My uncle brewed some o that honey liqueur up 3 years back from his own bees. He's got like 10 boxes of bees. I don't know how many quarts he brewed off, that shit was so fucking good he was selling it off for $50 a quart and in one weekend he sold that whole batch. He saved back a little bit for friends and family. Best shit I ever put across my lips.
You guys knocked it out of the park this time! I really gotta try this one. I never put good, high-proof alcohol in a thump keg before, but I will now. I love honey, and this recipe is perfect for me! Most underrated channel on UA-cam!
If you do still have some of that left or when you do make another batch. Might I suggest that you blend it with some tequila. It's called "Dulce" and it costs about $60 a bottle, but it tastes great.
Now as a scandinavian THIS was more then interesting. However brewing shine is illegal here... oh... how i wish i was a citizen on the other side of the pool. Nice video boys!
if you use a 8111 champaign yeast , you'll consume ALL the sugar the honey has...and because you're "back flavoring" in the thump keg... You'll get longer heart runs. You'll still get they desired flavor but WAY more product for the money.. Just my opinion.
that DADY is a slow big yeast like a big slow d47, with a LOW alcohol toterance and it doesn't clear" out of its own way when it comes time to run it...its messy
I've got a source of honey. It's 60$ a gallon for Palmetto honey, wild flower honey, an orange blossom honey. All for 60$ per gallon plus shipping, if your interested.
Have you tried taking some reg sugar shine and running it with honey in your thumper? Curious if it would take the sugar bite out of it? It’s apple season here in the north currently and that means hard cider and apple brandy. Cheers brother
Man I love this show! That shit looks good and ya'll keep the shit entertaining and interesting! Keep up the good work and oh yeah...."Fuck yo mama" LOL!!!
I think I might want to do my apple cider run with some honey this year....the whole honey crisp thing ..Gahh I would love to taste some of yalls shit tho
I was going to say the most expensive 🤣 I think the honey will scorch on the legs bottom. Just saying. But if this doesn’t come out with a honey taste that’s like awesome I’d be 😡. With a drip like that it’s definitely taking a long while to work off.

How does one go about selling that .... with out problems ...asking for a friend ...

I don’t use higher than 125 in the thump keg

Just made a batch and throwed the toasted oak to it....best shine by far...btw 90° proof works for me..in a glass with 1 cube of ice👍

Get a 1 gallon counter top electric water distiller, make a gallon of wine toss it in you’ll get about a pint of high proof really quick
It's illegal to do it in many places, you just need to get to the point where you don't give a fck about man made laws anymore
It isn't legal most places in America either. Lots of folks just don't care 🤣
@@dogslobbergardens6606 it's not illegal to make. It's illegal to sell because it's untaxed
Please show us how to blend. It’s something I need to learn.
I like the bumble shine name best.
You talking about combining your hearts and proofing down your likker???

(1) How did you arrive at the decision to use 30 pounds of honey? (2) Please do a video on thumpers. I do not understand how they work. Thanks!
3 to 5 lbs per gallon. 3 is dry 5 is sweet
I will make one soon.
Just like making mead 2 to 3 pounds of honey per gallon of water.
Gravity readings is how we determined how much honey to use

We’re going to use jar thumpers for that, the jars are in production then there will be a video using sugar shine
Damn that honey shine is some good shit
The best I ever made clear was bloody butcher first run. Haven’t run the sour mash…. Yet😉
I really want to run some bloody butcher
@@bigeaze5711 that guy that was selling up at the hillbilly ja gave me the last 1/2 bag he had on the trailer. Got lucky I did. It’s really good
Honey is water soluble, no need to heat it whatsoever (even if it has crystalized)
We had to heat the water up to 95° to pitch the yeast anyways so we figured why not toss the honey in there….
How can I get some ?
You guys crack me up.
What yeast do you guys use?
We use a bunch of different yeasts but when doing moonshine most of the time we use DADY.
Iam too baked for this intro part 😂🤘🏼
Is there anyways to get rid of the corn smell
How do you know the Proof of it?
Неплохо получилось обязательно попробую
Where did you get the setup for the thumper keg?
if you choose to age this i highly reccoment Maple wood
Honey COMB is the BOMB man
How do I get you a 5 gallon bucket of raw honey?

No worries about scorch, all the sugar gets fermented and there aren’t any solids
one min in, this dude is cool af
Made mead with 20% yeast then freezer distilled. Holy hell batman that'll put hair on your nuts
