I feel every turn in this video, moving my hips whilst watching the screen. You ski just like I do. People tell me I have no technique, but not matter, I have fun.
Hi Alex, this ski video was exceptional, maybe not only to me. Was like a skiing road movie. With speed and challenges faced. You are a very brave and skillful skier. With great stamina too. You legs have power and csn hsndle lot of lactase without tiring. In the first clip the slope was very demanding , and partially unskiable. More like rough off piste than a black slope. Its suitable for a very small section of experienced riders, and even them its a challage to ski in a very controlled way. Its difficult to comment ( if even necessary) the technicality of your skills. You managed the challenging moguls in a subtle way. It would be interesting to see a video shooted from down up, when you hit a black slope. Then we could get better impression how it looks like as a whole. To sum up this all, this was so far the best compilation of black runs shown in UA-cam. ⛷️ Well done. Thank U 4 sharing 👍
great video man! Thanks! ive been watching your stuff for a while now, always gets me excited for my next ski trip. Skiing wiwth my friend in Wengen next feb!!!
Thanks and thanks for watching I apprsiate it I will be posting more this winter! I have never been to Wengen before dispite being to laterbrunen and Murren and Gringelwald I didnt have time its a beautiful part of the world.
Murren make sure you have a hotel that is close to where you get up the lift or you have a hotel that will meet you. It’s no fun carrying your stuff across the town. Not really the other two to be honest. 👍
You ski like me. Safe for the other people on the slopes, but maybe not for yourself. I hope you take this as a compliment , nice video- doing the swiss wall tomorrow wish me luck.
Haha please tell me how you got on! Thanks for your comment I appreciate it. You get my skiing lol and the GoPro makes it look different to skiing in real life. Have fun tomorrow from les deux alpe
@Alexskiing nah weather was awful for the rest of the week and the swiss routes were all closed. Should have done it second day but bottled it haha. Maybe there will be another chance next year
Haha that’s the thing with a lot of these difficult runs with wind and rain they are open less often. I am hoping to do a few more of the difficult runs I haven’t done but there not open at the moment. Thanks for the comment from les deux alpes!
Alex absolutely loved the video. What’s a beginner doing skiing that run without stocks getting in skiers way almost causing an accident. Keep up the great work. Lou
I remember how terrified I was passing by the Swiss wall as a kid, my biggest fear was to take it by mistakes. Years later I was snowboarding it easy 😄
This was a quick Sarenne without too much people, but the Tunnel is the real challenge of the alpe. Combe Charbonière is a nice slope too you should give it a go.
I will post a piste guide for Tignes in January when I am next there. It’s a huge ski area, and the runs from Aiguille Percée are my favourite in February as there are fewer people, although there are lots of other cool runs. Thanks for the support; I really appreciate it.
It would be also interesting to know, which exact model of Atomic your skis were and how long they were ( in cm ), compared to your own height ? Meaning how stiff and how many centimeters shorter. Thank you for sharing that info 🙏
I rode the "weiße Perle" (White Pearl) in Saas Fee last season, watching your Video brings back great memories! Are the french alps your favourite region? I can recommend Saas Fee (CH) Davos-Klosters(CH) and Montafon (AT). I will be skiing in february, so I pray for snowfall. Probalby I will take a camera with me and post some results. Whats the english equvalent to ski heil?
Love the videos man any chance you could timestamp the names of the runs? I’m almost sure I’ve watched all the original videos I’ve made it my bucket list to ski them all myself!
Thanks for the feedback. Of course I can it’s a great idea. Let me know how you get on in skiing them. Please keep giving me feedback as I will be posting more this year. I can see why that’s a good idea I should have done it before 🧐
@@Alexskiingah nice. Yes, I definitely recommend it if you have kids. Very family friendly ski resort. A few nice black runs aswell. If you do go there please make a vid 🎉
Almost like me, but maybe you have more speed. This is the kind of sport that if you have strength in your legs, then you can keep up the pace. I myself might run out of courage at some points if I followed you.😇
Haha I can ski most decents without stoping chanig between diffrent types of turns to give mussle groups some time off. However I get worse as I ski down as you can see in a couple of these runs.
Greetings Sir, At the beginning as your looking to start U kept viewing both sides. That was interesting and of course you look for other persons but I seems to me that you already know where the others are going to turn ( plus you keep a really wide berth from the others) . Thank you for sharing and blessings dg
I thought your inside ski was supposed to be your short ski? Sounds like you're sliding on your back edges but hey yoire having fun right? Perhaps a little too fast at your skill level to be considered safe.
Things can be hard to see on a GoPro. Many I am used to race on snow and dry ski slope. Ski 100 days a year with coaching not saying your wrong just saying I have more skiing experience than most. Thanks for the comment
Thanks I am trying a few new things over the next couple of weeks see what works what doesn’t work. Lots of older people who can not ski put videos in the background so I thought might make there life a bit easier to put it together
@@Alexskiing Hope, you give me a "license" for this idea, don't you? 😀 I don't know when I will be able to ski again and make new footage, but this is a good idea for creating new kind of videos from old footage when I would have some time.

dangerous and uncontroled skiing. Not finisihing turns properly. Good luck in the future

In the backseat position too much as well. Just the first couple minutes tell you this. Very little control, no good plan, random turns etc.
