  • Today I am sharing with you another Bulk Meal Prep for the meals I made before leaving for California for my sister-in-laws engagement… I was gone only for a week so the prep was relatively on the smaller side… About 3-5 servings for each of these… I was on a 8 day leave, starting from the day before travel and ending with couple days after returning home
There is Palak Paneer - 3 servings, two in freezer and 1 in refrigerator
Then Masala Refried Beans -2 servings, we ate 1 serving yesterday, one serving here which will go in refrigerator
Then Moong Usal, again 3 servings - 1 shared with my friend yesterday, one here that will go in fridge and one for freezer
Then there are Chole - once again 3 servings and same storage as Palak Paneer
Cauliflower Bhaji - similar situation as with moong usal
Then Red Sauce Pasta - made 2 servings.. 1 that boys took for lunch today and one serving for their lunch a couple days later
Then there are Onion Bhajiya Waffles, which they will eat either for snack or breakfast.. uptown them
Then there is a huge batch of Peanut Butter- Banana Oatmeal…soak 2 cups of oatmeal in water or milk for up to1 hour, microwave it for 4 minutes. Add in couple of peeled bananas, 4 tbsp of PB, 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder.. mash everything to get a smooth consistency and boom its ready.. At time serving, add in chopped walnuts or pecans or pumpkin seeds and chia seeds..

Hats off to you! I know how difficult it is to prepare each and everything outside India with no house help. You do everything so diligently. :) Great inspiration 👍

Thank you Ashwini! If i have to reach work on time (which is time bound) and have time for my personal fun and exercise, then I have to be very mindful of what and how I do, especailly things that i dont particularly like (ahem... unloading dishwasher😭, folding & keeping clothes😩 and voiceover/editing for weekly video uploads🙃)...

Thank you very much on all counts... Travel was ok considering I had isle seats and people sitting next to me didn't get up too many times😄 But good I had food with me otherwise i wouldn't be so happy!

Can we refrigerate the besan cheelas too?
And do you refrigerate the pasta or freeze it?
How long can food stay good in the refrigerator and freezer?

Hello.. I haven’t frozen chillas but I have frozen pancakes… So I would guess that chillas can be frozen.. my recommendation would be to keep the size small (6 inches or less) and slightly thicker than the usual (typically chillas are on the thinner side)..HTH & do let me know if you try it out😊
