Lovely video sir. Really very helpful for students like me who wish to take up Anesthesia. Keep up the good work sir. You are really helping out many students in a way that one requires. Thank you sir.
I think this is misinformation .I don't think you can apply for CCT after MD in India. To get a CCT you'll have to complete the entire training process in a GMC approved country. You can however apply for CESR after MD in India

Sir , I've joined Anesthesia but now I'm having second thoughts about it since there is no opd ,less patient contact. My other available option is gen surgery and ent . Can you please advise ?
Sir no mention about earning in the UK with FRCA. Pls reply if any idea about that . And doing this in the Uk overcomes the plateau that is much talked about our branch??
@Iluminati Hi, FRCA is an exam, passing it doesn't affect your salary in UK. Your salary will be dictated by National wage decided by BMA. It depends upon your Role and type of post. Most salaries are fixed and decided by years of experience. FRCA is just an exam that is written by Students as a part of their training and certification in Anesthetics called as CCT. So FRCA doesn't decide salary.
Yes and also depends on the head of the department wether they consider these in India. I would personally accept these degrees since I know how difficult it is to pass them.
Fellowships in UK are dedicated training in one of the branches like Cardiac or neuroanesthesia. FRCA is an exam which is taken by students of anesthesia in United Kingdom. Botth are different. FRCA is equivalent to MD in India. You pass MD exams and then you are allowed to practice in India. Same is with FRCA, any trainee who is undergoing training in United Kingdom is required to pass both sections Primary and Final FRCA before they are awarded a CCT, as Dr Shishir pointed out. So FRCA and Fellowships are entirely different. FRCA is just an exam and Fellowship are training posts.
