considering the geographical state of Iran being around Iraq and Afghanistan, being in the middle east, the safety in this country is astonishing.
I don't know if it is because of the people there or the politics of the government, but being in the middle of war zones without being effected is awesome.
And not once suicide bomb happened in Iran.
From what I can see is the Iranian are not too much radical in their belief compared to their neighbor.

I am a South African solo traveller and will be visiting Iran in October. I have had so many negative responses from people who believe I am absolutely crazy to be visiting such a dangerous country. Do not worry at all Iran is very safe but everone should be vigilante and watch around. In order not to be over charged go shopping with a local alonge. In comparison with SA is very safe. Needed help let us know.

I live in Switzerland and there is not the slightest freedom here, even if you make a grill in the mountains, for example, for a few years, you have to pay a grill once, even you can not build a tent in every where Even in the middle of the desert, you can not even park a car. You do not have the right to enter a farm or garden or relax in the shade of a tree. Here everything should be watched from afar, but Iran is completely free and 99% of the ban in the West can be done in Iran, and it is completely free. I mean, freedom of entertainment LT is

I met them just walking by, they looked nervous, so I asked where are you from they said iran I said welcome to the U.S. I then said let go for lunch his eyes opened wide, he smiled and said ok, we had the best time, we laughed for hours, I'll never forget him, to me I don't care where your from what religion you are we are all people on the same team.

Iran is the most peaceful country in the world. People are so hospitable and loving. Iranians are born to live with dignity and sovereignty which is not digestible to the American regime.
