Good job, but I recommend using a ‘tap-a-fuse’ socket to tap positive 12v. It’s just safer and won’t cause bad connections or plastic to melt in case something goes wrong and cause a fire.

Hey dude look into fuse taps they are much safer than what you did. Also look for better grommet or seal up that hole. It was there for a reason especially right by your fuse box
That 12V constant live will eventually drain your battery, also killing it's health overtime. Get a fuse blade "add a fuse" adapter, then plug it into fuse 143 (rear fusebox) as this is a switched live, it'll only go live when you turn on the ignition saving your battery. I only know this because I did the exact same, the controller box constantly draining the battery wrecked mine after 12 months.

better to make a small (wire size) hole in the grommet then slice it to the edge of the grommet, so it will seal around the wire instead of the huge hole you put in it.

Yes! With no other exhaust modifications and with the valve closed, your car should still pass inspection. As long as your inspection station doesn’t physically look at the muffler and tell you modifications aren’t allowed- which is unlikely with the valve closed.
You should go for High flow exhaust instead of the straight pipes. It just gets to much turbo whistle, rattle and loud. We want it loud, not abnoxiously loud
