I havent seen this gun much on you tube or articles, i bought one on sale for 850 new which is like 200 off....any way, anybody looking to purchase the 45 like i did, i took it to the range and i must say it ate eveything out of 6 different mags. Its easier to break down compared to my 2 colts and i must say it is really nice. Compared to my defender it is really neck and neck. I hate to say it but i might like it better. The textured grips and checkered back strap really make a difference with the kick of the 45. I was more accurate with it too and it naturally felt better. If you have been eyeing one and like compact 1911s I give it 2 thumbs up. Very very nice pistol.
Smith & Wesson's 1911s don't seem to get all that much attention anywhere, for whatever reason, but they seem pretty good. Do people just see the external extractor and get turned off?
I got one recently too and realized to never listen to people who bitch about recoil on the internet. Only things I heard about the .45 acp version is how it is too light to fire .45 and the recoil is bad. After shooting the first mag I had no idea what they’re talking about, it’s just great
Love it! Looks like a good overall fit the bill for everything type of gun. Ive had small 3 inch 45 pistols like this and they dont look like it but they are actually quite pleasant and fun to shoot at the range.
I love how they... 1. act like subcompact 1911s haven't been a thing for, like, 25 years; 2. talk about it like it only exists in .45, and not 9mm (which it does).
Why would anyone use a sub-compact in the home when larger, easier to control platforms with a longer sight radius are clearly a better choice? Carry? Yes. Useful for concealment. Home defense? Not optimal.
Thanks for the video. Not to bash whatsoever but this style of " interview ish.." really does not drive the content home. It so dumber down that it boarders boardem. Sorry but I feel it's the truth.
