- Alan Watts put it well, “The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves.“
the statement is still considered tautological that is the reason why is simple but illogical. Is like saying 2+2 is 4 no need to say 4 because is already in the subject so therefore you just repeating the same thing but with different words.. 10 years of philosophy. trust me bro i know what iam talking about.
I needed this message. I feel like I am going through a gloomy phase of life where nothing makes me happy and what I do for a living doesn’t bring me any joy, purpose, or direction in my life. I’m just tired of feeling like I’m just on this earth just to pay bills.
I always questioning myself what i love to do, although i have a job. But the job i am in currently not give me joy. I just want to do what i love and get some money to pay my debts. Still figuring it out and i hope i find it.

@@JazzyArtKL and there is a difference you say to "the meaning of life is life" which is a fallacy. You cannot answer the question with the question. For example: "Why is the sky blue?" "Because its blue?". This creates a loop that cannot be answered. What is the purpose to being alive my friend?
This is the kind of advice that people would've maybe heard a few times in their life, and now anyone with internet access can watch it for free. What a fascinating time to be alive!
The reason so many people can't find meaning in life is because they think that meaning is something that comes from outside of them. We create the meaning of life. We are the meaning and the purpose. We are the creators.
If you feel negative emotions like stress, anxiety, depression, fear, etc., then (most likely) you are not interested in anything. You are not in touch with your higher mind so that it can direct your life with activities that (could) excite you. Then you start doing random things you don't like to fill the void in your life. Random jobs etc.
@@joel5644 I mean they are secondhanded. They look to others for what to think, how to act, and what to do. Read The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. The character of Peter Keating is a perfect example of a second-hander. He lives by and for the approval of others. Plus, they've been taught all their lives that living for themselves and their own happiness is immoral. Whatever they want is evil and selfish; living for others is virtuous. Life is pregnant with opportunities to find meaning. Heck, I've got so much meaning in my life I don't have time to get to all of it!
My property has a long split-rail fence that runs along the dirt driveway that separates the driveway from a large field. Every day I walk slowly along the fence and my dog follows me. I'm 60 years old, and this walk makes me happier than any "exciting" trip or adventure I've ever done. I look at the birds, at the plants, at the sky. I smell things, and try to listen carefully to every sound. I believe that this walk is the true meaning of life, at least for me.
I can relate deeply. Any day in my garden looking into the changing sky, watching the birds coming to get food, seeing flowers and plants growing, exercising myself into the wild nature places which you find nearby, always leave me deeply fulfilled with gratitude, awe and enjoyment.
Yes, so many of us don't look, really look at nature that surrounds them. We do it as infants but don't bother allocating small amounts of time to this when we get older. 😊
I think part of the solution is for us to provide some value, like Tim, using social media, to help others achieve things in their live. We are all good at something that we can teach/provide service to someone who needs our help/services.
At 43, the meaning of life to me has become very simple: survive in the physical gravity simulator as long as possible, while working to make yourself, people, animals, and stuff which you care about, as comfortable as possible in any given moment, but also understanding that this dimension is set up to crunch, twist, and tear apart you and everything you see. Sure, manifest stuff, build and create, have experiences, play in this 3D sandbox, but understand that eventually gravity and time is going to crunch you and everything you have ever seen into dust. The meaning of life is like pinball: try to keep the ball out of the drain for as long as possible, try to have fun while doing it, but eventually the ball is going down the drain. No one ‘wins’ pinball. We are that ball, and most people tend to take some knocks throughout life like that ball, it is a matter of responding to those bumper deflections and trying to redirect onto the desired path the best you can. As far as happiness, I think most people, including me, operate under the unconscious assumption that one day we will achieve a magical set of conditions, which will allow us to break through to a new plane of being, and we will be happy for the rest of our lives. I think this unconscious assumption is what causes most of the pain, disappointment, constant dissatisfaction. Look back, most of you will see times in your life where happiness came, but is was probably fleeting, maybe even happened for no reason, or for an unexpected reason. Happiness is a fleeting side effect of life that comes sometimes, like a cherry ontop. Your past probably reflects that, so why think the future will be any different? To think that “if I could just create the right set of conditions, passive income, new location, different job, a relationship, etc, then I will reach permanent happiness”. No, it won’t. It may last awhile, but the next thing will come. If you look at the world, it does not appear to be set up for permanent happiness, and to assume so will bring double the pain and suffering. I think that assumption comes from 1950’s American 5th Avenue marketing, that we are all entitled to happiness. I think people in history prior to that had a more stoic understanding that life is pretty tough a lot of the time. Like this video said, it is very important to decondition yourself from current societal trends and benchmarks, and walk your own path. We are all born alone, we die alone, no matter how close you get to other people in this life, they aren’t going to be in your body with you on your deathbed, they can’t walk your path, and you shouldn’t try to walk theirs. To me, this dimension is a testing facility. It is set up to make us grow. It is not an easy place and expecting it to be so will just make it harder. Enjoy happiness when it comes, love, build, live as honorably as you can, but understand that one day, sooner or later, the world is going to completely f up your plans, to the degree there will be zero you can do about it; you will lose the game of pinball - and that’s ok too.
The biggest problem is we are programmed starting at a very young age, all through school, in a way that constantly pulls us away from what makes us truly happy. To the point that we don't know what that is anymore until someone such as yourself makes us think......thank you for that.
To which I answer: if all the things under the sun are meaningless , good luck, because these things are all there is. Try to find ordinary things that give you some pleasure . Nothing transcendent has been proven to exist. If you disregard this life that is the only real and possible life and world we can live in, to a supposed ulterior life that we don't know if it exists at all, then you are making your life more miserable than it had to be. The groups of middle eastern people who wrote ecclesiastes seem depressed , not an ideal condition to give advice from.
@@Michel-Graillier-fanclub Ecclesiastes (1995 NASB version) is a positive read and not a negative one. IMHO there isn’t a self help book that can beat it. The book is about King Solomon who was the riches man (in today’s value he would be worth around 3 trillion) and the wises man that ever lived. The book was written somewhere around 900 BC. He lived as clean as he could and as sinful as he could and his prospective on the two sides was spot on. Imho he nailed it. Ecclesiastes 11:7 The light is pleasant, and it is good for the eyes to see the sun. 8.Indeed, if a man should live many years, let him rejoice in them all, and let him remember the days of darkness, for there will be many. Everything that is to come will be futility. 9.Rejoice, young man, during your childhood, and let your heart be pleasant during the days of young manhood. And follow the impulses of your heart and the desires of your eyes. Yet know that God will bring you to judgment for all these things. 10.So, remove grief and anger from your heart and put away pain from your body, because childhood and the prime of life are fleeting.
@@Michel-Graillier-fanclub it appears when you read Ecclesiastes you saw negative and darkness. Odds are you go through life seeing the same. When I read Ecclesiastes I see positivity and light. It’s the best self help book ever written.
Totally agree with you. But... isn't that the reality? Isn't that the situation in which we find ourselves? In other words, because our society is competitive, we have no choice but to compete. Because our way of life requires money (even just to pay for the essentials) we have no choice but to make money somehow, whether that means working a full time job or what ever. And so, it seems many (if not most) of us don't like the way things are going today, but we essentially have no choice but to participate in the current system - thereby, of course, perpetuating the system. So yes, we can see what the problem is, but please someone, give us the answer!
That is not the only possible solution ... If you choose that way of living - than - that is IT. / But - IF you / we "reprogram" ourselves - there is infinitive possibilitys ... P.s. Find - something what you love doing- and than JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don t care about money + what other people say - zero fucks given - just do it. Than "miracles" starting to happen. You can look up for videos on how to control ur mind. The point isn’t to earn money and pay bills, this not living that is surviving. @@opticalman6417 Well, where I live at least, the law says you have to work and pay your own way in life. Yes, there's a basic safety net in place for those that cannot work through ill health, but that situation has nothing to do with choice - unless perhaps, you're suggesting we can just pretend to be too ill? Otherwise, what are these 'much happier' people you refer to doing for money (to pay for life's essentials)?
I think back to when i was a kid. I was so much happier then. I did things that made me happy. Playing video games, playing with my childhood friends. Talking about each other and laughing about it. Im 47 and boy, im started to see the reality of how its tougher as you see things for what they are. Working 8-5. Bills stacking up. Family members getting sick. On a positive note. You're right. Timmy, you are spittin' the truth! Quit my job last June after 23 years working in a warehouse.. traveled to Spain for 2.5 months . Came back home, enjoyed time with friends and family for a while, just having time to breathe! Next month I'm headed to South America for the first time.( for 3-6? Months.) Travel is the best way I know to make myself feel alive. I can never go back to a completely conventional job again. Finally took that leap of faith and I have seen the light:) keep up the good work sir!
There is no meaning. You can choose one if you think it makes you feel better. But I have found a deep peace in just letting go. Letting go of needing meaning, needing to feel good, need other peoples love/respect, the list goes on.

I truly can relate to you! I’m turning 57 this year and for the most time it’s the same. Get up, go to work, pay bills, repeat. However, for the longest I’ve been envisioning exiting the work force before 60, even if it means moving out of the country to a place with a lower cost of living.
I’m 59. Three years ago I left my well-paid corporate job. It was killing me on the inside. I am now a professional gardener. Financially it was and is a gamble. I am prone to ruminating, which doesn’t help either. But from a working perspective I’ve had more joyful moments in these three years than in the 25 years before combined. Change is scary but it is possible, even post 55. Good luck.
what do you do with the freedom you buy? What security is there in a relentlessly changing world where nothing, not even the economy your invested in or the value of the dollar in your pocket, lasts?
@@jayplays568 exactly. Money does not equal freedom. In fact, doggedly pursuing money often negates your freedom: your free time, your ability to cultivate new skills or explore new hobbies, and your freedom to have self-worth without attaching it to how wealthy you are. Money can give you FINANCIAL freedom, but that can come at the cost of many other types of freedom. I value my free time more than money, so I only work to the extent that I cover my living costs. I refuse to become a slave to money and working my life away. Nobody on their death bed says “I wish i grinded harder and was richer” they say shit like “I wish I was more present in my kids life” or “I wish I spent more time with family and friends”.
I spent a lot of my life serving and helping others. In the end I was not loved, I was not respected, I did not see much reciprocity or reward in turn. I didn't even feel satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment in what I had done. I was left empty and wondered, for a long time, why was I unworthy of being loved or liked by the people I did my best to love. For some people you will never be the person they want, even if the intent you bring is good. I found that for me being selfish and letting go of the welfare of others (to an extent--I'm no sociopath) was essential to actually work towards a happier life. I don't really help other people out much if at all anymore, and frankly I don't miss that part of my life at all. It's weird to say, but it brought me peace. Everyone's road is a little different. I found in the end none of that made me happy, but the abandonment of such things at least allowed me to focus full steam ahead on what does make me happy in this brief misadventure called life.
We were built for an uphill battle, but for things that actually have meaning. As a man we were built to protect the group, have kids, and provide.. that has beeen eroded.
If you think about the systemic processes that’s required to create a society that is too busy to even go to the grocery store (or plant foods), or be outside, get some movement in the sun, air, connect with community in person…there’s a lot of maneuvering that keeps most on the hamster wheel. We need awareness and connection to the present moment. Great video!
Senior year in high school, the teachers met one-on-one with all of the soon graduates and to a man, all concluded that the biggest lesson of the last 12 years was, "Drive safe". It is more important of have meaning IN life rather than OF life.
Well said!. The standards of our society makes us live uncomfortable life. It's not about achieving something it's about living every single moments with accept your situation, and trying to improve yourself.
Maybe it is not necessary to improve yourself but just be able to connect more to your real self, free of the concepts and restrains society did impose on you. If you begin to do that, improvement of actions and feelings will follow for sure.
I’ve worked a lot over the past 30 years. Recently I decided to try a different approach to life. I’m a well paid mental health professional and so I dropped to working two days a week. I can’t believe the amount of clarity I gained this week just from being outdoors and doing something I love. You don’t really understand how stressful and complicated our society makes life until you walk away from it.

You give me something to ponder and I will ask myself: Why was that happiest time in my life? I will also admit, whenever I was stationed outside the United States I truly enjoyed myself. I felt a bit of sadness returning to America. I am 51, living in Ohio, and life currently is meaningless. Thanks Tim.
Did you hear about the work of Sebastian Junger? I have seen a film he made about Afghanistan war and veterans who miss purpose and deep enjoyment in life and struggle serverely when coming back to their family, because they cannot explain to them what is missing in the everyday life in the US. I found it very revealing what he is describing there, because he also was at the front and shared the experiences of a soldier in these circumstances.
@@Smuggler169 glad to hear you did this. It's good to see, that nowadays more people begin to examine what is really happening to someone who served in a war and returns to everyday life. I can remember talking to my grandfathers about their war experience and it always seemed to be listening to someone who became a kind of warfanatic. Now I consider that there is a lot more going on, which should be discussed and heard in a total different way. I wish you the best in integrating your precious experiences into your future life!
Objectively speaking, there is no meaning in life. We're all just born, live a while, and die, and that's it. However, being humans, most of us want to be happy in the time we're here. IMO one's meaning in life is whatever they want it to be. Getting married and having a family, travelling, an interesting career, climbing mountains, fishing, playing video games, whatever works for you. The harsh truth (to some) is that when our time's up, that's it, nothing will really matter. We'll be gone forever, not even a memory.
I 100% agree everyone asking "whats the meaning of life?" and im sitting here like.... what if there is none what if we are put on on here to live, have fun and die
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. -King Solomon Ecclesiastes 12.13
I used to watch your stuff all the time. I got sidetracked with embarking on my own adventures, inspired by you. I went out and started doing seasonal work. The past 1/2 year has been the best in my life!
Now in my 60's I see a lot of people my age who are supposedly enjoying their retirement years. Yet I can tell they're still looking for a way to feel better and more of themselves. The real path is inside of us and having a teacher is so helpful. I follow MasterPath light and sound teachings to help me navigate the evolution of consciousness. The outer path of social norms is pretty empty. It takes courage, but following your own path is the only way to find "it."
Jesus is inside of you. .. You have your path to take .. He can guide you .. Bible says : narrow is the path that leads to eternal life, wide is the gate that leads to destruction. Amen

Travel brings me joy, especially to escape the miserable British weather. I need to earn more money to do that, and my current profession drains me. It's hard to balance it. Unless I travel full time, the bills still need to be paid. This is my conundrum holding me back from enjoying my life. I enjoy your videos. They bring some sanity and inspiration to my cluttered mind!
Timothy Ward’s video was very insightful. Thank you! Keep inspiring us. Timothy is absolutely right in saying we won’t be actually happy believing that we will be happy if we find the right relationship, right career, attain this much wealth, and etc. I would just add from my perspective, you can’t qualify life, with these I will be happy hypotheticals. When I am washing dishes I remind myself of that. I’m not thinking about how much I can’t wait to finish washing the dishes so that I can relax and watch TV. If we can stop living in our heads and begrudging the thing we are doing, we can feel the hard dish, the sponge, and the running water. Smelling the dish detergent and feeling the motions of your hands, and being aware of our breathing. Just being present! It’s enough. It is the chatter and the thoughts in our heads that disturb our equanimity. We can decide to celebrate life at any time. Why not now? No mater what you are doing? To be comfortable in one’s own skin, is basically enough. Yes, there is everything wrong with the current matrix. Extricate yourself from that lens. Timothy is right, seek the things that make you happy.
@unclepigg: A good friend of mine moved to a 1-room apartment to reduce the so-called bills and went for a 1y sabbatical which was at least 50% traveling. I think there is always a compromise, trade-off.
The secret to life is fun . When your having fun is when your the happiest and the mind free. You’re no longer trying to be perfect. Don’t take nothing in life serious because their hypocrisy in everything.

Being fully in the PRESENT moment is ALL there really is. Find meaning OR if you can... "JOY!" in the place you are right here, right now. Thank you Tim for this message! It's a keeper! 🤗😍🥰
What you said is so true. Life is about the present, because tomorrow isn't promised. It's important to plan for the future, but you still need to enjoy the days before they run out.
I love what you're saying, Tim. Especially about feeling alive. It reminds me of what Howard Thurman said long ago: "Don't ask yourself what the world needs, ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." (Wow, imagine a world in which everyone felt vibrantly alive, expressing their unique selves, doing what brings them joy, and in turn inspiring joy in others, as well!) For ages, there have been people who have tried to either distract us from the truth by telling us we're not good enough as we are, trying to instill fear in us so that we'll buy into their product or message. Some want us to be perpetually broke/constant consumers - instead of the joyful, powerful, creative, wonderful beings we already are. But I think lately more and more people are not buying into the false messages. People are realizing that much more is possible for us, and that life isn't about trying to one-up others with how many things we can buy or how famous we can become. Maybe we're slowly entering an era of human enlightenment. In the wonderful tapestry of life, thanks for being you, Tim! Life's simple and abundant joys are a gift, and you are an example of someone who models appreciating that gift.
Life is like a train trip. You know it will end. You can complain about the seats, the trip, the people around you or you can bring with you the things you like during the trip. More, you can talk, ask questions, tell stories to the people in the same train. More, you can bring the people you enjoy to take the said train trip with you. Life is about joy, sharing, complaining, suffering. You choose how your trip experience is going to be.
Unfortunately so. Nowadays your worth in life is tied down to your job title and earnings. If you don't have what is considered by society to be a reputable career, you'll get shamed.
Great message. What I've learned is to do things that make you fulfilled as opposed to happy. Happiness is temporary. Things like money, fancy car, attractive spouse will bring only happiness. Doing activities that give your life fulfillment is permanent and gives your life more value. Like he said, that's living your life in service to others.
hey man, your message is on point as fuck. Like its exactly what I needed to hear right now. I'm gunna do what I actually want and ask old mates to hang out, explore, meet new people and have new experiences. When I do that I feel free and also free from the question "why am I here?".
I'm a introvert and a looner. I really do like to spend my time alone in the nature. I don't want to socialize with other people but I do like to observe them from the side. It's just me, there's nothing I can do about it. My wife tells me I'm selfish and she might be right...
l know what you mean, l've always been a loner, or a "looner" too lol. Never really like to hang around other people much at all. All my friends keep asking why? Yeah, all my friends. And my wife too ; )
I've always associated simply living with being at peace, and the following quote I discovered years ago kind of says it all. "Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart."
Totally agree. I remember a quote by a professor when asked. Describe happiness in one word. He said "other people". And laughed, because it's two words :-) It's really that simple.
God is there. We are watched and protected don’t worry. Just live the present as if there’s no tomorrow, i remember i used yo worry so much about tmr or the next days and when these days come i’d be just fine then regret how i wasted time worrying.
The struggle people face evertyme when they attempt to acheive something, though they taste the necter of sucess, the happiness of that only holds for a few minutes. That person either chase the next target and start the entire cycle again, or ask the question "what is the meaning ". When u perceive struggle in doing something, u probably gonna ask it's meaning after the accomplishment. This vedio is a gem❤ "What is the meaning " is the question, indicates that "you are not living ". A living person won't ask this, coz he is completely immersed and enjoying the play
Best moment of my life to see this video, lately I've been thinking just in future and how to make money and just because I thought that it would solve my problems, but it won't, it will be the same. And actually I hace everything in life, I can move, see friends, enjoy food, take a nap... What else do I need?
First - you have to find peace and joy in your self. Then you can face the world and all things, people and activities. Sometimes it's opposite, but real goal is to be happy with yourself. With your mind and body.
This hits hard, always chasing after what I was programmed to think was THE POINT but every time am going for it there is no joy AT ALL. Thank you for this. I love creating, I get great fulfilment after putting out a video however late I stayed up to make it... This is what am going after now.

I agree. Society tells us that we need all this expensive things around us to be happy but in reality the only things we need is basic stuff like clothes and a place to live. We don't need all that villa's and expensive cars to be happy. Life is simple and money doesn't stand for happiness.

I experienced a NDE and I can assure you based on this experience that there is a happiness so complete that I have no need for meaning or anything else no needs at all
Such great wisdom and knowledge here. I think the key is to keep life simple, do the things we love, contribute to the world in a good way, and not comparing ourselves to others.
Another problem is that we are always comparing ourselves to other supposedly more successful and prosperous people. Both on social media and in real life. We are misled to believe that we are failures because we don’t have the six figure annual salary or the fun filled luxurious lifestyle that comes with it. We fail to realize that these more successful, prosperous people have their problems and their unhappiness like everyone else. Your wealthiest and most successful people tend to be the most unhappy people because they have little in common with the mass majority and all they care about is more money, more vacations, another big fancy house or condo, etc.
It's insecurity ( caused by fear of poverty and deprivation, as well as the greed for more ) that drives a relentless and ruthless pursuit of excessive wealth and power. Why the insecurity ? Because our socioeconomic system is based on artificial scarcity and organized on an oppressive hierarchy. Many people throw away their conscience and peace of mind in pursuit of excessive wealth and power, all just to soothe the insecurity caused by power and wealth imbalances in society.
For me the meaning of life is/are when you find your true self and inner peace, then you can just live and notice how amazing this life really is. Tolle and Harari books guided me to that. I hope you can also find it too. Life without ego, fear, anger, regret… is something anyone can realise in them self and get awearness. Greetings from Finland and peace ✌️
Well said Timothy. I have worked with a lot of billionaires and millionaires in my life. I have only ever met ONE who I can say was truly happy, and a lot of the rest were truly miserable. Society teaches people to have false aspirations, mostly based on materialism and fake social status. But what we need as humans is others around us who make us feel happy, and do things that make us feel happy no matter what society demands.
TIM, I feel like life has no meaning to me. I do not see a future. I see society and civilization in chaos and falling apart. Can't afford the high cost of living.
The probable reason we're currently having a so called "crisis of meaning" is that we actually have enough time on our hands to actually posit this question when for the vast amount of human history people were so consumed doing something called surviving that the concept of meaning never even occurred to them. The interesting question now becomes which of the situations is most desirable. I lean toward the camp that says sometimes the only answer is to stop asking the damn question.
- Alan Watts put it well, “The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves.“

What do you mean when you say people can't find meaning in life because they think that meaning is something that comes from outside? In what way?

Brilliant!

The biggest problem is we are programmed starting at a very young age, all through school, in a way that constantly pulls us away from what makes us truly happy. To the point that we don't know what that is anymore until someone such as yourself makes us think......thank you for that.
Ecclesiastes 2:11, "I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, and chasing after the wind".
He lived as clean as he could and as sinful as he could and his prospective on the two

Ecclesiastes 11:7
The light is pleasant, and it is good for the eyes to see the sun.

Competition + comparrison + greed ... This is for "brainwashed slaves" ... That is PRISON. Mental prison. The vorst possible. Prison.
I seem to gain happiness earning more money but only for the reason that when combined with frugalness I can have more freedom and security.
A simple life is not being homeless or having no health insurance or food though
what do you do with the freedom you buy? What security is there in a relentlessly changing world where nothing, not even the economy your invested in or the value of the dollar in your pocket, lasts?
Perfect perspective.
I used to think like this, but now I am beginning to question if I can really gain freedom if I need to continue to spend time working for money..

Objectively speaking, there is no meaning in life. We're all just born, live a while, and die, and that's it. However, being humans, most of us want to be happy in the time we're here. Is Masterpath light like mindfulness meditation?
Jesus is inside of you. .. You have your path to take .. He can guide you .. Bible says : narrow is the path that leads to eternal life, wide is the gate that leads to destruction. Amen

Ecclesiastes 12.30
Life is something to be lived and experienced, not something to be accumulated. Gain the knowledge which leads you to the true contentment and joy. God bless!
Love your videos as well as your live streams. You should bring back the walk and talks! Much love Tim!
Travelling gives a whole new meaning to life.
"YOU CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH OF WHAT YOU DONT WANT"!
-Dr. Wayne Dyer
The secret to life is fun . When your having fun is when your the happiest and the mind free. You’re no longer trying to be perfect. Don’t take nothing in life serious because their hypocrisy in everything.
I love the part of youtube where people share wisdom. More plz
Life doesn't have a meaning of itself, it is you that give life a meaning. And whatever you give life, life is.
I always rode bmx bikes growing up and im in my 40s now and im still riding bikes only now i have a family as well, but i never forgot who i was. You make the meaning of life thats why you have this thing called free will.
Doing things that make you feel alive IS the meaning of life.
Just like you said.
"That is the meaning" That's it right there!! That part!🎯
I just lost my husband unexpectedly 5 months ago. Thank you for this message.
Being fully in the PRESENT moment is ALL there really is. Find meaning OR if you can... "JOY!" in the place you are right here, right now. Thank you Tim for this message! It's a keeper! 🤗😍🥰
It's also in the long run about being able to afford the maintenance of those things and experiences...
BS, life is free, but we are led into believing just money can buy us that freedom. We need to change that mindset first!
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." (Wow, imagine a world in which everyone felt vibrantly alive, expressing their unique selves, doing what brings them joy, and in turn inspiring joy in others, as well!)
For ages, there have been people who have tried to either distract us from the truth by telling us we're not good enough as we are, trying to instill fear in us so that we'll buy into their product or message.
Good morning everyone.
Its Day 55. I am sober. Feels amazing. One of the best decisions I have ever taken.
Pray for me ❤
Congratulations! I hope u made it to 61 days? U are doing great & remember to keep pressing on one day at a time ❤
Life is like a train trip.
Perfect
Our consumerist capitalist system has made life complicated and many people unhappy.
Unfortunately so. Nowadays your worth in life is tied down to your job title and earnings. If you don't have what is considered by society to be a reputable career, you'll get shamed.
So you are going to create another system which will tell us how to be happy?
Only US men get judged harshly. Women get a pass
Yeah that damn capitalism hey, life was so much easier living in poverty with zero opportunity to prosper and grow
It certainly has and this system has always made me feel sick ever since I was a young child. I want no part in it.
Be with the ones that you care about. That’s what life is about.
Please don't stress out sir, you are one of those humans who make sense.
live with LESS STUFF.......
but, do more & help others more.. families, friends &
give back to society*volunteer*
This…..
is EVERYTHING…..
❤️🌞🙏
A mother giving someone life is definitely meaningful
I’m 28 and this is exactly what I wanted to hear.
Totally agree. I remember a quote by a professor when asked. Describe happiness in one word. He said "other people". And laughed, because it's two words :-) It's really that simple.
The world around me scares me. We are going down the wrong path in politics. And it is going to affect us in the future.
God is there. We are watched and protected don’t worry. Just live the present as if there’s no tomorrow, i remember i used yo worry so much about tmr or the next days and when these days come i’d be just fine then regret how i wasted time worrying.

Me too
The struggle people face evertyme when they attempt to acheive something, though they taste the necter of sucess, the happiness of that only holds for a few minutes. That person either chase the next target and start the entire cycle again, or ask the question "what is the meaning ". When u perceive struggle in doing something, u probably gonna ask it's meaning after the accomplishment.
This vedio is a gem❤
"What is the meaning " is the question, indicates that "you are not living ". A living person won't ask this, coz he is completely immersed and enjoying the play
Thank you buddy, I definitely needed to hear this today. I wish you happiness and joy in your life as well
Thank you!
Best moment of my life to see this video, lately I've been thinking just in future and how to make money and just because I thought that it would solve my problems, but it won't, it will be the same. And actually I hace everything in life, I can move, see friends, enjoy food, take a nap... What else do I need?
This video brought tears to my eyes, you are a wise man
First - you have to find peace and joy in your self.
YOU are the purpose of life
YOU are lifes expression of itself
YOU.
There is always someone wore off than you and all they want is to be you.
So be the best you can be until we become we are
Riding my motorcycle makes me feel alive. I get so much joy!
me too, sold my old bike last year, and bought a new one today. It is because I just love riding
@@NinjaKoalaAUTW congratulations on to new ride! Make some great memories out there on it.
Yes know the feeling but I loved riding at high speed ,the U.K. roads are not the place. Drove along Daytona beach once through the surf that was fantastic ,pure joy…..nowadays just walking along the beach gives me joy, sound of the waves etc. Everyone has to find out for themselves what makes them happy in life.
I ride my e bikes everyday
@@heinmolenaar6750 I’ve been wanting to try riding a E bike. They are gaining in popularity.
I feel alive when I’m working out, exercising! I love lifting weights and walking/hiking in nature. Recently took a brake from the gym though and realized I just need a change of scenery or do some weight lifting outdoors! I also love eating healthy + fasting and reading! My job and other responsibilities gets in the way of this but I do need the job to sustain this lifestyle.
TIM! Hope you are doing well brother, haven’t seen a vid from you in awhile but you popped up on my timeline, thanks for the inspiration and God bless you 🙏
I agree. Society tells us that we need all this expensive things around us to be happy but in reality the only things we need is basic stuff like clothes and a place to live. We don't need all that villa's and expensive cars to be happy. Life is simple and money doesn't stand for happiness.
This is the biggest question we’ve had forever.. not just these days. No answer will ever sasisfy more than your “Do what you love with People you love” quote imo
Absolutely brilliant! Thank you so much!! "You can't make something that has no meaning for you have meaning for you." Yes.
Kicking the soccer ball on a sunny day with my daughter when she was younger and seeing her happy was what made my soul happiest. It didn't cost anything, and to me it was priceless.💥
I experienced a NDE and I can assure you based on this experience that there is a happiness so complete that I have no need for meaning or anything else no needs at all
The videos keep getting better and more valuable.
Cheers Tim
Such great wisdom and knowledge here. I think the key is to keep life simple, do the things we love, contribute to the world in a good way, and not comparing ourselves to others.
I really needed to hear this today, thank you 🙏. Tim, you are truly a righteous amigo 💯. Stay real and be well, may the ☀️ shine on you always ☮️
Thanks!
You're welcome ! And thank you so much for the support!

Your wealthiest and most successful people tend to be the most unhappy people because they have little in common with the mass majority and all they care about is more money, more vacations, another big fancy house or condo, etc.
tell me more
Yes because they want more and more and more, When you stop Wanting More, you bring in a piece of mind
Not just that.. more money comes with more problems.. you do become an anamoly. It's so hard ..
The meaning of life is not in doing, it's in being.
In becoming.
It's different for everyone else
Well said Timothy. I have worked with a lot of billionaires and millionaires in my life. I have only ever met ONE who I can say was truly happy, and a lot of the rest were truly miserable. Society teaches people to have false aspirations, mostly based on materialism and fake social status. But what we need as humans is others around us who make us feel happy, and do things that make us feel happy no matter what society demands.
TIM, I feel like life has no meaning to me. I do not see a future. I see society and civilization in chaos and falling apart. Can't afford the high cost of living.
Same same
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Happiness is simple and free. We don't have to chase anything, just BE. Thanks for another inspiring video.
I like your reply, but of course…….my grandfather worked in the coal mines. He was happy to have a pint of cold beer .
I'm crying. A simple but impactful advice for me.
