Robert, thanks so much for sharing your experience with your mini-tinni! I'm a couple years away from retirement, and I've been considering investing in a mini... no prior experience with trailer camping so your commentary was very enlightening.
Congratulations to Minitini and her owner on the second anniversary. Wishing you many more miles of safe, happy travels ahead. Thank you for all of your trips in Florida and the neighboring states. Love being able to travel vicariously through your able lens. And good luck with the water heater situation.
I watch your videos during my lunch break. They completely melt away built up stress, so you are not only informative and entertaining...you're therapeutic!
I pleased to see such honest review of caravan from it's owner. Cuz most of the time everybody just boast what they have, but you view is really truthful. Thanks. Good luck!
Pretty cool Robert. We love your home on wheels. we can't wait to get to the show this year and see one. Too bad about the water heater. Sounds like a plan for your counter. Thank you for the video you did a great job. You should be on tv, you were awesome.
Thanks for this video...you have a very nice camper. I like all of the storage, lighting and the convenient electronic elements. Good idea for replacing the dinette with a shelf with attached hinged table extension and more comfortable seating.
Wow Robert, I can't believe that I have been following you for over two years.. that went fast and a awesome ride.. Mini looks good, I hope you have many more years of enjoyment with it.
Thank you for your excellent review. I find all these RV videos so interesting! I have never gone RV-I got before, but I am curious. Your honest assessment is so vital to people like me who have very little experience and could potentially get in a bad situation with an RV they are very unhappy with because we don't know what to look out for. So thank you again.
Really enjoyed your video. What a cool idea of changing the table. It sounds awesome. t's great to know the positives and negatives of your RV, thank you for sharing.
Robert, Enjoyed the video. I have an FBS2100 with about 30,000 miles on it and it just turned 2 years old. I looked at the 17 footer, but opted for the 2100 for the shower and forward facing bed. I do miss the 17' larger storage opening. I tow with a 2008 Toyota 4runner V8, and have been through the Rockies with no problems. I'm surprised you didn't mention the front decal. My is delaminating as your appears to be, and I'm disappointed that it is after just 2 years. Happy Trails, Gary
Thanks for your comment. Yes the front decal is pretty much gone. Very good to hear you crossed the Rockies with no problems. I struggled in the lower Appalachians, but then again old Kia is probably underpowered. Had I had a better tow vehicle and a larger driveway I would have probably gotten something a little bigger too. Happy travels!
Our first RV was a fun finder with the same layout. Two problems, with the bed sideways if someone has to use the bathroom you are crawling over the other to get out. And there's no room for two to dress at the same time. But I still liked it it was small, easy to tow, and we had lots of fun!
Well, now that it is getting chillier in the north, I thought it would be appropriate to publish a couple of beach and Florida Keys videos, so stay tuned for those. Thanks!
thanks for a very honest and practical review, amazing that the additions you have made are not offered oe, manufacturer's are slow to realize necessities, enjoy your travels.
Nice video, Robert! Minitini is such a cute little RV :) I grew up enjoying the spoils of RV life with extended vacations a couple / few times each year.. great memories! I'm glad that you and your lady are able to do something similar in something so adorable and compact. Those Class A monsters look amazing and I'm sure the slide outs and such are fantastic, but Minitini can slide into a slot in two seconds flat, I'll bet haha! Happy trails to you both.
+Josh Adams Good luck RV shopping. Yes, definitely have to spend more time in Alabama. Twice now I've just driven through in a hurry to get somewhere else. Gotta change that.
Michigan camping is nice because you can climb sand dunes on Lake Michigan, watch freighters on Lake Huron and the St Clair River, and see waterfalls in the Upper Peninsula.
Holy Guacamole! "Houghton!?" "Marquette?" (the coldest August I ever felt was there...a sweater at night?)My step-father's relatives were living there (Grasseschi family) and I was there as a kid, and man, was it empty and cold there!Of course...things change, and that was over fifty years ago.
Robert when build your counter do it so it flips back from the top from the wall. That way when your not using it it won't be hitting your knees! Then you simply fold the extension up and towards the wall and the underside of the extension is your tabletop when not in use. If you do it like this you could also add some shelves underneath if you want a pantry.
+Gary Boyd Yeah, I thought about that but then I'd like to live some things up there semi permanently like the computer monitors perhaps. That's why I came up with the under design. Clearly I have to put more thought into this.
Two+ years and still liking MinnieTinnie, Winnebago should endorse you for such a good review. Maybe they will resolve your WH problem now?? Thanks again for your excellent videos.
+hermitld Yes they should. I wouldn't mind. It is a good product over all. Thank you. At the very least they should hook me up with a new water heater.
Great review Robert, thinking of a small camper and this is very helpful with great tips. Never pulled anything behind my car so that's my biggest fear abut getting one
Great honest review, this is really is a perfect camper for what you are towing with, honestly I would even gone with a single axle trailer, but like you said it is what it is,just get out there and enjoy it,happy travels
Hey Robert, great review as always! I’m about to start my own two-year journey of living in a travel trailer, inspired by your travels. My goal is to not only explore different cities but also promote my brand and a transitional housing initiative I’ve started, while running my LLC on the road. Your insights have been super helpful as I prepare for this next chapter. Would love to connect and exchange thoughts on RV living and business on the go!
Thank you for your response about directing water to my shower. I found my shut off mechanism under the head of the faucet. After your reply, I found some printing under the spout of the faucet. I turned that circular valve that can redirect water to the shower head.
I replaced my Suburban standard RV 6 gallon heater with a Eccotemp FVI-12-LP High Capacity Propane Tankless Water Heater. I was able to fit it in the original HWT compartment with some space to spare and then use the vent kit that come with it to replace the exterior vent and door from the Suburban. It does need 110v for the pilot light to fire but it's only about 1 amp of power You need an inverter and better battery system anyway if you are going to full time, so that's only a small amount of power to pull from an inverter. I had a 4000 watt Xantrex inverter and the only thing I couldn't run was my A/C and microwave. With dual batteries and a 150 watt solar system. I could run the Fantastic Fan just about 24 hours a day without running down the batteries as long as it was sunny. It only uses propane when the heater is actually calling for hot water. You get water warm enough for hand washing in about 10 seconds and for a shower in about 45 seconds. Since you already have the space plumbed for water and power, the installation isn't that difficult. The big advantage is you never have to worry about running out of hot water. I have arthritis in my neck that's really helped standing under hot water. With the Suburban tank, that was about seven or eight minutes worth after it heated up about 15 minutes. I've stood under the shower for 20 minutes with the Eccotemp and the water was just as hot as when I started. With two of you, one can take a shower right after the other and not have to wait for more water to heat up. If water is flowing through the heater, it's hot.
Robert nice little unit. The Fantastic fan and Oxygenics shower are great upgrades. I also did the upgrades. Why don't manufacturers install them when making the units? I've found the remote very useful for operating the fan and as you say the Oxygenics shower does deliver more water pressure. When I bought my used class A it came with a microwave and no oven, I replaced the microwave with a microwave/convection combo. It costs a bit but it increases your meal choices if you like to cook. IMO, it's worth the cost.
Yes, I miss having an oven... especially for pizza. I don't know if I can fit a convection in there without making some major modifications to the cabinet, and woodwork is not my strong suit. I've been thinking of getting a countertop toaster oven for now.
Good job, Robert! Have you heard of the Truma water heaters? German made, named after President Truman, because he helped rebuild Germany after WWII. Our ac is very loud too, I want to some day get a small mini split unit. Not expensive, and super quiet! Ours is also 25 gallon grey tank. Could surely use more! It's big enough to full time! Very exciting! Hmmm, maybe I'll copy your work table idea.
+Taka Yama Thank you. Yes I've heard of the Truma. I've been looking into swapping the Atwood for a Truma or something with a tank. I don't have the skills for that so I will have to take it to the dealer.
Hmmm. . . Not really a resounding endorsement. I have a Takena 1860. Pretty much the same thing as your Winnie. My only complaint on it is that there is no oven. I do A LOT of 'boondock' camping and end up using the microwave for additional storage space. Good honest review, thanks.
Maybe the Water Heater won’t be to expensive if you get a standard basic model. I think you will enjoy it so much more once that is done. 😊 great video! I always enjoy these.
I like the drop leaf table idea. At least you have a double sink, oven and a nice stove.i have a two burner off set, no oven, my microwave is up so high I have a hard time taking my coffee cup out of it & I'm not a short woman (5'5")
Great review, owner reviews are more objective then the one's from salesmen. In our open cabinets we installed stretch netting from Obie (bought online) to keep things from falling out. You could use stretch netting on your opening above the refrigerator. It looks and works great.
You a character dude. lol. Thanks for the tour!
Your mini tini is warm & cozy with all essentials. My best wishes on its completion of 2 years.
Thank you so much
Thanks for giving us your thoughts on this little travel trailer, I like some of the things you have added and want to add.
Hey I'm a new subscriber and I think you are really cool , and you are good behind the camera plus easy to watch :) great info video :)
Robert, thanks so much for sharing your experience with your mini-tinni! I'm a couple years away from retirement, and I've been considering investing in a mini... no prior experience with trailer camping so your commentary was very enlightening.
Dominick B how is been going for you? Did you get the rv? Do you like it?
I love the videos , this is the type of camper I'm looking for . Love the honesty of your reports , especially the water heater lol.
Luckily they dropped the tankless from the newer models.
Mark Jones each his movie driving to the west with an RV cross country Road trip

+J Johnson Oh you are too kind. Thank you!
I still love how comfortable you are speaking directly to the camera. Great info. Thanks.
+Michael Self Thank you. Glad you found it useful
I pleased to see such honest review of caravan from it's owner. Cuz most of the time everybody just boast what they have, but you view is really truthful. Thanks. Good luck!

Thanks for the tour! I like your accent. You are very thorough in your videos tours which I appreciate.
Sir, you are one happy camper! Always smiling!
Pretty cool Robert. We love your home on wheels. we can't wait to get to the show this year and see one. Too bad about the water heater. Sounds like a plan for your counter. Thank you for the video you did a great job. You should be on tv, you were awesome.
Thank you! By the way, since this video I replaced the water heater with a Truma AquaGo, and I did a version if the desk/counter project.
Time flies when you're having fun :-)
We are in Davie, Robert! Not too far from ya! Thanks for going so we didn't have to LOL! Love watching your vids and living vicariously through ya!

TravelingRobert
What a nice pleasant man. Thank you for giving us a most enjoyable tour of your RV. 👍
+The Adventures Of Cindi and Nick You're very welcome. 3 year review coming soon.
Thank you for your excellent review. I find all these RV videos so interesting! I have never gone RV-I got before, but I am curious. Thanks! Glad I could help.

Very comfortable & cute! It's been taken care of for sure. I'd hang on to it for another couple years. Very well done, your a natural. :)
I really enjoyed your candid review of this RV I'm thinking about buying one and you gave us a lot of insight that the dealer videos don't give.
Very nice Roberto. Keep the knives sharp Amigo...
Very cozy. The office table in place of the other table set up is a great Idea! Make it an office like environment.
Thank you. I seems like a fun project. Maybe I'll learn in the process. I don't know if I should try to tackle it myself or hire a professional.
Vintage Radio
Great review Robert. I'm looking to purchase a tow trailer in the near future and I really appreciate your videos because you tell it like it is.
Thanks!
You have put on some serious miles on that beauty. Great memories forever :)
Great memories for sure. Thanks Rob.
Our first RV was a fun finder with the same layout. Two problems, with the bed sideways if someone has to use the bathroom you are crawling over the other to get out. And there's no room for two to dress at the same time. But I still liked it it was small, easy to tow, and we had lots of fun!

Your in Miami, saying the AC unit works is saying something. Loud or not, get me cold air! Haha.. Well done Sir.
Thank you. Yeah the AC is loud but it cools our small camper great.
Great tour and great ideas. Thank you. Oh, and great knives.
So Real . . . I love this guy. He should review other RVs to give us a real honest opinion.
+Gerard Coppola That's a great idea 💡 I doubt many RV manufacturers will like my unbiased reviews
Robert, your videos are so entertaining. Thanks
i just bought 2016 28 ft winnebago instinct in may i still love it
thanks for a very honest and practical review, amazing that the additions you have made are not offered oe, manufacturer's are slow to realize necessities, enjoy your travels.
+john maggiola Thank you. In a couple of months there will be a 3 year review.
Nice video, Robert! Minitini is such a cute little RV :) I grew up enjoying the spoils of RV life with extended vacations a couple / few times each year.. great memories! Thanks! We are very happy with the small camper
Very entertaining and informative since I am looking at the 2017 Micro Minnies.
I love the dry bath with sink in such small trailer
Another great i have been wanting a, small RV for years. You just got me back into wanting one.. I like what you have done with the RV.. THANKS

Thanks. Plenty of storage
you're funny! Nice tour - not too long winded! very nice trailer and so neat!
Thanks!
Heck set that baby up as an office! The piano hinge idea is good for sit down dining. Very nicely set up. Your quite a person. :)
Thank you! The office desk. That's this winter's project hopefully... and a proper hardwired inverter
Modern & Postwar Model Trains
Great tour! Thanks. Looks like a nice campground, too bad your refrigerator is empty!

I applaud you and your honesty...
Nobody cares about negativity...
Thank you!
Great tour and heads up of what can fit my little family!

+Josh Adams Good luck RV shopping. Yes, definitely have to spend more time in Alabama. Twice now I've just driven through in a hurry to get somewhere else. Gotta change that.

+Matt Williams Thank you! So glad you liked it.
Que bella Caravana, que bien mantenida y eres muy amable de mostrar estos detalles. Saludos cordiales desde Chile
Gracias! Saludos desde Miami.
really liked your honest comments on likes and dislikes
The USA wall map is cute. Love the colors. But... I noticed Michigan is blank. So many beautiful state campgrounds here.
I can't wait to go to Michigan. So many states, so little time.
Went to Michigan last summer to Marquette and Houghton, that is some nice countryside. Would love to camp there.
The Manistee National Forest is a heaven of it's own...the orv trails in Lake County are endless hours of fun.
Robert when build your counter do it so it flips back from the top from the wall. That way when your not using it it won't be hitting your knees! Then you simply fold the extension up and towards the wall and the underside of the extension is your tabletop when not in use. +Gary Boyd Yeah, I thought about that but then I'd like to live some things up there semi permanently like the computer monitors perhaps. That's why I came up with the under design. Clearly I have to put more thought into this.
Thanks for the nice tour it’s a nice size for 1 or 2 people.
nice video, i enjoyed watching... lots of good info. enjoy your travels (and good luck with that water heater!!!)
+jlr022159 Thank you!
Thanks for an honest review. Now it will help me when I get one of my own. :)
You're welcome
I'm surprised on how much storage and room you have in such a small trailer. It looks very comfortable.
+lethomps1 Yes. It is a very clever floor plan.
Perfect review, great man.. Thanks
That you! Just make sure you have enough tow vehicle for the weight of the trailer, and you'll be fine.
Great honest review, this is really is a perfect camper for what you are towing with, honestly I would even gone with a single axle trailer, but like you said it is what it is,just get out there and enjoy it,happy travels
+Bigdog Bulldog Thanks! When I bought I didn't even know what difference 1 or 2 axles would make. I am pleased with my decision.
Great! Thanks for the tour. Very informative
Thank you for your response about directing water to my shower. I found my shut off mechanism under the head of the faucet. After your reply, I found some printing under the spout of the faucet. I turned that circular valve that can redirect water to the shower head.
👍
I replaced my Suburban standard RV 6 gallon heater with a Eccotemp FVI-12-LP High Capacity Propane Tankless Water Heater. I was able to fit it in the original HWT compartment with some space to spare and then use the vent kit that come with it to replace the exterior vent and door from the Suburban. Nice review on your rv. You gave me some good ideas to implement on my rv. Best Wishes!
Thank you!
Very honest video thank you. Have fun.
Nice video. Enjoy your travels!!
Love your rig robert. Makes me want one.
+curlybobz Thanks!
This guy needs his own show outside of UA-cam.
One of these days :-)
Loved your review on your cute 'home'. Gracias!
my son was next to me when the intro came out. he started dancing to it lol
Haha, that's awesome :-)
Thank you for the great tour! Love your video!
Thanks! Glad you liked it
From Australia, well done and informative.
Thanks!
worst hot water heater ever , i love the honesty . i laughed
Eventually I replaced it with a Truma AquaGo... which might be the best ever :-)
Would LOVE to travel across the states in something like ur RV! Scotland just wouldn't be the same so stateside for me and the dogs!
Very well done and informative. Keep up the good work.
+Vince Esteban Thank you!
Hmmm. . . Not really a resounding endorsement. I have a Takena 1860. Pretty much the same thing as your Winnie. My only complaint on it is that there is no oven. I do A LOT of 'boondock' camping and end up using the microwave for additional storage space.
Good honest review, thanks.
I am glad you liked my review. You should see my 3 year review
Maybe the Water Heater won’t be to expensive if you get a standard basic model.
I think you will enjoy it so much more once that is done.
😊 great video! I always enjoy these.
Eventually I replaced it with a Truma AquaGo. It works great now.
Traveling Robert wonderful
I have heard great things about that Water Heater
I love your presentations, your funny too..We are getting soon, a Winnebago Micro Minnie 2106 FBS...take care, and be well. create more videos
+Julius Cajilog Hey thank you. Enjoy your Micro Minnie
hope your heater had been fixed..
LOL. Beware of the knives! BTW. That was a very helpful video.
Thanks! Glad you found it helpful.
Just awesome great mini trailer I want one
I like the drop leaf table idea. At least you have a double sink, oven and a nice stove.i have a two burner off set, no oven, my microwave is up so high I have a hard time taking my coffee cup out of it & I'm not a short woman (5'5")
Thank you. I've tried to make it as comfortable as possible, and it wasn't bad to begin with, for its size
That's a sweet travel trailer man. Nice shirt to. Hahaha. Thanks for charging.
+Josue Lopez Thanks!
Can't wait to go...
Great review, owner reviews are more objective then the one's from salesmen. In our open cabinets we installed stretch netting from Obie (bought online) to keep things from falling out. You could use stretch netting on your opening above the refrigerator. It looks and works great.
+Mike and Willene Gladu Thank you for the tip. I think I'm going to try that. I'm going to look for that Obie brand...for next year's video
What a nice setup you have.
+linda nerney Thank you. Next week I'm going to do the "after 3 years" video. I have made many changes.
Just found your channel. Yep, you had me at the "knives arrrre here for you"..👿😁 New sub BTW 😋
+Indigo goddessbabe Thank you... And welcome.
I enjoyed your video.
Nicely done. 👍

You're welcome. I'll be making one every year.
Nice tour and review =)
B Adventures Travel Vlogs this is funny seeing you here. I'm subscribed to your Channel.
What vehicle is that you are towing with? and what is the towing capacity?
Very good review, thanks for the info! I still can't bring myself to buy a Airstream. Prices are crazy for the Airstream!
I know... way too much. Thanks!
