The sound could benefit from just a bit more covering… but it’s bright straightforward quality that is strong and affirmative. This feature is absolutely refreshing in a world of annoying high sopranos or faked upper tones or overly artificial vocal production. I believed in her as Gilda and was transported vibrantly to a world of Italy. Brava.
