Believe it or not, I actually skated 94 miles just to tell a girl I use to date that I still love in the middle of the night. Long story short, we talked 'til 7am but I skated home empty handed. I shot my last shot, gave all my best, but still came home with nothing.
Woah. I started skateboarding ~7 month ago. Trying to learn Ollies and now I started forcing myself to ride switch. Not so comfortable, but getting used to it :)
just turned 16, have a fucked up past behind me. Feeling not in my place, i think skating is the only thing that gives me hope and connects me with the people i like.
I feel you highkey.skatings the ultimate tune out.its the only time that i have a smile on my face of pure joy.but now the homies in jail and shits starting to bounce back to bad times
I bought my first skateboard from Big 5 when I was 15, it was a Darkstar. I quit around a year later because at the time, I couldn't ollie. I'm currently 19, I turn 20 in November and I got myself an entire new set up today, I can't sleep so I'm watching this and I really can't wait for the sun to rise so I can hop on my board again. :)
Im 20 and just got my first board. Never too late to get into something cool like skating. Learned to ollie in the first 2 days and am now trying some simple stuff to ease into kick flipping.
Inspired me to skate not to another state but to another city Houston to Austin October 31 2020 can’t come fast enough 2 of my buddies will join in , it’ll take us 2 days and 11 hours skateboarding all the way !

Gonz Wouldgo you sound like you're as old as me (no offense), there was a pro skater in the 80s called Bill Danforth who pushed mongo full time....When we were pushing switch mongo back in the day that was silly enough but full time mongo?
Just hearing the sound of wheels on concrete/asphalt, the feel of your board....it's a feeling I can't describe. Through everything, skating is always there for me. Thanks.
greatest 22 minutes of my life. thank you for taking a chance, creating adventure, touching lives, and experiencing the great american dream. bless you
A great film. It just showed me how much people can be brought together through skateboarding and how much these two guys love skating and, committed to it like this! Beautiful.
Just beautiful. The whole thing was great, but the last two minutes looking back on all the people these guys met and experienced was my best bit. Go life.
I am a long distance runner and walker, I just got my first skateboard on Friday and already planning 30+ mile skateboard rides, I look forward to becoming I long distance skateboarder
This has to be the most beautiful video I've ever seen, these guys are true skaters. And riding around with your friends just adventuring and having fun is the best way to skate
you know, there will always be someone who says what youre doing is insane and stupid, but ultimately its going to be up to you, i know a few guys who all just packed up, got a board and left, and although thats not like a traditional way of life, i think thats living, i always ALWAYS wanted to skate from cali, to new york, ever since i was a kid and i first heard about skateboarding i wanted to just go on this crazy journey i even told my dad once and he got all pissed and said it was stupid, everyone did, but im still going to do it. so hopefully if i dont die along the way, as soon as i pull enough money and supplies, ill be on the road from cali to York i mean it wont be for a few years but its worth it its like a mobile meditation practice, the entire time you are meeting such different people and along the way you end up getting to know who you are its crazy
This is the first capture of skateboarding as it is everyday. For me this was the best video ever. Probably inspirational enough to inspire a similar attempt.
This is the kinda stuff I do too... on a BMX sometimes, it's nice you had a buddy hehe. I haven't gone THAT far though AMAZING LOL :) Absolutely what this whole thing should be oh wow!
So relaxing and beautiful.I am from Croatia and my dream is one day just do something like this but especially in America :) You guys did a really nice job right there! Greetings from Croatia! ;)
This is just beautiful. Looking forward to take a trip like this on my board, too. A good friend, a sleepingbag, beer, tent and having a good time, just skating. Thats what dreams are made of.
Damn, I do a lot of mile on my board, but it's a dropdeck with big soft wheels and super turny trucks. I can't even imagine doing any real distance with a pack on with fucking PARK WHEELS. My feet and knees would kill me
+BadIdeas101 .... and the noisy bearrings - bad running - not funny to ride with it. But everyone get his experience - even, if it hurts. Next tour, its better, to ride a board like BadIdeas101 described here.
why wait i'm doing this in 4 months when i'm turning 16 with 3 friends, we're packing a bunch of shit and we're going through the entire country, i live in the netherlands so it's not that big, it's gonna take around a week.
This is killer. Hell yes. Love these dudes. My new favorite skaters right here. edit: the many many many shots of these good bois on the highway JESUS CHRIST DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW DANGEROUS THAT IS I mean seriously dude those are trucks flying past you at 60 mph have you no regard for your mothers
Always come back to this video, every now and then. Really cool idea, that they accomplished - inspiring not just for the skating aspect, but I love the little snippets of meeting people -- some positive vibes. Also love the slightly over-driven guitar chords used through out for music.
Y'all went through my city of attleboro ma and Pawtucket r.I....that's so sick. I envy you dudes, u set a goal and went out and achieved it. That's inspiration I really needed today. Thank you
Believe it or not, I actually skated 94 miles just to tell a girl I use to date that I still love in the middle of the night. Long story short, we talked 'til 7am but I skated home empty handed. I shot my last shot, gave all my best, but still came home with nothing.
