I still find it amazing that they throw the saw dust and shavings away!! Around here, the horse people and dairy farms PAY for that stuff!!!

Sawdust can actually cause respiratory problems in animals just like humans.
      Shavings are preferred.
Collecting the sawdust may not be cost effective compared to just letting it go to compost.

One of the best upgrades was when they put the forward, neutral, and reverse switch on the joystick! I have it on my Cat 420F2IT backhoe, makes it nice to always have your left hand on the steering wheel!

New subscriber here in Alabama! Enjoy your videos so I figured I would finally subscribe. Love to make people laugh. If I can’t make someone smile everyday, I figure it’s a bad day! Ole CT3 couldn’t have moved them logs any faster than you did. Y’all have a good-un! I gotta go. My wife is in the bathroom yelling for something!

Volvo loaders still have my heart. The L90D and L150D loaders are a go to for dam de-silting and raking. Although for logistics work in a laydown id run a cat IT62H, depending on whats being loaded/unloaded

  • @briangardiner1015

I think there is a pause between forward and reverse so you don't get thrown out the windshield. With wheel loaders you have to look out for holes that will throw you around. I would have fixed that one on the way back.

As a plant operator in the UK myself I drive these wheel loaders for a waste and recycling company. The two we have are 2008 JCB Waste Master 456ZX'S waste material handler spec grilles on the windows and waste handler tipping buckets and they are a beast at 47679.4lb 22 tons 6 cylinder turbo diesel but steering is so light on them.

You are pretty funny Chris, as you talk yourself out of using loaders. 😊 This machine should work nicely here. If this is a short term rental, put an operator in it and re-grade the property as needed, get some serious work done. Excellent video, thanks.

Gratifying the way you board an unfamiliar machine, grope at first, but after ten minutes or so have it pretty well mastered. Hydraulic oil in your blood might be one way of putting it, I suppose. Skill in depth and ready adaptability: ain't no one-trick pony.

If haul a lot of tree on the trailer, and unload with forks like that. Add two 1/2"x6" metal strips across the bed to keep from getting into deck wood set them equal from center of trailer at the spread width of the forks.protect the trailer.
