😆 I died when Jack was talking about how it happened! I’m afraid this isn’t the last screw up at his mill. Also it wasn’t like that hole snuck up on the driver, it was obvious well before that he shouldn’t be back there. Lol. It was great to meet you and him this weekend! Had a blast!
hardly ever see your TLB anymore. Nice to see it out and working. Sold one of mine yesterday: 1979 JD 410 diesel. $8600.00(full asking price) plus $200.00 to deliver it(38 miles one way). Good machine with butt ugly paint but she works as she should with no major leaks, decent pins and bushing(not terrible but not new either),good tranny and reverser, Strong points is rock solid engine, great rubber,no electronics to worry with. Man needed a machine for digging stumps and general farm work.I bought it as a fix and flip and did Ok on it.About $2500.00 net after purchase, transport and repairs.Sold in 7 days on craigslist. In my area (NE Texas)TLB's are no longer selling great: everyone wants mini to midi excavators and those are selling at premiums.
i used to work for a Case dealer. We sold a fellow a 580B. About 3 days later, he called and asked if we knew of a wrecker service that pulled out "stuck" backhoes.
And here we see a wild baby deere rescue mommy deere from drowning. Isn't nature beautiful... Jack's got too much blood in his vodka stream to be dealing with that crap, pour him some on my behalf Chris.
i had a similar run in with a 2 wheel drive farm tractor , at least twice. we managed to get out with out assistance , but we used the front end loader to push it out a foot at a time .
Hey Chris it was nice meeting you this past weekend at McDonalds of all places. I never thought your backhoe would pull that loader out. impressed. Ron
Corb Lund’s song “The Truck Got Stuck” comes to mind haha. Well it didn’t come out that bad. At least he got it stopped before he couldn’t open the door anymore.
I learned how to operate a loader on a 544E just like this one. I really loved that old gal. It was my introduction to the wonders of a four-in-one bucket.
@@letsdig18 I worked for a paving contractor in the San Francisco area who would show up on state freeway paving jobs in a safety vest, hard hat, and flip flops. Eventually the Caltrans inspector would usually notice and yell at him, and he would either put his shoes on, or sit in his truck if he forgot to bring them lol He had an excuse though, after years of walking on hot asphalt, his feet would overheat in shoes. I had it happen too, and now I always have to take my shoes off when I am driving, but I don't do flip flops! Lol
I can't believe he stepped back hooked the chain and thought he didn't need to get into the machine for a little bit of help and let your backhoe do all the work
Is that a 410 backhoe that's a handy little horse right there they're good on Commercial jobs you can do all the hand work by the curbs with them and cut a nice straight edge when extending a parking lot
And now we see why Chris doesn't use a bucket loader to clear out pond silt... Yes, they have big buckets... but they sink to the Axles in the mud... and quickly too
You did that wrong if you want to practice using that loader as a boat anchor ,when we used to plant concrete boat anchors in wet beach sand, we used to dig round the 4 sides with the backhoe and the weight used to push the block down into the beach. it would work the same for filling the hole with that loader to L.O.L. Maybe you should save all the filmed F'ups through the year and do a Christmas special with them , It would be a great video to finish the year with. I thought that came out pretty good to for how far in it was, I've seen stuff stuck less take longer. Thanks for sharing , Take care
Serious question: is it not possible to lock the differential? One wheel on the wheel loader was spinning freely, and the other one wasn't even moving.
oh dear, oh dear , oh dear, i always thought deere`s were quite light footed creatures, i imagine this could have been a "very" dear lesson for the deere driver if you hadn`t pulled it out ...........................
that's not as bad as when I was at school a student put the backhoe in the 6 foot hole he just got done digging .. he said he forgot it was there lol instructor was pissed same guy dug a 9 ft by 10 ft hole with excavator and was to back up the dump truck and dump the dirt he just dug up and put the damn dump truck in the hole the next week he quit
It would have worked better if the loader guy would've dumped the forks all the way and stuck them in the ground and tilted them back. Where do they get these people?
I'm going to keep as much slack as possible in the chain cuess I got no clue what you are wanting me to do so I'll do it then you can get out n get muddy n fix it yourself oh n thanks for pulling me out again.....
I'm impressed! There's no way I would have believed that backhoe would tug out that size machine the way it was stuck. . . well done!
Nothinh runs nor pulls like a Deere!
"Well here's the fuckup for the week" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I was a supervisor at one time so I can feel the pain.

At least he stopped when he couldn't sink no more...way to funny.
Jordan *too, not to.

That drive shaft would be nice to have lol 😂 Jack wasn’t kidding they ain’t the brightest lol 😂 nice meetin y’all!
Lol good recovery it was nice meeting you guys lay in there!!!!
You don't need a front driveshaft... but it helps...
😂😂😂
They were going in reverse so you’re right front drive shaft for going forward
Nice meeting you at the Paul Bunyan show. Looks like you had your fair share of rain like us here in Pa.
"Hook the chain as short as you can...". Ten feet of slack later do it yourself.
Mark Smith they don’t know wtf they’re doing on any video. A bunch of hacks
Never a dull moment. Drive shaft not doing much good in the barn
Or stopping loose paper or a service manual blowing off the bench !
Ajudem o Brasil 🇧🇷estamos em guerra contra o comunismo
I thought that would be muddy, but that was some hard soil. Great job Chris!!!
One Deere pulling out the other Deere...LOL
And here we see a wild baby deere rescue mommy deere from drowning. Isn't nature beautiful... Jack's got too much blood in his vodka stream to be dealing with that crap, pour him some on my behalf Chris.
better than seeing a cow buried to its chest in mud dying from exuastion lol
That backhoe has some amount of muscle 💪. Nice job!
Wow! I didn't think that little backhoe was gonna do that. Shows what I know... Like how the Deere fawn pitches in to help a stranded bull.
nice--first we see the theatrical release version, then the directors cut version off the DVD. Chris has really upped his game !
i had a similar run in with a 2 wheel drive farm tractor , at least twice. we managed to get out with out assistance , but we used the front end loader to push it out a foot at a time .
Had to do that on a skid steer a few times
Hey Chris it was nice meeting you this past weekend at McDonalds of all places. I never thought your backhoe would pull that loader out. impressed. Ron
you too! Thanks for saying Hi
Congrats on the 150k of subscribers too!
Boa amigo 🇧🇷
Cant blame Jose Cuervo! This time 😂🍺maybe it was Jim Beam whiskey 😂😂
Another good deed done 👍👍nice job Chris 😀
Corb Lund’s song “The Truck Got Stuck” comes to mind haha. Well it didn’t come out that bad. At least he got it stopped before he couldn’t open the door anymore.
I guess Jacob figured since there where no tracks. He had found a secret route. Little did he know why it was a secret. Lol
I learned how to operate a loader on a 544E just like this one. I really loved that old gal. It was my introduction to the wonders of a four-in-one bucket.
"Hey don't drive over there anymore" 😂
Hey at least you put boots on
I was in flip flops when i got there tho! BAM!

Another reason John Deere should be sold in pairs, my . Great videos again and as usual.👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Downhill side of a sawdust pile is a nasty place to be, good recovery.
Kids will play when dads away,no more operating for that guy lol
Honestly surprised the backhoe pulled it out as easy as it did.
LoL 😂, hey don't drive over there no more! LoL 😂😂😂
Send a few load of rock from Vet job to fill in that sink hole when they buried the front loader. 😲🤔🤗
After watching your newer videos, it is clear you have gotten better at editing, but this one is still good.
544E with a 4-in-1 is an amazing creature.
And the award for operator of the week goes to.....
Guess that wasn’t the entrance to Narnia after all.
Nice Job Chris well done !
I can't believe he stepped back hooked the chain and thought he didn't need to get into the machine for a little bit of help and let your backhoe do all the work
This is we’re a 3” kinetic energy rope comes in handy!….Yankem ropes!
I knew the front loader dude would get out leaving machine in gear.
Those backhoe hydraulics are amazing.
That came outa there easier than I thought it would. Nice. Don't cha just love it when a plan comes together? Thanks for the video.
544E not a mud bogging machine when both driveshafts in place. Its a hard surface machine, but a great machine.
This is why I hate taking vacations! lol
That sucks but at least you got him out lol
Needs a set of 35.5 rice and canes on there
I bet that was a nice surprise when you got back to the mill!
Good meeting you guys it was an awesome weekend
Wow 😲 Chris, They got it stuck good
That was a big mistake. I hope the storm from the south doesn't flood you. I was at the Paul Bunyan Show on Friday. I couldn't get there Saturday
Love to know the reason why the front drive shaft is out of that machine.
Is that a 410 backhoe that's a handy little horse right there they're good on Commercial jobs you can do all the hand work by the curbs with them and cut a nice straight edge when extending a parking lot
Hey chris wouldnt that lumber yard bee better for a tracked loader ?
I still like those old 544Es
Bright minds think a like I was waiting for you to shorten the chain lol
The video I have been waiting for!!!! Hi Jack!
That Chipper Guy I know right! Hearing about this weekend wasn’t enough lol!
It wasn't as bad as I was thinking it was gonna be
letsdig18 yeah it looked like it came out pretty easy!
Haha Jack says you get me outa this hole I’ll drag you all around this lot bigdeal18
And now we see why Chris doesn't use a bucket loader to clear out pond silt... Yes, they have big buckets... but they sink to the Axles in the mud... and quickly too
Dang letsdig!! U the man👍👍👍
What a piss for operator thinking he can drive within 40 ft of a building and not get stuck in a bog mess
I was expecting Jack to fall in the mud. Ima say if that woulda happened there a been a few beeps in tha video.
That is a good Monday video! Stay safe and on top of the ground, not in the ground! ....13
Thought for a minute you were about to join him.
Your skills are awesome I had no clue to could walk a backhoe with the boom like you did
He should’ve got a running start at it the first time and I bet he would’ve made it.
Drive would help.Driver with brains would be of benefit too
I did not think that would have the power, Let alone the weight to move that.
The scary part is this weekend you will see Jacob hunting there because he sees Deer tracks. Lol
Why didn't that guy chain that right the first time. The operator had to get out and fix the chain. He must have a ton of patience.
Haha shit happens! Nice save pard!
I bet a Case would have bulled its way through........hahahaha
Nothing sinks like a Deere.
How does the saying go...When the Cat is away the mice will play? lol Looks like a good time by all this weekend!

I thought a backhoe was that strong
Does he sell the saw dust there ? Or can you get a load of it.
Lesson learned: Never go mudbogging with heavy equipment.
Serious question: is it not possible to lock the differential? One wheel on the wheel loader was spinning freely, and the other one wasn't even moving.
You probably met my boss Wayne Price then. He placed 3rd or 4th in scaling the logs. 17k on the table it was if I remember correctly
I would have used those forks to help push out
oh dear, oh dear , oh dear, i always thought deere`s were quite light footed creatures, i imagine this could have been a "very" dear lesson for the deere driver if you hadn`t pulled it out ...........................
Hooks the chain and steps back... What's he think you're gonna do?
Ank you Chris. Ooosp, sh#t happen.
Hahaha damnit Dave
Is that at the sawmill? Love the video
better get flotation rubber on the sucker :D
Just turn the roof beacon on, it will get you unstuck in no time
When In doubt red line it out!
That went well
i know where the next batch of rocks dug out should go.. just to reduce the chance of anybody taking that short cut again..
Not a recovery video until it ends with an open 12-pack on a wheel scene.
that's not as bad as when I was at school a student put the backhoe in the 6 foot hole he just got done digging .. he said he forgot it was there lol instructor was pissed same guy dug a 9 ft by 10 ft hole with excavator and was to back up the dump truck and dump the dirt he just dug up and put the damn dump truck in the hole the next week he quit

Ya can/tg leave the kids alone for a minute They just have to show off and look! LOL
Needs some 34.4 rice and canes
I'm going to keep as much slack as possible in the chain cuess I got no clue what you are wanting me to do so I'll do it then you can get out n get muddy n fix it yourself oh n thanks for pulling me out again.....
Чел на петашке красава
Got another hurricane coming be safe
"Fuck up of the week", yup. He'll never hear the end of it.
Not the brightest bulb leaving the forks on the ground as you're pulling him out....
He should have flipped them down, pushed them in and curled them back and he could have either pulled himself out. Or backwards to help the tow.
