Austin is a legend. Back in my Straight Line Stitch days we did a tour with Bleed The Sky and he was really cool to me. It was a treat to get to know him a little bit and watch him play every night. His personality on and off the kit was so fun. What a guy!!! Glad he's had so much success.

Man I love D'Amond's style. Very distinct. One thing I've always liked about Kevin Talley is this kind of step feel/hesitation drumming, not sure how to describe it really. D'Amond next levels this feel. Some more Elite stuff would be excellent!
Yea I get what you mean. There's a difference between being right on the beat, and kinda falling behind,or rushing the best/feel

Man, Rob, nothing against you but Austin should start his own channel! For "just springing this on him", he took to it right away and was well-spoken, quick-witted, and overall charismatic as hell! There was no awkward spaces or silences, and he was able to cover well when he didn't quite know what to say. (Also, his genuine excitement and general positivity came through so well and made it more fun to watch him open these - like a kid on Christmas!)
Very good vid - I'd like to see you have him on again to discuss different cymbals and drums for non-drummers like myself sometime.

This was a rad video. I actually got to watch it with my father which is a drummer and im the guitar player. Just gave him a brief history lesson and he jumped in head first. His reaction while watching was great. Its videos like this that brings best of both worlds together.

Shawn Cameron touched my life into the Zildjian family, where Chris Adler has always touched my snare heart. If only you can shows pictures. Growing up, I could only afford cheap Sabian, and I too would kill them so quickly. However, now in my late 20's and able to make dreams a reality

As a drummer, this was incredible! I play Zildjian A Customs as well. Totally jealous of the hand hammered and the mega bell rides that I don't yet have. I love K Custom Hybrid hats personally. Hood stuff brother.

Same problem I had with z customs. I'd break it in one week or less. Sound great and loud as fuck but damn. Didn't work for me playing metal. I hit really hard.
yeah the glass break detector picks up the cymbals and thinks that someone just broke a window and sounds the alarm :)
