@@cthpng9437 Late response, but the reason is that there's so little isn't to save cost, it's usually because it's very buttery and very fatty, so it's already very high calorie regardless of how much is actually on the plate. It'll still fill you up!

0:18 Chef Michael seems so happy seeing the contestants' faces light up om seeing his food. So heartwarming
Chef Michael is from a different era, a throwback to the refined and high class chefs. If you’ve ever been to any of his restaurants, you’d realize he’s an exceptional chef, right there with Ramsey. But Chef Michael’s dry personality and elegance just doesn’t translate into high tv ratings. Anyway, at their level of expertise, whatever edge they have over another is going to be barely, if at all, noticeable.
I ate at Michaels restaurant "Canoe" a few months before the pandemic... it was amazing... the atmosphere was elegant and high class but also warm... and the food was 5 stars.
I, personally, think he has a wet personality.
💀
Chef Michael looks like that one really wise professor that always gives the greatest advice to the protagonist in teen movies.
Michael is a genuinely kind man. Doesn’t insult contestants unnecessarily; doesn’t act like a complete prick like Joe whatshisface; is generally quite gentle and offers constructive criticism.
And that voice! He should do voiceovers/narrations, etc. It’s so soothing.
Why does everyone’s voice sound like they just inhaled helium
