If Tony's post race interviews don't make you laugh, listen to when he's pissed in the car. It's so funny to see how he goes absolutely quiet when it's god then super pissed quickly
I loved that "nascar decided not to penalize Tony for his commentary". Damn straight you ain't gonna penalize someone for telling the goddamn truth you nastycar fuckers won't ever tell. These assholes are worse than a Gold and coin exchange downtown regarding truth.
I miss Steve Byrnes, he had personality. He was fun to watch and was great on tv. RIP. Such a shame. I wish some of the other sportscaters had alittle more of what he had and not be so vanilla.
Steve Byrnes was a TRUE one of a kind man! I truly hate that he is no longer with us. NASCAR commentating hasn't been the same without him. We miss you Steve Byrnes!! But if heaven is real you are up there commentating with Dale Sr. as your guest along with Davey Allison and All the other amazing men we have lost in the Racing World! NASCAR, Indy Car, Formula One, GT Racing, 12hr/24Hr Endurance Racing, And so on! I will Never forget all of the hilarious things you've said and your true sportsmanship attitude you had while on the air for NASCAR!
SHEVYWOOD I liked him when he first came into NASCAR, then around 2012 is when I started to have a beef with him, and it got worse in 2013. (You can probably guess why.) I do think he's a good pick for SHR, though, and best wishes to him on his future with SHR.
There are two spots that really changed my opinion of a driver. The interview you mentioned with Bowyer is one. Also, if you watch the "Radioactive" video from the Martinsville race where Kenseth took Logano out you'll here Denny Hamlin tell his crew what a mess NASCAR has become (paraphrasing). That made me a Hamlin fan right then and there. Of course I've pretty much given up on NASCAR and rarely watch a race anymore but really appreciated hearing a driver say what many of us old, true fans think.
Trackside, Inside Winston Cup and so many rain delays... This is the NASCAR I fell in love with. I probably have tapes with every single one of these clips somewhere.
Seeing that rain delay at Texas brought back memories.. of being home all cozy and enjoying the coverage, even if it wasn't racing. Nowadays I don't enjoy the races that much and all the fun is gone. Rest In Peace, Steve, you were a joy to watch and losing you in NASCAR was a terrible lost to the sport.

that first interview was great. I remember watching the one with the bear, that was the best one of his pit shows. the one with the tacos were pretty good too. Clint and Gordon were good too, the whole thing with Clint. every thing with Clint was good. then the pie. Tony Stewart reminds me of Chevy Chase in the Vacation movies, even when he's pissed and full of rage he's freaking hilarious!
Tony Stewart has a lot of balls speaking like that and the NASCAR hauler is right behind him 🤔🤔

The guy in the background of Stewarts Talladega interview trying to keep a straight face 🤣
