for the longest time i always felt like such an outcast in my own genre just because i had my faith. it wasnt until you came on the scene and showed the world that you can play and write some of the heaviest music without having to sacrifice your grace. Thank you for making it easier for people like me to feel included now.....

Brian you have been my hero since my awkward teenage years. I was the kid sitting in the corner of the massive cafeteria for "study hall" whatever that was. No one was actually studying. Listening to your music. Kenosha Wisconsin of all places. I live in NY now. Follow the Leader was in my cd player "walkman." Picked up guitar. Joined a band. We covered Blind of course and a couple others off Life is Peachy which is still one of my all time favorite albums. Played battle of the bands at the Rave in Chicago. We didn't win lol. I Just want to say your love of God, Christ. Is so cool. I was brought up in a semi christian house. We went to church. I hated it as a kid. My parents divorced so no more church. I went out got involved with the band, drugs, alcohol, skateboarding when that was cool. You came through my town Canaan NY and hung out at Loves truck stop on a tour a few years ago. Chilled with my wife Francine. She works there. She said you were so cool and nice to talk too. You told her about loud krazy love. Which was so awesome btw. We literally watched it that night after she talked to you. She got a cool selfie with Jonathan too. But said you were super awesome to talk too. Was very jealous! I just turned 40. Your music got me through a lot of hard times. Was pretty much the soundtrack to my weird high school years. But your story with your relationship with Christ has been even more inspiring. Metal head all the way. My relationship with God or "coming back to Him." has a lot to do with your testimony and your story. So thank you for that man. One of my favorite guitarists/musicians/artists. But also favorite brother in Christ. Thank you for your music and also your good word and testimony. Christ is working through you and it's really cool to see that. Have a great Christmas!

Your story about how you quit drugs and went to God really lifted me up and I been saved ever since. That "are you ready" changed my life as a youngin.. it was my first mainstream concert. I was 14. I have since seen "Blind" live three other occasions. Every. Single. One. Was. Lit. Now that I'm older with children and have given my life to Christ, sober after more than half my life addicted to anything and everything, Brian Welch is at the very tiptop of my "who I wanna be like when I grow up list" if you saw this and wrote back it would mean so much man!
