's what I found here, the Arcanist is incredibly fun (Cyro,BG´s,Group-IC) and you can fight well and successfully even without much practice. Thank you very much for sharing
Hi Markus! Thank you for coming back and letting me know. I am really glad you enjoyed the event with the build! This one is one of my all time favoriites!
This genuinely made my day. Thank you for this. It feels good to be seen after the time, effort, and passion that goes into some of the guides. I appreciate you.🙏
So I’ve made this build exactly to the specifications of the video and I’ve just passed the 2 million AP mark in cyro, I haven’t played any BG’s yet, but I can say that this build is simple to play, incredibly survivable, and terribly powerful. The ease with which you can devour opponents and break off is astounding. Dooma, if you’re reading this, you knocked this build out of the park. 10/10 recommend.
Heeyyy it's the best mustache on UA-cam! Haha, thank you so much for coming back and letting me know. I love to hear it and appreciate it. I'm glad the build worked out so well for you. I appreciate the comment. 🙏
The is one of the most precise and impressive PVP guide builds Ive seen. the explanation and weaving of the whys and why nots to abilities and passives is so well thought out. I just called out another for not using something better for their build thats kind of obvious and they said they'd have to try that and im like smh.
Nirn isnt a very good pvp set for a few reasons. One is the actual damage output from the proc isnt all that hot and then its very conditional in order to receive full damage. Its ground based, has a visual and audio tell, and is delayed. So most proficient players are going to avoid it more times than not, and just due to the general chaotic nature of pvp, people will dodge it on accident just by moving around. Even if the damage was decent, it doesnt accommodate the build much due to its proc conditions. Rele is one of the best single target procs in the game and it works together in synergy with poison injection (rele scales up over time and inject scales up as they lose health) to where the lower hp the target drops down to, the more of a monster you become to deal with and it just becomes more and more difficult to try and survive through until eventually for many players/builds it's simple just not possible to keep up with. If you are by chance looking for a replacement for relequen, I have this version of the build here which was the previous version before the "Perfected" one went out. It's still just as strong as shown in the video, just a bit less strong than the Perfected version. ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html
Hi Jimmy! You are very welcome and thank you for the kind words! I am actually plaything this build tomorrow on stream. I am going to start with a mini tutorial as well.
I farmed the gear for this build and was so excited to try it. When I did I got absolutely mashed. I realised it was probably just me and not the build. I practiced and watched the how to play section on repeat then it just clicked. Now that I get the idea of breaking sight and coming back buffed this build absolutely slaps! Give it the chance. It’s amazing. Changed pvp completely for me!
Hi there! First, thank you for the comment and apologies for the super delayed response. 🙏 I am just returning from being out from surgery. I want to take a moment to share something with you. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this comment. I just randomly eyeballed a few comments while down the past few weeks, and yours was one of them on a particularly rough day. I just wanted you to know, your comment genuinely made my day better, and on that particular day, I really needed it. Thank you for that. I deal with countless comments, every single week, with people who jump to the gear screen shot of the video, it doesnt work for them because they didnt actually watch anything to learn how to play it (which after you have been doing this for a while, you can identify a lot of them immediately by what they say), give it four minutes in the game, then come back and toxic rage comment on how it didnt work for them or it's "trash." It get's exhausting trying to walk those players backwards and explain that the issue is their individual ability and/or game knowledge and show them where and why. It contributes to the burn out fairly hard of all of this dealing with it endlessly, especially when that specific personality type is so prevalent in today's online world. You tried it, it didnt work for you, realized that it was probably you not taking the time to learn it, put in the time, and made it happen. Thank you for having that character and thank you again for the comment. I respect you immensely for it.
@@DoomaThank you for the build. I hope everyone else gives it the chance it deserves! Just to add too. Getting the relequen raid gear isn’t even an effort because your two button arcanist build made farming it a breeze. Not only that but in a lot of the raid groups i was dealing over 35% of the group damage. Madness. I play eso daily because your builds make it fun for me. Thank you.
Second comment just to say that this is less of a build video than a complete tutorial on how to pilot the build. It is very well done! Thank you for putting so much work into this production.
I recently came across your content, and I must say it's the best - well-informed and articulated. I'm thrilled to have found your videos! Please keep them coming. Regarding this build, can it be used for both PvE and PvP? That would be fantastic if it's true!
Hi Raphael! Thank you so much for the kind words, that was awesome of you. Check out the PVE section of the video at 19:25 I go over some of the issues for PVE with this build and how to fix them for it. Thank you for watching!
This is the first time I saw a video from you and immediately subbed, really great video, without a doubt one of the best if not the best eso content creators
Imperial is not horrible but its also not ideal. Before you spend any money, try it out first and see if its something you enjoy. If you want to lean into it, then I would suggest a High Elf or a Breton. Thank you for watching!
Since I will be reconstructing them, running Relequen Jewelry and Draugrkin Bow won't change anything for this will it? It's just a matter of my stickerbook for Relequen is missing bow. I also prefer infused on the jewelry because that is going to increase the potency of your vigor, where bloodthirsty is not. Thank you for the build, I've had an Arcanist waiting for this one.
You are very welcome and thank you for watching! You should be good. As long as your chest, pants, helm, and one minor piece is medium (rele), which it should be if you are just swapping 2 jewelry for a weapon.
Dooma you are awesome I have built this exactly as you spec’d I’m just getting my bow skill up and then it’s completed! I can’t wait to raise hell in BGs!
This guide is the reason I play Arcanist now. Used to be a DK but gave up. You're guide is the best! Very detailed down to the ground where even I (a newbie) can understand. Quick questions though: 1. What costume do you use? It looks soooo good! 2. For the CP traits, I'm unable to put points on those mentioned. Do I need to be at a specific CP lvl to unlock them? or do I need to unlock the path for it?
Hi Jet! Thank you so much for the kind words and I am glad you enjoyed the video! Here is a short fashion guide for the build: ua-cam.com/video/ihpwCB4tV2M/v-deo.html For CP, you reach maximum offense potential at around ~1250 CP and maximum offense + defense at around ~1550 CP. So if you have less than one of those values, you may need just a bit more CP. If you are above, it's possible a star was missed to connect the path in the tree.
You are very welcome! "Multi Effect" is weird cording. It should be more clear. The two most common jewelry enchants people use are: 1) INCREASE MAGICAL HARM. Also known as "spell damage enchant" jewelry. 2) INCREASE PHYSICAL HARM. Also known as "weapon damage enchant" for jewelry. Both of them are displayed as "multi effect" because they also provide sustain. It's confusing for everyone. Don't worry. Here is an enchanting chart to help in the future: www.thegameroom.tv/enchanting And here is the written guide for the build with a gear chart to help as well: www.thegameroom.tv/arcanist-builds (Click ONE BAR DPS under PVP).
Great build and explanation and no beam! Reli is bis for this build but I dont have it and want to try the build with something that might work well. I thought of Orders wrath - for crit and healing boost. Swamp raider to boost poisen and the injection combo or some other bow oriented set, maybe even venomous spite / plaguebreak etc. Any suggestions?
Hi David! Thank you! I recommend trying this one out. It's the previous version of this build. It's not outdated at all and is still just as relevant as what's in the video, it's just been improved with the perfected version. But I still feel it's a very strong build even in it's previous form and the alternative gear to Rele in the guide is much easier to get: ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html (Also, I couldn't get a crit set up to perform nearly as well as a flat damage increase set up, or a proc set up. It's just not as reliable. I tried everything including Order's Wrath. It may just be my play style as well, but numbers are numbers and I got better results without a crit set up. Maybe it will be different for you however. I hope this helps!)
Hi Adrian, thank you! It's possible, but with a run-and-gun play style, it's much smoother gameplay and more damage over time to animation cancel with light attacks like you were parsing. The only time I really medium/heavy with this set up is for resource recovery. It may work for you though, it's worth at least trying out once. Thank you for sharing your idea and for watching!
It can be solo'd. Here is a guide someone put up on the forums a while back: forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/557286/veteran-unhallowed-grave-solo-all-bosses-magdk (edit: I haven't actually watched it. I don't know how good it is. It's just what I found quickly trying to get you a resource to help. I hope it works for you!)
I've been messing around with this a little. Still have some upgrades needed. Enough though that it is locked into my armory. I've about tapped my finger off the past couple of days though playing it. I know you said its not the greatest in the video, but I really am curious about Lightening Staff. Does the 2H heavy attack work with the Relequen set? Would you pair it with K.Slayer or Deadly or something else entirely? Sorry if any of this doesn't make sense. Wacked out on medication late at night while writing it.
Hi Jnaathra! Haha I love this comment, thank you. I am glad you have enjoyed the build so much haha. 2h would change everything about this entirely. I would have to put it all back on the table and see where it all landed with it. I do think it changes the function to an entirely different build however, so that is also something to consider. Also, I hope you are feeling better with whatever had you on meds!
Thank you Chris! You should be good. It's going to be a bit of a damage loss, but the Argonian potion passive is going to come in clutch at times as well. It's not ideal, but it shouldn't prevent you from playing the build in any way.
Love this video, liked and subbed :) What do you think about Imperial as a race? Is it a big problem? I dont wanna race change unless I am missing a lot.. Thank you :)
Thank you so much Michael, I am glad you liked the video! You should be fine as an Imperial. It's not the best choice, but it's also far from the worst. I wouldn't spend any money on a race change for sure unless you just really want to lean into the build. You should get to experience it just fine, mostly as intended, with an Imperial.
Hi man. Thanks for the build. I’m looking for bow arcanist build for a while. I’m curious if replacing rele with way of fire makes sense in perspective of ease of play. Its hard to keep stacks of rele as you mentioned. I dont want to stress myself of thinking about rele stacks when there is an easy version. What do you think of poison arrow + fire set combination in this build? Does fire set procs on runeblades?
Hi there! You definitely can swap it out. Check out this video here of a recent NB bow build: ua-cam.com/video/3z14xA6u5p8/v-deo.html&t That is an incredibly strong 1 bar bow build using mostly what you are asking. I took the time to move that set up to every class and it ended up working well on several of them Arcanist included. Although it does change the nature of the build a bit and you lose out on some of the pressure to take out really tanky opponents. It's still a great well rounded option to try and see if it works for you though.
@@Dooma Hey, thanks for the response. I just discovered your channel and I'm really enjoying your content. The quality is one of the best in ESO community. Keep it going.
Hi Dagoth! Your weapon slot counts as 2. So for this set up from the video, the 5-set is coming from: Shoulder (1) Chest (1) Pants (1) Bow (2) I hope this helps and thank you for watching!
hey, I've been playing Arcanist since the beginning and I'm looking for an arc build because I've always wanted to try and your build is crazy!!! thank you very much, so now I am subscribed to your channel and I try not to miss anything! I just have one last question, what set are you wearing? I just find him completely crazy! thank you again and keep it up 🙏
Hi Richard! Thank you for the nice words and I am glad you are enjoying the build! Here is the fashion guide for the character: ua-cam.com/video/ihpwCB4tV2M/v-deo.html Thank you for watching!
Without major or minor breach on this solo build. How will you go against decent pvper with their major and minor resolve,32k hp and somewhat meta double arena weapons front and back bar? 9k pen is alot to miss out on. Mind you they will be major and minor breaching you.
Hi Jason! The technical answer is: Sh*tloads of damage. Kidding/not kidding. Maj. Breach only became so common after the Vate Ice Staff became meta. Before that, it was commonly in niche builds and DKs who consistently brought Maj Breach to the table. Many NBs dont run Mark. Caltrops, Crushing Weapon, Sword n' Board Puncture, and Boneyard were all commonly used in niche builds, and Werewolves are a bit of an exception. It wasnt until everyone started using Vate Ice Staff (+hybridization) that everyone started to have breach. The only real exception are the mag builds who worked in ele drain like sorcs and what not. It was semi-common for stam set ups to not have it. It wasn't nearly as a uniform staple as it is today. I am not saying the 'old way' is better, I am just demonstrating that it's not a requirement to have an S tier build. There is more to consider and each build is different. Ive ran many builds for years that never had either breach. Obviously it can only help you to have it, but NOT having it doesnt make a build invalid, at all. For me, I am a results orientated player. I dont care about anyone's opinions or what they feel about what is good vs. bad. I care about 2 things 1) show me the numbers and 2) show me the performance. Those two things immediately invalidates anyone's opinions, including mine, in place of evidence. For this build, both of those things are at the highest possible level for a 1 bar build in the current state of the game, without Breach. And with what is available in the game to GET breach, would only weaken the build. Here is a list of abilities that provide it if you are curious: eso-hub.com/en/buffs-debuffs/major-breach Also, this isnt a solo build at all. I talk about that aspect in the video when I discuss its weaknesses. Your biggest defense is your mobility. If someone is out muscling you, you leave or positionally out play them. Not stand toe-to-toe getting out damaged. That's the opposite of how this build would function for success vs. exactly how a DK would be able to turtle up and then turn things around while standing flat footed. Its an apples vs. oranges thing. Hard to line them up 1:1 because the play style and function is so different. I hope this helps and please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thank you! I'm going to create an arcanist today. :) I'd also love to see a sorcerer build without the matriarch. I have vision issues and the flapping with the flapping noise drives me bonkers. Is that viable? Maybe there is spell crafting that can change her size and appearance? Love, love your channel!
You are very welcome Agapanthah! Since this latest patch and shield/Sorcerer buffs, no pet Sorcs are very popular right now! I have a build already done I havent gotten to publish just yet, I'll take a look and see if it makes sense to release it now, or after u42 with some changes.
Hi Mayorez! For solo content it works totally fine. If you want to get the most out of it for group content, then Precise on the bow and a 1 piece Slimecraw helm is most ideal. You can use Slimecraw in solo content as well if you like to keep the pve set up consistent for you if you changed the bow trait.
New player here :) The guide is fire. My question is thou do i keep the bow for the pve spec you mentioned in the end or is that a staff (i prefer bow gameplay over staff).
Hi Larsen, welcome to ESO! You can keep a bow if you prefer it for sure. Youll probably get a bit more dps in group content with a lightning staff, but you should have more than enough damage for everything 4 man related. Thank you for watching!
hey man looks fantastic but have a question for you.... If you don't have those 2 sets or the transmutes to make them, what crafted stuff or other sets to use until you have the 2 main sets on your written guide?
Hi Redbird! Thank you! The previous version of the build, still works exactly as strong as when it was posted. The perfected version is just a bit better. The previous version used a few different things such as no trial set. It also goes over some set options. On the written guide, at the bottom is this video. Scroll just past that and there is a second video. That video is the previous version (with no attached written guide). It's still going to have Dragrkin, which is kind of the core of the build. I would make that a mission to finish that farm before really leaning into the build. It really makes the build shine.
Thanks for getting back to me. Have a couple of more questions. Does it matter how the gear is as long as traits and weights are the same. For example can the bow be DRAUGRKIN. I was looking and if I get the bow from DRAUGRKIN then I can make this work and still have 4 medium 3 Light.@@Dooma
Amazing amazing AMAZING… super fun!!! Quick question on the jewelry glyphs…. Weapon spell damage with magic or stam recovery or a combo of both? Also using on my argonian and works pretty good 👌👍🏻
Hi Wasp! I am really glad you are enjoying the build, thank you for trying it out! For the jewelry traits I would suggest narrowing the gap on whatever your weakness is with your play style. For me, I aggressively dodge roll, often times to a fault, so I have leaned more towards Phys Harm (Stam recovery). If you find yourself free more and are spamming Runeblades until your out of Magicka constantly (I've been there tons of times as well), then more Mag recovery would be better. I think the last set up I ran was 1 Mag 2 Stam. But, that was at the very very end. After I was streaming it after the video went live. During all the weeks of play testing, I was using triple Mag almost exclusively. I would suspect most people would need more Mag recovery, at least to start. This is a great question, thank you. In hindsight, I wish I would have added this to the video. That little bit of sustain difference can make all the difference sometimes.
Hi CJ! Check out the previous version of the build before the "Perfected" one was published. It's very similar and in the video, I list more gear options for you I believe answering what you need exactly. ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html
If you are ever curious about an update to a build, it's always best to check the website. This has been overhauled for the current patch. There is a recent video on the channel and the written guide it updated. Video: ua-cam.com/video/rebajFByBZ0/v-deo.html&t Written (One Bar under PvP): www.thegameroom.tv/arcanist-builds
Jabplar is kind of in a really rough place for PvP currently. Very few people are doing super well with it and the ones I have seen that were really making moves with it were stam with BitingJabs, not mag with Puncturing Sweep. I am sure there are a few people dominating with mag jabs, but those are the people who will be dominating regardless of what they play. In general its a weak set up currently. A much superior option if you are interested is the Rangeplar. Its a very strong version of the Magplar using Draugrkin and Crushing Shock. Here is the video guide, or the written guide is on the website if you just wanted to eyeball it real quick. ua-cam.com/video/uhcD00X-R0w/v-deo.html Thank you for watching!
Fun fact: I was looking for a MMORPG game to play. Came across this video, this video alone made me buy the game and start grinding out the gear n the skills. Amazing job putting the video together. Looking forward to finish the set and start pvping. Loving the game thanks to this video. 🙏🏽💪🏽
Hey there Magencia! What an amazing comment. Thank you so much. This is what it's all about for me and I appreciate you taking the time to come back and leave your feedback. 💪
Not a bother at all! Happy to help. I think this would depend from player to player. The build is ran off of split resources (it uses both mag and stam semi equally) and is balanced very tightly around this idea. Dropping 2 light pieces for 2 medium pieces would change things a bit that may change how the build feels a bit. It's definitely something worth trying if you are really enjoying the build.
Hey dooma, I have tried this one and the thing is, I made it exactly like this except it's stamina based since I made it with my stamine pve build and I wasn't paying attention LOL. It still works so far but I should ask you, does it matter if I keep it like this or is going magicka gonna give me some advantages over stamina?
Hi Darksu! Your damage is typically impacted by the following: The highest value of your (Weapon Damage or Spell Damage) + the highest value of your (Max Magicka or Max Stamina). Usually, it doesn't matter how you mix and match it as long as you can sustain it. However, there are a few exceptions such as Templars having a rare buff to boost Spell Damage and DKs having the same to boost Weapon Damage to name a few. That said, from a gameplay perspective, its often times a good idea to make whatever your max resource is, also what you are sustaining with your set up. For example, if you had a build that had a higher Max Magicka set up than Stamina and the majority of your abilities costing you Magicka, it would make sense to make sure your consumables, jewelry enchants, cp, etc. are supporting Magicka recovery. You kind of picked a unicorn build to experience this and ask this question because a build like this, that (truly) runs off split resources, is a bit rare. It doesn't make it better or worse, its just an outlier build out of the normal scope of set ups. (This is all a very general overview, there are many variables that contribute to different types of set ups). I hope this helps and thank you for watching!
I know I'm late to the party, but if you were to swap Relequen to something, what would it be? I'm loving how the playstyle of the build looks and want to give it a go, but I don't really want to bother having to grind a whole trial to get this thing going considering I've never done any group content in the game thus far. It kinda feels like the set is at the core of what makes the build tick so I suppose it doesn't really have any alternatives, does it?
Hey Gameroom! im 100% new to ESO but would you be willing to tell me what skills you are using? im starting out so i dont think i have the same skills as you..
Welcome to ESO MrRussia! If you go to the written guide here: www.thegameroom.tv/arcanist-builds then click "ONE BAR DPS" under "PVP" you can click on the skills and it will take you to a page that will show you what the base skill and the alternative morph is, to help you find is easier.
I honestly have no idea haha. I didnt even notice until someone else pointed it out as well. It may have just been a random weather cycle, it could be tied to an event that was taking place, I really dont know. 😂
The 1 bar damage version on the website was parsing right at 100k, but there has been a couple nerfs since then, so just a random ballpark without actually parsing myself to find out, Id say probably around 90k or so. But, that was before u41, so that could be a bit higher or lower depending on how status effects effect the damage. u42 is around the corner as well, so more big changes coming likely. We find out today with patch notes!
@@jamminjimmy4545 There is definitely something wrong there haha. Just your dots alone should be more than 15k. Check out #1 here: www.thegameroom.tv/build-faq I don't know what the actual dps is, so I can't give you a specific number since it's a solo build, but I can at least take a look and see if there is anything fundamental missing.
So I was using the solo build for my arcanist with the Hexos ward/deadly strike but it’s a staff build and I’d love to try the bow setup. What set should I use instead of Hexos for pve? I like the deadly strike
Hi Venti! Check out the builds on our website. There are several Arcanist builds with different types of set ups for you to try and see different options that may work well for you: www.thegameroom.tv/arcanist-builds If you want a quick answer, you cant go wrong with Deadly/Pillar of Nirn currently. Even after Pillar's upcoming nerf, it's still going to be a solid choice.
@@Dooma okay so I’m ADDICTED to this build I love it so much! Is there any reason you’re not using flail instead of runeblades? Flail works as an execute also so it would out dps runeblades in the long run wouldnt it? Plus it spreads out sustain more. For pve that is. Runeblades for pvp is busted 😂
Hi Geovanni! Here is the previous version of the build (still completely relevant). It uses War Maiden in the place of Relequen so you can purchase that from traders in off-traits for cheap just to try it out and experience the set up. ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html
Hi Skywan! Do you not have access to it or just havent farmed it yet? Spending the time to farm it will pay off fairly significantly for this set up. If you can't get into the dungeon from not having Harrowstorm, then you can use War Maiden until you can get it. But it is a bit weaker. Here is the previous version using that: ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html
I created an arcanist just for this build which also got me to do my first trial. Thank you! Also, could I use a Draugrkin bow and Relequen jewelry? Would that mess with the build at all?
Awesome Brady, I hope you enjoy it! You can swap those out with no problems since it wont affect any of the armor weights on the body. Thank you for watching!
My I ask why you went down the magicka route rather then Stam? What was your thought on this? :) As still fairly new player I love my Arcanist main. Tho I have been playing dual dagger stam since launch. I more or less only do Pve content. Advice? :D
Hi Geralt! It's just what accommodated the build the most. There are a lot of things at play with the build to make it work like it does and would be difficult to summarize in a yt comment. The build is ran off split resources equally, but with a bigger magicka strain (with abilities) as your main spammable for damage is magicka and your main defensive shield that you spam at times is also magicka. You could technically swap stuff around and make it all stamina with the same play style, but it wouldnt necessarily make it better. In eso now, most things are a hybrid (mix of stam/mag) to some degree now. The days of "pure stam" and "pure magicka" are long gone with the exception of a very few niche set ups. Things are very flexible on how you set things up.
@@Dooma wow, I see. Yeah from I heard from my friend who played a lot of eso before. He said most played full mana or stam. Not sure if it only for pve players? Or if it both for pvp and pve to have a balanced set up now days? But thank you for the replay, as I did some pvp during a holiyday event. Did dps, but got one shooted by bow builds. Thats why I guess the extra HP comes in handy hehe
Hi Kronik! You can play it without Rele. Here is the previous version of the build using War Maiden in it's place: ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html
Hi Montes! Mag isnt always superior for sure, it just worked out that way for this specific build. There are tons of awesome stam Arcanist builds for all aspects ESO. You could technically convert this to stam, but you'll have to play with sustain values to figure out where some things need to be changed. This build is ran very closely with split resources, so it's balanced very closely around that and the play style. If you wanted it to play the same, youll have to make some accommodations to make it happen, which it may not fully work out 1:1. Id have to spend some times play testing to know for sure. Great question!
@@Dooma On the note of stamina, I really like the Briarheart set (the one used in the immortal video) and am wondering if something like that could be viable in PVP?
Hi there! The slottables are shown in the video. If you are wanting a full CP breakdown, check out #3 here which may help a bit: www.thegameroom.tv/build-faq
Hi Will! I am not no. I don't think its worth it fully when played properly with the sustain loss. If you are playing rolly polly and abusing Runeward, then being a vamp is actually going to hinder you. If you are playing a bit slower and maybe a bit slower to react to things and taking additional damage along the way, then I can see vamp being beneficial. I think it's one of those "individual experiences may vary" things, but I would suggest first starting without vamp and see if it works for you.
My guildmates desaprove the build, but me the stubborn guy tried and it's awesome. Some ppl don't understand what is an archer playstyle. It works and is funny to play. Ty
Oh, the arcanist skill that put buffs and regen Magicka in my build was replaced with Blinding Flare (and all passive that come with it) and oaken soul dont give, and I put a heavy head to be a little safier. Good penetration, regen and resistances. Everything is working.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this comment! It really did help make my day. That's whats its all about for me right there. Super cool you found value out of it in under 50s. 💪
Haha you know what, I didn't even really notice that at all. But you are totally right, its usually "grey" and darker in IC. I honestly have no idea. Maybe just a random weather cycle, or maybe we are too busy sweating in IC to notice the sky and it's always had weather cycles. 😂
Thank you Motsy! This one really is something special for sure. Going down as one of my all time favorites. I am really glad so many players have gotten to experience it in its original form currently before any potential changes in the future to the class.
Infused vs Bloodthirsty is genuinely just a choice between your favorite flavor tbh. (NOTE im talking PvE, i dont PvP like at all) they are quite literally hot swappable. provide very very VERY similar numbers (I think triple infused squeaks ahead just barely in paper as in standing in front of a dummy watching your CMX numbers) I personally prefer triple BT on all my builds simply because towards the end of the fight people sometimes get cocky and thats wen wipes happen. my thought process is more damage towards the end means boss is alive shorter, which is less time to wipe. but really, its just flavor I will say though that using both (2 BT, 1 INF and 2 INF, 1 BT) is inferior in every way to either going triple BT or triple inf.
Thank you Cobra! Check out the previous version of this build. It's still just as relevant as when I posted it with the exception of using a Lightning staff or bow now (the written guide it updated for that part). It doesn't use any trial gear at all. Thank you for watching! ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html

@@DoomaI'm currently in the process of making this build.
I'm gonna try it out with stage 4 vamp and replacing recuperative treatise with race against time.
The snare immune speed into invisible is gonna let me Regen magic while I get away, hopefully
@@Doomaplus I think the Crit buff stacks with oaken
Thanks!

Hey Doom !!
Testing this this weekend !!
Thank you so much !!
Hi Jose! Awesome, I hope you enjoy it and you are very welcome! 🙏
The is one of the most precise and impressive PVP guide builds Ive seen. the explanation and weaving of the whys and why nots to abilities and passives is so well thought out. I just called out another for not using something better for their build thats kind of obvious and they said they'd have to try that and im like smh.
Thank you so much for the kind words Oreo, I appreciate you! 🙏
ok sir so make me smarter and let me in on the secret over why relequen and not pillar of nirn.@@Dooma
It's still just as strong as shown in the video, just a bit less strong than the Perfected version. ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html
no no i was just curious im literally farming perfected relquen now. and realized nirrn is stationary vs rele being on the person@@Dooma

Thank you.
O yihhh updated 1 bar for arcanist!

hey dooma ! another top tier build, as always :) i am imperial on my arc, should i change or will it be good ?
Haha Thank you and that's awesome Bryan, I hope you enjoy it!
This guide is the reason I play Arcanist now. Used to be a DK but gave up. You're guide is the best! Very detailed down to the ground where even I (a newbie) can understand.
Quick questions though:
Here is a short fashion guide for the build: ua-cam.com/video/ihpwCB4tV2M/v-deo.html
For CP, you reach maximum offense potential at around ~1250 CP and maximum offense + defense at around ~1550 CP. So if you have less than one of those values, you may need just a bit more CP. If you are above, it's possible a star was missed to connect the path in the tree.
@@Dooma Thanks! Another question: What do you mean by Multi Effect Enchantment? I can't seem to find a clear answer on Google regarding that
You are very welcome! "Multi Effect" is weird cording. It should be more clear. The two most common jewelry enchants people use are:
1) INCREASE MAGICAL HARM. Also known as "spell damage enchant" jewelry.
2) INCREASE PHYSICAL HARM. Also known as "weapon damage enchant" for jewelry.
Both of them are displayed as "multi effect" because they also provide sustain. It's confusing for everyone. Don't worry.
Here is an enchanting chart to help in the future: www.thegameroom.tv/enchanting
And here is the written guide for the build with a gear chart to help as well: www.thegameroom.tv/arcanist-builds (Click ONE BAR DPS under PVP).
But I still feel it's a very strong build even in it's previous form and the alternative gear to Rele in the guide is much easier to get: ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html
(Also, I couldn't get a crit set up to perform nearly as well as a flat damage increase set up, or a proc set up. It's just not as reliable. I tried everything including Order's Wrath. It may just be my play style as well, but numbers are numbers and I got better results without a crit set up. Maybe it will be different for you however. I hope this helps!)
thx, will check it out > for got about war maiden@@Dooma
@@davidmacvicar334 You are very welcome!
I think you forgot to mention that your can heavy attack weave with the Oakensoul ring because it has empowered? Great Video!
3 minutes into the video and I’m thinking, “dang this is some peak video editing.”

Ahhh shit!! You time to build an Archanist!!
Cool build, I'll try it. Can you add style to your videos? Cool skin&body marking, what is that body marking?
Ill have a very short video soon showing the style and thank you!
Really want to try this but missing Draugrkin pieces. Can you solo UG?
Yes you can on a oakensorc. Bring a companion
Thank you!🙏
It can be solo'd.
Great video. Amy suggestions to use an argonian. It is what my archanist is for the time being and can’t change it right now.

Here is a list of abilities that provide it if you are curious: eso-hub.com/en/buffs-debuffs/major-breach
Also, this isnt a solo build at all.
@@Dooma I'm jazzed! It makes sense to wait until the next update. Personally, I have high hopes for spellcrafting. Thank you again.
Same here! I am really looking forward to it. Opens the door to tons of new set ups and ways to play. I'm here for it!
Dooma, do you even recommend sticking with the sharpened bow for PVE content?
Dooma your are defining 1 bar builds!!!!
Thank you! 🙏
hey man looks fantastic but have a question for you....
You are very welcome! With any 1 bar build typically as long as the overall armor weights dont change you are good to go without any loss.
@@DoomaI have an imperial arcanist as well… imperial over argonian?
For sure!
Is there any replacement or alternatives to Draugrkin sets? Doesn't matter if lower damage output or efficiency
Hi CJ! Check out the previous version of the build before the "Perfected" one was published. It's very similar and in the video, I list more gear options for you I believe answering what you need exactly. ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html
Any changes to this build for patch 43? Scribed skills? Vampire or nah? Gearing changes? Etc.
Like, could you potentially use the healing version of Ulfsild's Contingency in place of Resolving Vigor?

Could this same setup be effective on a Templar?
With jabs beam solar barrage vigorous and breath of life ?
Or does draugrkin only affect jabs once
Jabplar is kind of in a really rough place for PvP currently. Very few people are doing super well with it and the ones I have seen that were really making moves with it were stam with BitingJabs, not mag with Puncturing Sweep. I am sure there are a few people dominating with mag jabs, but those are the people who will be dominating regardless of what they play. In general its a weak set up currently. A much superior option if you are interested is the Rangeplar. Its a very strong version of the Magplar using Draugrkin and Crushing Shock. Hey there Magencia! What an amazing comment. Thank you so much. This is what it's all about for me and I appreciate you taking the time to come back and leave your feedback. 💪
not trying to be annoying master Dooma but would a draugkin bow and 1 more medium piece of rele on the body mean more dps?
Hi Grym! Here is the previous version (that is still just as relevant) that uses a bit different gear: ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html
How's your imperial city is on daylight
I honestly have no idea haha. I didnt even notice until someone else pointed it out as well. It may have just been a random weather cycle, it could be tied to an event that was taking place, I really dont know. 😂
Been running this for about a week now in pvp. I was wondering how much damage you think the pve version parses?
The 1 bar damage version on the website was parsing right at 100k, but there has been a couple nerfs since then, so just a random ballpark without actually parsing myself to find out, Id say probably around 90k or so. But, that was before u41, so that could be a bit higher or lower depending on how status effects effect the damage. u42 is around the corner as well, so more big changes coming likely. We find out today with patch notes!
Hm. Am I doing something wrong? I’m trying to runeblade runeblade beam and I’m only hitting like 15k dps lol
@@jamminjimmy4545 There is definitely something wrong there haha. Just your dots alone should be more than 15k.
Check out #1 here: www.thegameroom.tv/build-faq
I don't know what the actual dps is, so I can't give you a specific number since it's a solo build, but I can at least take a look and see if there is anything fundamental missing.
So I was using the solo build for my arcanist with the Hexos ward/deadly strike but it’s a staff build and I’d love to try the bow setup. What set should I use instead of Hexos for pve? I like the deadly strike
Hi Venti! Check out the builds on our website. There are several Arcanist builds with different types of set ups for you to try and see different options that may work well for you: www.thegameroom.tv/arcanist-builds
If you want a quick answer, you cant go wrong with Deadly/Pillar of Nirn currently.
@@Dooma I’m assuming you don’t run flail because maybe runeblades parses higher because it scales off magicka?
i only count four pieces of Relequen's how do you get the 5 set bonus ty
Hi Michael! In ESO, your weapons spot on each bar counts as 2. Thank you for watching!
With the PVE variant would I use a slimecraw head for extra crit?
Hi Venti! You nailed it! That is your best option and would result in the highest DPS increase.
Do you have any substitute gear sets that are easier to get or craft while I work on getting the required gear sets?
Hi Geovanni! Here is the previous version of the build (still completely relevant). It uses War Maiden in the place of Relequen so you can purchase that from traders in off-traits for cheap just to try it out and experience the set up. ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html
Awesome love it 💪
💪!
Is this only a four piece set of relequins?
Hi Jaymz! The weapon counts as 2 for set bonuses.
@@Dooma oh okay, thank you!!
@@jamminjimmy4545 Yessirr! 💪
if we dont have daugrkin's set yet what can i use ?
Bro u my hero. I’m laughing so hard at this epic-ness
Haha awesome Jared! Getchyou some! 💪
I really like this build would it still be viable without the relequen set?
Hi Kronik! You can play it without Rele. Here is the previous version of the build using War Maiden in it's place: ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html
Is there a stamina version of this or is Magicka always superior ?
Where is the champion points setup
Hi there! The slottables are shown in the video. If you are wanting a full CP breakdown, check out #3 here which may help a bit: www.thegameroom.tv/build-faq
What’s your armor style??
Here you go! ua-cam.com/video/ihpwCB4tV2M/v-deo.html
I can fux with this build. I'm definitely intrigued by no beam, but it definitely makes sense why.
Gettem Lonnie! 💪
No Vamp 3 on this build?
If I don’t have released what can I replace it with?
Hi Chapter! Here is the previous version (that is still just as relevant) that uses a bit different gear: ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html
hi! what kind of tattoo is this?
Hi Д К! I made a short 2 minute video for it: ua-cam.com/video/ihpwCB4tV2M/v-deo.html
Awesome Hastriv! Thank you so much for coming back and letting me know and I am really glad you enjoy the build! 🙏It's one of my all time favorites!
Hello @Dooma ,hello everyone thanks for the effort, maybe the perfect build for nightblade? i will be the happy man on eso :P
You are very welcome and we will see!
Still using this without scribing DLc and it pops.
for when I feel pvp vibes again! lol
GETTEM AMBRIEL! 💪
This build is great at even lvl48. I don't even use potions. This build isn't complete and I won't die. As a new player, this helped A LOT
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this comment! It really did help make my day. That's whats its all about for me right there. Super cool you found value out of it in under 50s. 💪
Wait wait wait.. Hol’up. How did you play IC in daylight??? 😮🤔 I have never seen that.
Haha you know what, I didn't even really notice that at all. But you are totally right, its usually "grey" and darker in IC. I honestly have no idea. Maybe just a random weather cycle, or maybe we are too busy sweating in IC to notice the sky and it's always had weather cycles. 😂
You’ve done such a good job on this build. I see a nerf coming
Thank you Motsy! This one really is something special for sure. Going down as one of my all time favorites. I am really glad so many players have gotten to experience it in its original form currently before any potential changes in the future to the class.
So is this still viable? I'm so late to arcanist! Lol
It is! It’s still one of my favorites today haha.
im just gonna stick as dark elf. so i can switch to a stem build if things ever change lol.
Smart! I do the same on a few classes!
Infused vs Bloodthirsty is genuinely just a choice between your favorite flavor tbh. (NOTE im talking PvE, i dont PvP like at all) they are quite literally hot swappable. provide very very VERY similar numbers (I think triple infused squeaks ahead just barely in paper as in standing in front of a dummy watching your CMX numbers)
I personally prefer triple BT on all my builds simply because towards the end of the fight people sometimes get cocky and thats wen wipes happen. my thought process is more damage towards the end means boss is alive shorter, which is less time to wipe. but really, its just flavor
I will say though that using both (2 BT, 1 INF and 2 INF, 1 BT) is inferior in every way to either going triple BT or triple inf.
Are you vampire?
Not for this build. It will end up hurting you more than helping if you are playing it like the video describes.
Awesome thanks! Been playing this in BGs it works perfectly ❤
Nice build and style from ur videos bro! 🥷❄ As a solo player, i hate sets from the 12 men dungeons😂 any good alternatives for that set?
Thank you Cobra! Check out the previous version of this build. It's still just as relevant as when I posted it with the exception of using a Lightning staff or bow now (the written guide it updated for that part). It doesn't use any trial gear at all. Thank you for watching! ua-cam.com/video/YHhh6jR05NI/v-deo.html
