50% to do nothing but a 12.5% chance to kill any 60 hp basic it goes up against. So a bit more than 1 in 10 times you'll KO and cuck your opponent from turn 2 evolve.
19:15 Dragons play style is having strong stats but require different energy or have expensive attacks. That means dragon type energy doesn't exist, however, there is a "Special Energy" card that can turn into the energy a dragon type needs.
The new dragon might be a good wall. I hope we get a good Trainer card for Dragon types in the next set. Maybe it can give 1 energy of ANY type to make the new dragon playable with Dragonite
Been looking forward to this EDIT: It's funny, your brain autocorrected Cramorant to be better than it is. It would make sense for the effect to be better than Dugtrio for 3 energy but nope, still a coinflip. Just does 20 more damage. Water forever paying the Misty tax.
11:28 Pikachu is incorrect. It in fact has an ability similar to Pikachu EX where it does damage based on how many benched electric Pokémon you have, but it's like 10 damage per.
I prefer the old versions better honestly. New Raichu sounds better for actively attacking, but old Raichu has an element of pressure that new Raichu can't really match. There were a lot of "checkmate" scenarios where the opponent cannot switch in a powerful EX simply because of Raichu being able to switch in and one shot.
You can, go to the collection (second icon at the bottom on main menu), click the icon on the left of the search icon on the top of the screen and click on the cards you are missing and you can read the card if you scroll down. It's clearly not perfect but you can read cards you don't have. It's just way better on independent websites though.
5:09 i guess the non-existent flaw would be that you must play dark energy but that's about it since koffing rarely deals damage, it's all about turbo summoning Weezing. Pretty neat ngl
mew is bad vs pikachu no? pikachu requires a bench of electric pokemon so it will deal no damage vs it. Pikachu also needs a bench of electric pokemon or else pikachu does only 60. If there's a deck that does not use Mew EX its pikachu EX. As for other decks, I don't think Charizard would want to use mew either since you can't give it fire energy with moltres and it can't replace arcanine or charizard for that deck. I think pikachu EX and celebi are the 2 meta decks that don't use Leaf. charizard likely uses 2 and mewtwo uses 2.
The new Vaporion is broken .. Misty allows you if lucky on most occasions to add 1-2 water energy which can be recycled. Add to that that Starmie does not have any retreat cost means you get to hit for 90 or more damage retreat when low hp and cycle the energy to a different pokemon. Broken potential imo but of course the misty card is win or lose gamble.
Every 1 Price Deck also don't wanna play this. They don't want any Ex in fact. Im just wondering which ones. Probably Rapidash. It just slows down your defeat tremendously. In the Tcg 1 Price Decks are even annoying.
@chaosinfernoid9008 Good point, that's definitely true for now, but I think part of the reason simply is that there aren't really any ex pokemon that fit into these kind of decks as of rn, but if there were your game plan could be to lead with fast non ex's and in the case of your opponent getting 2 points slotting in a good ex to get max value out of it. In other words forcing the opponent to earn 4 points instead of 3
I listen to this video at work so I appreciate you mentioning the details of the card. I want to try out a scolipede/weezing deck with that 120 dmg on poison. The problem is scoli being stage 2 but 120 + 20 weakness + 10 poison dmg kills a mewtwo ex, not to mention pikachu. Also love the new rapidash.
I think poke flute will be a bit more situationally useful. This set and even the original has plenty of ways to punish a big backline. The Sabrina element is one thing, but options like Pidgeot Ex could make things interesting. Definitely sleeping on Pidgeot Ex. You already saw the poke flute. Late game means nothing when you can fill your opponent’s bench. Easy enough to mix in regular Pidgeot to cycle that bench up and clean up.
Throwing Tauros on my InfernoEX deck. Mew can also replace it. So Charizard EX + Moltres, fire energy for both works because it's colorless. Same with Pidgeot. Yeah, I'm a fan of these
Here are my thoughts on some of these cards: - New Pikachus attack actually doesn't paralyze, but rather does the same as Pikachu-EX, just 1/3 of the damage. Still that's 30 damage for one energy, and the only other two basic electric types that can do this have low HP. It's probably the best regular Pikachu for Raichu decks - Galvantula can deal nice damage and combo nicely with Sabrina to lock the opponent into a secure EX ko. And Joltik deals nice damage as well - I feel like a lot of the meta will revolve around benching Pokémon with powerful effects, so dealing high damage to benched Pokémon might become really powerful. Lumineon's 50 damage to the bench is good, combos well with Greninja, and just like Starmie-EX it has 0 retreat cost. -Latter does combo nicely with Vaporeon: Simply switch Starmie-EX or Lumineon with something like Articuno-EX and redistribute the energy to it - If you use Weezing in a stall strategy, the new one would probably buy you more time, if you can afford to spend the 2 energy on it - With Budding Expeditioner and Mew-EX we have another way to stall now, and unlike Weezing Mew-EX doesn't need to evolve and has more HP and less retreat cost. You don't want it to faint though. - Druddigon in a Greninja deck for the extra passive damage sounds spicy. - The main advantage of regular Rapidash is its speed and ability to attack for 40 or 70 damage immediately. The new Rapidash would have to wait a turn and get the same result at worst, so I'm not sure if it replaces the old one. New Ponyta is probably the better basic Pokémon though. - Mew-EX doesn't really benefit from copying Celebi-EX as you'd need to flip 3 heads to defeat it. - Beheeyem deala up to 70 damage for just a single energy, and that as a Phase 1. That's really good: only Exeggutor-EX can do this 50% of the time and Beedrill, which is a Phase 2. This card shouldn't be underestimated - Dhelmise is basically Pikachu-EX if Serperior is on the bench. 90 damage for 2 energy on a non-EX basic Pokémon? Sounds kinda busted. - Celebi-EX&Serperior seems like it works almost exactly like Mewtu-EX with only few differences being that 50 or 150 damage isn't guaranteed (but could be far exceeded) and it has less HP, but also less retreat cost. Also it doesn't get hard countered by Mew-EX - Some decks run Old Amber because it's not a basic Pokémon, so it's not the only pokémon in the starting hand and doesn't get fetched by pokeball, but can still be used as a Sabrina counter. These decks usually focus on bringing out one boss. Adding a single Aerodactyl-EX in this deck for the passive effect could help against decks that might evolve active Pokémon, like an Electrode, Exeggutor-EX, Rapidash etc - Leaf helps out Pokémon with really high retreat, like Kangashkan and Weezing (if you ran out of Kogas), which otherwise would be detrimental to have in play if you are 1 point away from losing
47:48 I wouldn't put it in a Pikachu EX deck, Charizard deck, celibi deck, and to a lesser extent a most water decks, for pika it's because circle cercet is based on ELECTRIC pokemon on bench, and for the other decks, there main battery's are type specific and won't work for mew
Nah, Chatot is more than a mulligan if you have 1 card and your opponent 5 thats an instant plus 3. Played right, it can provide so much consistency, it's insane.
18:10 how do they enforce cards like this in the physical TCG? Like you'd have to show your opponent that you did indeed draw a psychic Pokémon to draw it.

It's OP if you know how to play. You can't beat me at pokemon, I play yugioh 😎👉😂
first of all i can tell you haven't played the new pokemon games lamo. but i came to say the golem gets online late game... everything will be able to 2 turn kill it so while it does get a extra 60 hp making it effectively 220, it still dies to the biggest bosses that you will see in any serious deck like charizard, mewtwo, celebi, even alakazam for meta counter. it really only stands its ground vs fun decks. if it came online earlier it would be a good card.
Does Exeggcute able to put leaf energy if player use different type of energy(s)? I'm not sure the rule/guide ever says about Energy Zone being colorless state etc. But wow, if it could then Exeggcute can be run perfectly in non-leaf energy(s) decks.
Yes you get a grass energy from the energy even if grass energy isn’t in your deck. Same goes for misty with no water energy in the deck and magneton with e electric
