- This is the history of the Church of the Brethren through the eyes of Medford Neher, who painted the murals on display at Camp Mack in Northern Indiana. This presentation is of unknown year, and unknown narrator. Any idea of narrator should be forwarded to David Sollenberger at LSVideo@Comcast.net who is working to preserve this resource.

@@barbarat5729 Welcome aboard, dear friend!
My ancestor, Zachariah Lyerla moved to Adams County Illinois from Union County Illinois to join the church led by George Woolf.
At least three of my ancestors are mentioned in this
Brethren was a very good testimony from saints seekers to know the Lord
From every book. Brethren, Hudson Taylor, Margaret E. Barber, George müler, LT Moody, Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, the 7 evangelical saints left from England to China, has some problems because Chinese don’t like men’s in their house, so, in Hudson Taylor preaching, he took about the need of woman missionary. In that day, Margaret E. Barber was completely captive by the Lord and left to China. There she was teaching to some girls, but there was a baptist member Watchman Nee, who was a very seeker for the Lord. There Margaret E. Barber was the one Nee always ask for so many questions. Then Nee books sense then, are a good books for ever seeker Christian.
I have a hound dog on this n ya. This just set off some church ⛪️ bells 🔔
Germantown? Where? PA?
yes, Philadelphia
Germantown is near Philadelphia in .Pennsylvania. It is close to where Alexander Mack, Sr., and his followers landed here in the United States back in 1708 when they were forced to leave Germany.
The Wissihicken Creek is nearby, and my husband, who is a Brethen pastor, baptized several of our college students who were with us at that location.
There is something special about that place, as for us, it is holy ground.
