Some updates on some of the home cooks:
-Jon sadly passed away.
-Line is battling with cancer.
- Sabrina got married and had 2 daughters.
- Christopher opened up his bakery and got redemption & won masterchef (season 7 I believe)
-David has a lot of restaurants right now
-One of Line's daughters sadly passed away last year because of OD. Rumor said that it was Line who passed away but it was wrong.
-Andrew who went from 10th place on Season 2 become 4th place in Season 7 and is a succesful restauranter.

David was known to be the winner from the start, his audition dish was stunning! Everyone else should have already known they were running for second place, though to be fair, the final competition was a definite thrill to watch, it was a close match to be sure
David is who I aspire to be, he's well loved by everyone and quiet, well spoken and always wins challenges 🥰
I wish I was David, and I wish chef Michael was my dad.
even though i knew david won this challenge something about his humble attitude makes you wanna root for him no matter what

When you thought you finally had a chance to win a mystery challenge but Graham considered adding one more dish and it happened to be David. Yeah, it's over. Whenever I see judges say his name, the competitors are sighing. I just feel like David in the first week of MasterChef proved himself and he just kept getting stronger and better the moment he got in the top 2 of MasterChef Canada I knew he would win it lol
David was probably the most dominant contestant in any season of masterchef ive ever seen

The crew eats the other dishes.
They taste their cooking stations off camera after times up and kick everyone out for a break. So they have an idea beforehand to re-enact tasting. Christine Ha mentioned this about being a guest judge.
