The WB slam wouldn’t have been official without the lizard fish.
Master of drum and he's pulling their strings.
Pitching his jig, hearing drag scream.
Blinded by flash the drum do their thing,
Just call his name hear the drag scream
ELIAS!!!! ELIAS!!!!
😂😂😂😂
Wide brim hat!
I buy the cheap Amazon special slow pitch for inshore, caught just about every thing there is to catch on them other than sheep
Glad to see ya back in NC and yeah our weather has been brutally hot stay safe out there
Been fishing light stuff in Texas here as the water disappears. Ned Rig = Fun time
I think Elias could attach a hook to a pull tab and catch fish with it. 🤔
Love Spanish Mackerel to catch and eat!
One bit the palm of my hand once and wouldn’t let go,
buddy had to pry its mouth open with Needle nose.
Pretty jigs!
I use a lot of 10 to 20 gram jigs here in SW Fla. Mostly from docks piers and bridges. Never much on sheep head but great for bigger Mangroves and many other fish.
Thank you. I follow your posts because you do a lot of jigging. I love this post and plan to get some metal jigs.
I really love watching your videos very peaceful very informative, looks like those jigs rank up in the top
Awesome stuff man!! Slow pitch is my favorite way to target reef fish offshore, it’s a blast on that lighter tackle.
Thank you for the fun
A true champion of the people posting the link to the badass jig deal! I gotta stock up on your soft plastics for the Brunswick kayak fishing tournament coming up as well!!! Also that spot is right by where I shot that trout
I’m from ILM, but live in Japan! Love seeing this. I watch your channel religiously.
Killing it as usual ! Those break offs hurt, hurts your spirit and your wallet. Great job, welcome home.
Saw you on John's last upload... love to see my to favorite northeast anglers fishing together.. 👊🏾🤙🏾
Great stuff!!
wow amazing day of fishing
Elias, I'm impressed. I thought it would be micro jigging for micro fish. The reds weren't to bad and you did catch a Spanish for dinner.
Nothing like a good ole toad! Lol.....I do a pretty good job catching those 😅
Elias should do a catch and cook on the Toad fish. They are delicious.
What? An inshore slam AND a trash slam? Man you are the GOAT. I’m getting some of those jigs for sure.
Trash slam comeback.
I've been using these for years. Favorite is the major craft jigpara I've caught almost everything Glad to see you found success
What exactly is the jig that you like in major craft jipara? Slow or standard? What weight and color?
@@vsonic86 standard and tungsten. 10 and 15g are killer. Color doesnt matter imo but just match what bait thats common in your area.
@@vsonic86depth and current what weight of jigs to use as well.
@@ShinkiZer0 I have that 10g standard micro jig, and I never caught a single fish on them. I even snag a fews 😭
@@vsonic86 where are you from? I catch all sorts of stuff on em. What are you fishing for? If the fish eats any type of sardines, pilchards or threadfins they will hit this micro jigs for sure.
Beautiful fish
I've been having great success with the Cabela's jigs in the 1/4-3/8 oz sizethat I put DIY assist hooks on for Yellow and White Bass. I vertical jig with 10lb braid and a 12lb flouro leader, using a simple quick upward pull, and free-fall drop. I also catch the occasional Largemouth, up to 5-6lb, while targeting the Yellows and Whites. Slow-pitching is awesome.
Works well for white bass I bet.
Looks like everything likes the small slow pitch and micro jigs from Japan.
Thanks Elias
Metal jigs are so underused. I used them for mangrove snapper in the keys
I just ordered jigs from Japaaaaaaaann
Toadfish east anything!
Having observed your technique over many videos my hunch was you were going to be quite successful using slow pitch jigs! And to boot you accomplished it using spinning gear. Not the super expensive slow pitch gear. I hope you sense the marketing opportunity in front of you. 😊
That was a great flounder but it looked absolutely huge when it first surfaced
Small spro micro swievel 👍
Elias ,
I’ve realized many aspects of jetty fishing & channel fishing on ur channel,,, & also some interesting ways to catch n cook ,,,, along with Knowledge of spinning tackle setups & their applications ,,, I’m just curious about why u don’t eat red drum or spotted Seatrout very much ? 😊🕊️🐟✨
I keep them in the colder water occasionally- generally they are fish that don’t migrate much and release well when handled properly to catch another day.
Elias ,
Yessir , one thing about ur approach is to consider Conservation in a Big Way ( think about the health in numbers of the fisheries ) ,,, I Hope Many Other Anglers Adopt these ideals ,,,🤙🏼🐟✨
Nice day nice job!
The irony… I just bought a couple of these major craft micro jigs. With the flutter spoons… the hooks are sharp af and they cast pretty ok
I bought some micro-jigs while on vacation in Japan, and are wondering if they'll work in freshwater? I'm a try tomorrow.
nice!
Jerry I know you’ll see this!! Lol right up your alley
Freakin love them jap jigs!!
I like to catch Red Drum, not as much for eating to me.
When will you do some trolling fishing
It's been 5 months now.
Has it occurred to you yet that one ties to the solid ring because the purpose of the split ring is to facilitate the changing of jigs?
Like due to changing conditions such as depth or just trying to see what the fish will take best?
The jigs catch just about anything, and they fish for everything.
It hurt my soul! To see you let that slab flounder go 😭 he would have been in the skillet 😂
Years ago when I was in the states for a visit, I noticed some short pre-made wire traces on sale in a tackle shop. surely losing so many lures and fish might be a case for trying these ?
Can you do more video using micro jig?
Too bad you couldn't invite that flounder to dinner for a fish Sandwich
Is there a particular knot you are supposed to tie for offshore jigging? I want to get into it
Also just found your channel. I have access to private marina I want to try for sheep and a private yak launch behind masonboro if you want to get up sometime
Waow,, lovely 🌹
You think the jigs work better than the soft plastics for the reds?
I think plastics typically better choice, but certain environments the metals are a good choice 👍
What depth are you fishing these smaller jigs?
Is this Suffolk County Long Island?
Interesting
You gonna be fishing oki this fall at all?
Most likely 👍
Hey man nice video as usual. My brother runs a non-profit for foster kids and I usually take a couple kids out fishing once a month. I only have 3 poles as of now, so if you wanted to donate a Rod or reel I’d gladly take it. You’d be aiding in teaching the next generation about fishing.
Are you local? I can certainly help out with a few if you come pick them up - e-mail me through my website.
Do they work from the beach
I’ll try them soon!
Nice video elias , but why not give it a true fair try , with a legit slow fall pitch jigging rod .?.
There are titanium thin leaders sold by almost all Japanese manufacturers. It’s better to use it. It’s very thin and few inches
I’ll try it!
I was down home for the past 3 weeks tending to my mother's funeral
Sorry to hear. Hope the video brought good vibes.
Great info, and thank you for no hat cam footage, and I mean that in a constructive criticism way.
First
How bout a piece of wire so the break offs don’t have to live with little lures in their mouths
second
