Another great drive! I can’t even begin to imagine how long it takes to integrate all that film footage together so seamlessly and spot on timing wise. So impressive!
Thorough reviews by a nice, clearly hard working fella trying to earn a crust - loving the ' 1 free Road Rage ' per episode bonus ! GREAT STUFF GOOD LUCK 2 YOU.
Great video, as always! Hammond actually said that Mexico thing, in a Grand Tour episode, about the Bentley Bentayga - James May had brought one for one of their test things and he was mocking its off-road settings to make the point that a Bentley is never going to be good off-road. He said that the modes included “Swamp, Minefield, Christmas or Mexico”, rather than what the icons on the rotary selector actually meant. 😂 I’ve always liked the Evoque. They’re good cars. I’d still prefer a larger Range Rover, but wouldn’t say no to an Evoque. Nice red colour as well on the one you’ve got :)
We've noticed that sometimes when you park the car and get out and go around for bonnet shot, you sometimes throw your keys up and carry out a key spin (or axel}. I've seen a double (mostly reviewing your preferred JLR brand) but have you attempted a triple?
Talked to long time mate of mine about car stamping in service log book, he disagreed and said it not worth doing. What he don't know is every service stamp will add references of printed history in any necessary repairs carried out, dealings of payments also findings with advisories, a stamp will also declare it passed service and cover all purchases with receipt, a stamp also easily maintains neat records of year serviced because when you sell car, the person buying it off you will question how come there no service stamp here or proof of service that it is in standard manufactured condition. l get dealership every year to stamp mine in my vauxhall astra 2012 log book for proof and reference. Great video by way, and well handled with the other drivers that clearly lost few of the perception in highway code rules. Well, when l test drive lm hoping to get a range rover evoque just like this one soon, except l prefer black as of colour. Method also of purchase would be second hand dealership or private in the market option of buying, and this video had helped me make mind up while shopping around on budget during every car sale buy and demand time. This video had really opened my eyes about range rover manufacturers line of stock a bit more than the other fake car review videos of same make also model, be time to talk sales people down a price or two, and we as old drivers all should be sales people in what we know about our cars by now mate lol.
I do enjoy your videos Mr C! I know I shouldn't laugh but I do enjoy your total and complete exasperation at fellow road users that pull out in front of you or change lanes (at the roundabout with no idea what they are doing 🙄) 😂 Oh and you didn't mention if the steering wheel was heated? 😉
Another great video Barrie, how come there is such a big gap in the service history mileage, you serviced it at 72485 but the one previous to that was at 37938!
I'm afraid these days of "Digital Service History" are destroying the service records of many cars, if the garage hasnt got the equipment or the ability to enter the service on the digital service history record, and theres no service book in the car, the invoice goes to the accountants or gets lost, then there goes the history, we try our best to track it down but sometimes cant. Digital service history is the stupidest thing that has ever happened in the motor industry,
For reference mate, the "easy entry" in the settings, when enabled, lowers the driver seat when the door is opened. Resetting itself when you've returned, closed the door and switched on the ignition. I cheated and googled it though lol

Oh and you didn't mention if the steering wheel was heated? 😉
Preston is the shit drivers capital of the world, and it didnt have a heated steering wheel
Is the evoque for sale then ? 😊
it was but is now sold, keep an eye on our website www.ggcars.co.uk
Good video of a good car!! 👍🏼
Thanks! 👍
Very nice car. You need something like a range rover driving around Preston. You can't go five minutes without seeing terrible drivers.
i need a JCB
