Thank you for making this video, really appreciate the content for my 550i build. For all, I recommend the vrsf downpipes over ARM. I have the ARM ones on my 550i and the fitment is not good causing an exhaust leak leading to poor performance for my car.

Felt. I just installed ARM last night. Took a ridiculous 10yrs for install time. Removing the old took about 3hrs (understandable it my first on this car) as expected. The install!! We had to use a rubber mallet to get the DP’s to slide into the mid pipe. The bracket under the car from arm does not fit. They cel delete kit did not fit my car. However my car does sound amazing!
I followed all directions in video accept the dp brand. My car sounds absolutely devilish now. I have f10 550i by the way.

I just threw in an X pipe today. TEN THUMBS UP my brotha. I’m running a set of 3 in manga flow can resonators, followed by the 3in X Pipe and finished off with a set of 3in vibrant ultra quite resonators. Sounds mean now. My previous set was everything minus the X pipe and the car sounded awesome. I loved love but it was a bit louder than I initially wanted. Ive been going crazy about what to do the remove the little bit of drone that I had and quite her down just a touch. Your vid notified me just in time and I went out this morning to add the X pipe.

I fitted the s63 exhaust manifold on my 550ix, haven’t started the car yet, but can’t wait to here it.

Is it the manifold from engine to turbo you are talking about?

Yes, the cross bank exhaust manifolds from the s63. Sounds way better to me, turbos spools faster, can get rid off the heat way better and the manifolds don’t give so much back pressure.

The e70 x5m and x6m has also the s63 engine and the manifolds they are using are a bit different but also cross banked and uses 1 msd85 dme ecu. So the readings have to be possible to adjust.

Machined the n63 turbo from 50mm to 70mm to fit the s63 manifold

No, not yet! The 550i has an eLSD which is technically an open differential, but it's able to let both wheels spin simultaneously under certain traction conditions.

To get the v8 sound you need different exhaust headers from the n63 and different turbos
